Fair for logi would be +3 points not +30 for peek&boo.
Dont even bother for your heavy to kill enemy.... just expose onself get toons of wp and hit back via OB...

i used too be a wp spammer in 1.7 i would have my gk.o logi with 967 armour W/ 3 dammods and a rail rifle while having 4 core focused rep tools on me i would kill 6-7 people and get a orb it was fun but i got alot of hate for it :P

And people complain that it is too hard to squads less then 6 people to get an orbital...
Maybe the community needs to get good?
I remember when mythtanker was still green in his dust career and giving him some much needed heavy advise as he tended to expose himself in very bad situations. I'm glad he has improved his heavy skills and is budding into a talented heavy, better then most I've come across!

Also, R-9s? Why not the N/11 (I think that's what it is. The Advanced Flux Uplink)?

Another in a long line of excellent videos, Sax. Thanks again for sharing. Two points:
#1 - There is no better WP farm than a protracted fight in an enclosed space in domination.
#2 - Just wait until you get the dual beam repper...you might manage 3 orbitals!

What stupid post. Not everyone runs a WP whoring squad. Some people get on for a few minutes, playing with assaults, scouts or commando, you know.

I think that's been a pretty well ignored issue that WP is too easily awarded for loging. Why would two seconds of repping = a kill assist?
When people abuse it, it is absolutely broken. I've had games where a squad of logis did nothing but spam equipment and damage themselves with grenades in our red line. They wracked up 4500-5500 LP each dropped a couple of useless orbitals and made off with all of our teams isk payout thanks to broken mechanics.
It can be disheartening that the game pays lously for the grunts actually killing and holding objectives, unless they also logi spam. |

Just look at this situation. 72WP points for reviving guy, and he is not on full hp. So Logi can extract even more WP from him 30-60 more at least. And ask yourself how many points did get guy who killed him - 50? Where is sens of killing someone if you reward opposite team with free orbitals because of it?
War Points mechanic is too old, and need to be balanced somehow in future.

As a dedicated heavy since launch of chromosome, I know what its like to never generate wp compared to other classes. It wasn't until the introduction of vehicle damage/wp gain where a heavy could actually generate a wp income to rival what a logi can with minimal effort.
Still, any class with an equipment slot can still generate enough wp to get an orbital while working together to help each other. Even if someone isn't skilled into a particular piece of equipment there are militia variants that typically generate the same wp as a skilled role, with subtle differences.
If a squad doesn't communicate before a match on who will carry what for which purpose, then frankly they are doomed to fail from the get go. Which in fact is truthful that they need to get good. This is not narrow minded nor is it a stupid post.
I will end with this statement that logis are capable of generating larger amounts of wps quicker then other classes because of the amount of equipment they can carry. This is common knowledge.
