Make sure you play during the event period to be eligible for the potential 1 million or more bonus skill points to be claimed. WeGÇÖre also bringing back the Sever BPO Dropsuit set, chosen by your votes.
In addition, weGÇÖre bringing back the Omega boosters for anyone that needs that extra boost to their skill points. Lastly the Armored Assault pack is heading back to the garage soon, and is currently 50% off. Make sure you grab some before itGÇÖs gone!

I just find one thing confusing, which I hope you can clarify?
From the webpage:
"Additionally, if the one million mark is reached before the 21 September 11:00 UTC, then a stretch goal of another one million skill points for one million clones destroyed will be available."
And a little bit further down:
"To qualify for the stretch goal, a total of 1,000,000 clone deaths must be reached by 23:59 UTC on 20 September."
A bit contradicting, isn't it?
Or am I reading it incorrectly? |

My Alt Crash Gaden (who now has more SP than Fox) is a Sentinel with over 30 million Skill Points. This week I decided to try Commando and found myself purchasing the skill books for Nanocircuitry, Light Weapon Operation, Combat Rifle, Swarm Launcher, and mass Driver. It looks like I am going to need a lot more Skill Points!

I will be surprised as well considering we only have less than 3000 players logged in at any given time. If we somehow pull it off, that will be a feat of its own.

@ Thokk Nightshade: Use this site if you have trouble converting the time. Also, if you bring up the Neocom on the bottom left in Dust, it displays EVE time (UTC time). It also shows in the timestamps in chat too.

What type of booster do you need to activate to get to the bonus sp? An active booster or an omega booster?
- If you activate an active (3 day) booster will you only get an extra 500,000 SP?
- And if you activate an omega booster you get an extra 1 million SP?
Can you activate both booster and get an extra 1.5 million SP? Any help and clarification is much appreciated.

Are we going to get for example 50%/100% more SP if we had a active SP booster on like during the last 1 million clone event? Which means we could either get 1,5 million SP or 2million SP depending which SP booster we plugged in.

I agree with the sentiment... But you spelled dumb wrong, which made it funny in an ironic sense.
Also to everyone else, a simple google search of 'timezone' to 'timezone' will tell you when anything is... Only thing that bugs me is when someone says 'Eve time' then you search around to find out what the heck the fictional universe time is, before discovering someone could have just said UTC. |

I live in Montana as well :)
I won't be participating for the event. Too many things to do in Destiny to bother with this event. Also I'm sitting with over 50m sp so the event isn't needed for anything.

So I didn't see this answered, and I hope I don't get f***ing crucified again.. So what if I join an Ambush, spawn in, and the match ends before I have a chance to deploy? Is that considered valid as one of my 10 matches because Scotty is a moron? Or do I have to be deployed into battle for a specific amount of time for it to count? I plan on playing well over 10 matches and dying many, many times for for the good of the community, but stuff comes up and I just want to make sure if we do hit the goal that I get my SP. I may even buy a booster for this, which will be the first real money I have spent on this game.

I should probably give some context, that day I had been dealing with a very dumb patriotic american.
Who wanted to know why america wasn't GMT+00 because there was a Greenwich in Conneticut.
After finally explaining this to him and the surrounding history, I then had to explain to him that it wasn't american's that discovered flight (wright brothers only discovered powered flight), steam power, penicillin, the internet, the jet engine, the space rocket and so on and so forth. It was safe to say I was mildly annoyed of in some cases the pure american belligerence that I decided to meet it with some of my own.

Don't worry about the people from cali. Canadians, specifically Alberta, are coming to the flathead in droves! They love this area due to Whitefish mountain resort and close proximity to glacier national park..Also duty free shopping with no taxes is a huge hit for them as well.
It's true, montana is lightly populated and is quite beautiful in many areas throughout the state. Mountain in the west and more prairie flat farm lands to the east. Please don't litter here, remember keep it beautiful!

Should we hit that magical number, then after the first million it becomes:
10 kills = 1 SP
If we hit two million, then we get a bonus to bring that 100,000 SP up to 1 Million for 2 million total. If we don't reach it and instead only hit 1.5 Mill, we get 1,050,000 SP.
After two million, should that happen (which I don't see)
20 kills = 1 SP
No bonuses, no clauses, just give us 1 SP for every 20 kills past 2 million.
If the playerbase is able to get to 2,500,000 kills in a span of 3 days, that should be worth 2 million and an extra 25,000 SP. If we hit 3 million, it's still an extra 50,000 SP, not another million.

It's a question that has no answer. Just safely assume that if you can at least get a kill or two in that match, then it counts. But regardless, I don't like this question because it gives me the impression that the person asking the question is just going to be lazy and probably only do 10 or so matches and then call it quits while expecting everyone else to pick up the slack for them to reach the goal.
When it comes to special events like this, my philosophy is to go in balls to the wall, knee-deep in bodies, no holding back, etc. until we reach the goal. Screw minimums. By the time we reach the goal, we should all have completed dozens, if not at least 100 matches per player.

Actually, there is an answer from a buddy's experience during the last MCC.
Last time, it was based off of 10 match payouts in your wallet. He had played 13 to 17 games on each of his alts, but did them in FW; he didn't get any spare points. He sent in a ticket and was told it was based off of match payouts.
To be fair, I do the minimum on my alts, as there is no reason to go balls to the wall. I'm not gonna cap on them, they're only there so I can spec things when something changes. On my main, sure, balls to the wall, he needs the SP.
If you find an issue and I stumble upon your thread, I will do my darnedest to get the issue known.

I am ready to roll! I have my basic Assault, Logi, Sentinel, and Commando suits all set up with over 100 in each of them. The most expensive fitting is like 6200 ISK and I believe the Sentinel is 4500. I'm thinking I am at about 500 suits set up and I seriously hope by the end of the weekend that is at 0. Maybe I can take a few people with me during this event so as to not COMPLETELY annihilate my KDR (Which is only about a 1 to being with) and help other people contribute to the cause for the good of everyone. :)

Be careful not to mess up.

As long as you had your booster active at some point during the event period, you will get bonus SP. We did that last time, and will do so this time as well.

Yeah CCP honestly since your not taking action against the automatic server setting glitching everyone out, i think its only fair you give us some more breathing room maybe an extra day.
I mean seriously guys... I was talking to a new player who didnt know to activate his free booster he got from battle academy before downtime this morning, because you don't even make the effort to write it on the update screen. What good is a URL we can't even click on with the PS3? This isn't EVE.
Sometimes I feel sorry for the people who don't come on the forum. For **** sake, I'm practically the only guy in my corp who regularly checks the forum and has to write corp mail about it to keep everyone up to speed. |

I believe so. It only counts if activated before downtime yesterday if I remember correctly. Do some snooping on the event forum post.

Correct. It just has to be active sometime between Friday start up and Sunday shutdown (which is Monday Morning). If you start it up Monday Morning 1 minute before the server shuts down, you would still technically get the bonus.

I only managed to complete 8 matches in my time yesterday, am I still entitled to the stretch goal of 1mil SP? I used my omega booster and all. I know I'll have 10 matches by the end of the event, but do I get the stretch goal with 8 matches?

Howdy scrubs and hackers... and Crowd Controllers, in this time of Omega Booster Frenzy, a corpie mentioned that he couldn't afford a Booster for 1 of his toons, and I just bought a few, even though he's ISK rich, and I can only stock up 5 suits at a time.
There's something missing in Dust which is the mainstay of Eve. Plex Trading, which is basically someone's money for someone's time and effort. Now that might have been circumvented with Aurum, but we can't actually trade Aurum. If it were only tradable in small increments, it would inhibit scamming from one party if they did not receive the ISK they were trading for, and I think Aurum and ISK trading would generally be through friends anyway. Apart from the 'trade scam' factor, is there anything that's holding Aurum trading from being implemented?
Ps. Please, please, please play the Dust intro just once after every downtime. It's too awesome to hide in a menu. Apart from that, everything's pretty damn good. I encourage people to try militia stuff for things they think are OP. You'll appreciate what your nemeses have to go through to shoot you down. |

This scared me a little when I saw this a few mins ago. My omega expired 13 hours ago (Was on before the downtime of the 20th like the event page said). Still worked. Awesome!
Not sure what to do with all this SP yet. Probably wait to see if there are any scout changes coming down the pipe before I skill more heavily into them. |

During this Million Clone Challenge i activate my 1-day omega buster approximately at 12:30 pm ET (Sept. 19).
The rules of the event clearly said:
"To receive the bonus skill points from an active skill booster, your active skill booster must be active before downtime on 20 September. Please note that the length of the booster does not affect the bonus, and it does not need to remain active for the full duration of the event."
Nevertheless, I got 2m SP, not a 3m.
Please check and correct this issue.
