For us who don't know Eve Time, what time exactly is 11:00 UTC 19 September to 11:00 UTC 22 September for, say, United States Eastern Standard Time? I can figure it from there.

For those of you who are too dum or full of 'American Patriotism' Greenwich is a district of London, the Capital of the soon to be no so United Kingdom. America can be anywhere from 5 to 11 hours behind, precisely how far is dependent on your location. Your ******* Welcome!
And my geography is fine, thank you. I know what Greenwich mean time is. I just hadn't heard UTC. No need to be so damned hostile about it.

So I didn't see this answered, and I hope I don't get f***ing crucified again.. So what if I join an Ambush, spawn in, and the match ends before I have a chance to deploy? Is that considered valid as one of my 10 matches because Scotty is a moron? Or do I have to be deployed into battle for a specific amount of time for it to count? I plan on playing well over 10 matches and dying many, many times for for the good of the community, but stuff comes up and I just want to make sure if we do hit the goal that I get my SP. I may even buy a booster for this, which will be the first real money I have spent on this game.

Too many things to do in Destiny to bother with this event. Also I'm sitting with over 50m sp so the event isn't needed for anything.
What part if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Billings.

And it the best state ever! LOL
That is a wonderful history lesson. Just don't give away all our secrets. We want to keep the California rejects out.
And by the way, I swear I've looked at your name a thousand times over the last few months and just recently figured out exactly what it was. At least, I believe I did. Well played sir (If I am correct at least)

Another quick question since I didn't partake in the last one. What happens if we don't reach a million clones? Lets just say we get done and we're at 941,000 or something like that? Does that mean absolutely NO bonus for anyone? It seems like the overall playerbase is quite a bit smaller which could make that number awfully difficult. If that is not the case, then disregard what I'm about to say. If it is, however, I have a proposal:
1 kill = 1 SP for the first million clones
That would make my previous theoretical number of 941,000 total clones eliminated = 941,000 SP for all particpating players. I would just hate for a lot of players to put a lot of time in only to find out we came up like 50 or 60k short so we get nothing.
Should we hit that magical number, then after the first million it becomes:
10 kills = 1 SP
If we hit two million, then we get a bonus to bring that 100,000 SP up to 1 Million for 2 million total. If we don't reach it and instead only hit 1.5 Mill, we get 1,050,000 SP.
After two million, should that happen (which I don't see)
20 kills = 1 SP
No bonuses, no clauses, just give us 1 SP for every 20 kills past 2 million.
If the playerbase is able to get to 2,500,000 kills in a span of 3 days, that should be worth 2 million and an extra 25,000 SP. If we hit 3 million, it's still an extra 50,000 SP, not another million.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. That makes sense. I do think something like I suggested would be awesome for an event. By the way, I love your signature. So true. So very, very true.

I am ready to roll! I have my basic Assault, Logi, Sentinel, and Commando suits all set up with over 100 in each of them. The most expensive fitting is like 6200 ISK and I believe the Sentinel is 4500. I'm thinking I am at about 500 suits set up and I seriously hope by the end of the weekend that is at 0. Maybe I can take a few people with me during this event so as to not COMPLETELY annihilate my KDR (Which is only about a 1 to being with) and help other people contribute to the cause for the good of everyone. :)

CCP Frame wrote:Havoc Visceris wrote:KEROSIINI-TERO wrote:501st Headstrong wrote:Protean Zero wrote:I have a noobish question.... if i have an omega booster for 1 day, when should i activate it.... on friday or saturday?
Activate it Thursday. And don't worry about asking "noobish" questions :) Ahem. Two options for 1 day omega: Thursday AFTER downtime Friday BEFORE downtime Be careful not to mess up. The moment of friday's DT is when boosters are checked, ergo booster has to be active then. According to event details: "To receive the bonus skill points from an active skill booster, your active skill booster must be active before downtime on 20 September." Based on this description, one could interpret that the active booster should be active before and during the downtime (11:00 UTC) on Sept. 20 (Saturday). If a 1-day active booster is installed BEFORE downtime (11:00 UTC) on Friday, Sept 19, then that booster will deplete before the downtime on Sept. 20 begins. If the active booster is supposed to be active DURING the downtime on Sept. 20 then that 1-day active booster should be installed AFTER the downtime on Friday, Sept 19 but BEFORE downtime on Sept. 20. I would appreciate it if one of the devs could clarify this question. As long as you had your booster active at some point during the event period, you will get bonus SP. We did that last time, and will do so this time as well.
Are you going to be on running and gunning as well?

I guess I'm okay having activated my booster after the deadline.
Correct. It just has to be active sometime between Friday start up and Sunday shutdown (which is Monday Morning). If you start it up Monday Morning 1 minute before the server shuts down, you would still technically get the bonus.
