No need to go all nationalist on the poor guy. He just wanted to know. Sheesh. Someone here needs to get laid. Yep! I should probably give some context, that day I had been dealing with a very dumb patriotic american. Who wanted to know why america wasn't GMT+00 because there was a Greenwich in Conneticut. After finally explaining this to him and the surrounding history, I then had to explain to him that it wasn't american's that discovered flight (wright brothers only discovered powered flight), steam power, penicillin, the internet, the jet engine, the space rocket and so on and so forth. It was safe to say I was mildly annoyed of in some cases the pure american belligerence that I decided to meet it with some of my own. Sorry!
