Yes. and no. here is a chart for the python builds in bravo compared to Charlie. Pythons will take 1 more Hit to kill., however the hardened Python will gain more than other builds. BUT this is balanced by the engagement window of the hardener.

Thanks for liking my new tag sexyness :). The hardened python is the tankiest fit, but limited by that hardener cooldown. You are almost a OHK to some forges when unhardened. I run the hardened fit all the time. Its the strongest for my style of hit and run and tank hunting. If that hardener is down though and you are a dead man.

I'm actually a fan of triple extenders, yes I have a long regen, but I've found as long as I stay out of range that whole time AV loses me or forgets about me before I come back. I have yet to see a significant difference in survivability between the two for my playstyle. And if I run with gunners I use one extender, one hardener and a scanner.

reading the comments I`m going to repeat the issues on both sides to make a point:
issue 1: KDR of 30/0
isseu 2: ADS are expensive
issue 3: Python vs Incumbus (with a railgun that makes sense though since Python are sheild based and railguns are AV with a slight +to sheilds).
ADS needs to be cheapened so they could be used more oftenly and AV need to take them down easily. AV (AS A ROLE) that means they get as much chances to be used as a role as a dropship pilot THEY ARE BOTH ROLES no more "oh a vehicle, wheres a depot I need to switch for a few moments" or a "well I lost to much cash gonna have to use starter fits for a few battles" would you play a logi only when a depot was close and some one was downed? with the combonation of both AV shooting down ADS/DS and getting more vehcile encounters they fluorish as a role and get the deserved SP returns while ADS get to be played as a role (becuse it is one).
issues to get through:
pilots biggest issue are the dumb stuff like bolases, magnitism to street lights, landing gear etc, thoose aren`t going to get fixed anytime soon and with AV suggesting to be stronger above the cash drop is important but another issue is, how effective is the AV, I want AV don`t get me wrong but not to the point where a ADS can`t do its job either, if instead of boosting AV and G2A only AV would be a good salution since it makes AV able to take down ADS/DS as a tool to a role without boosting all AV (which to note couses problems to other vehicles everytime) while thoose fonny AV can puch back ADS but not effectivly so ADS can get it good enough.
so that means: new suggested G2A AV weapon super effective against ADS/DS to allow: ADS/DA to be used offtenly, to be killed offtenly, to be usefull often enough, both roles are happy and both roles are roles, no more non-sense. |

My OP was asking if the ISK reduction was coming. Just makes it hard for new pilots.
But imo. The regen of vehicles is too much ( armor shield ). I go one on one we a ADS and throw 5-6 volleys to nearly kill them. They go outside my range for 10-15 secs and come back. By that time my ammo and nanites are going to ****.

DS/ADS use light modules along with LAVs which mean even if you use armor and not sheilds you are still more of a hit and run, DS/ADS being meduim class vehicles gives them some flexibility but unlike tanks their modules arn`t built for take the hits hold your ground, 10-15 seconds is enough in GT also to note their are skill that speed up sheilds reaction time along with a ton of other passive skills that make single roled pilot advantages that are effective if used into combat. this is also why some good pilots get shot down because the load-outs just don`t match up well (which is good). |

it happened in mordus private trials which was a couple months after skirm 1.0
i rememeber because i would get pissed at my gunners and they would reply, "But i'm getting WP"
also there was a guy famous for repping the MCC with a dropship

I just got out a game and lost 1500 shield to a small blaster turrent on a standard ADS imagine what the skill will do to pythons plus the buff? people need to stfu and stop specing into the FG and SL and get some damn vehicle command points

I'm saying anything hostile towards you. I'm just saying if this happened it could help all parties considering some of the haters of snipers, ADS pilots always saying that if you want to counter an ADS without having to sync or coordinate forge and swarm shots just to kill ONE ADS to learn and pilot your own and practice your Incubus DS ramming...
As said b***h or fake snipers might just switch all together to go turn to some other FOTM or crutch or cope out in the game leaving real snipers to show how the job truly should done in the field.

AV does tear apart dropships but when people use swarms (-20 shields/+20) armor against shield dropships who have natural extra 20% resistance to missiles (I think) they are going to have a tough time. It's like facing a tanked amarr sentinel with a ScR or tanked caldari heavy with a rail rifle. ( I know it's a bad example because most armor damaging weapons still rip shields like crazy and are OP).
Also, railguns are suppose to do more damage to armor than shield.
Litrally a militia swarmer can chase away an assault dropships for the whole match. My Ishukone forgegun can down an assault dropships no problem.

The only damage multiplier for swarms of all types against shield dropships is 0.8. This applies to all dropship shields. No dropships has a 0.6 multiplier against shields.

What is strange to me is that the Python is the only bird I find difficult to kill. All the others seemed to need the buff. I only know the story from an AV perspective but it seems off to me. I also don't know why there is no price change, that was widely asked for from all sides.
