Good point, I guess all the proto scouts I see going 40+ and 0 should pay half a million ISK for every fitting as well...or maybe we don't try to justify price according to KDR...just a thought.

Maybe we shouldn't decide price by KDR, but it is important in determining balance. Any one player having a particularly high or low KDR reflects in that person, but the average of ALL players using that fit show if it is the fit or the player. If it is the fit, then there is a problem. Now what do you think the average KDR is for Python pilots? I think it is much higher than most other fits. If you think that KDR shouldn't determine price do you agree that price shouldn't determine KDR? So why the buff to shields again? 500 shields will have minimal effect on survivability. And though the best pilots can easily go 30/0, I don't see people manage it often. I'd be surprised if the average kills across the board are higher than 20, as for deaths, most of us run ground after we lose one ADS in a match so it probably goes up significantly.
I concur that price should not determine KDR though. I'd love to see CCP statistics on ADS kills versus deaths, but they'd only be able to track ADS destruction most likely, not whether the pilot was killed in it.

Mejt0 wrote:ADS are ADV vehicles. Thats why they cost only 300k. Yes. They are cheap. You can get out from AVs with afterburner. No big deal.
But you guys know that driving in tanks is more expensive? They cost same as fited ADS but they are wrecked 3x time easier. I couldn't stop laughing, thanks for that.

Pythons will take 1 more Hit to kill., however the hardened Python will gain more than other builds. BUT this is balanced by the engagement window of the hardener. I wish the graphics weren't blurry on my phone. Yes the hardened Python gets a significant boost from this, but unhardened EHP doesn't reach the HP of a hardened Python in bravo. And personally, not all my fittings have hardeners, I actually see quite a few people running without them.
A lot of others seem to forget though that shield regen rate is not changing, this means slightly longer disengagement to regen shields as well.
Edit: that tag is sexy though ;)

Edit: that tag is sexy though ;) Thanks for liking my new tag sexyness :). The hardened python is the tankiest fit, but limited by that hardener cooldown. You are almost a OHK to some forges when unhardened. I run the hardened fit all the time. Its the strongest for my style of hit and run and tank hunting. If that hardener is down though and you are a dead man. I'm actually a fan of triple extenders, yes I have a long regen, but I've found as long as I stay out of range that whole time AV loses me or forgets about me before I come back. I have yet to see a significant difference in survivability between the two for my playstyle. And if I run with gunners I use one extender, one hardener and a scanner.

Oh, and give the ADS a cloak and make them almost unscannable and silent, ok, where do I sign the petition! I'll be a flying scout, just what I've always wanted. Thanks for the suggestions.
