Possibly a formula that will cause a reaction not healthy, leading to a change later on. This shouldnt be band aid for the problem pilots have with the collision damage discussion. I hope that isnt the motivation for it.

The 500 shield boost is huge and simply shouldn't happen I have expressed my stance on this clearly, it makes the eHP gap too small, between shields and armour, it's also a 25% (or there abouts) buf to the pythons base ehp and simply isn't necessary.
The price drop is a good thing it will allow pilots to make a profit.
If you don't like them get and advanced swarm launcher and blast them out of the sky.

Only if the guys on the ground are total morons. Any decent player who got killed by a ADS will either get a forgegun or if you are really unlucky he will call in a incubus and chase the python with a small rail. And the 500 extra shields mean that i will take 1 1/2 more small rail projectiles more.

Maybe we shouldn't decide price by KDR, but it is important in determining balance. Any one player having a particularly high or low KDR reflects in that person, but the average of ALL players using that fit show if it is the fit or the player. If it is the fit, then there is a problem.
Now what do you think the average KDR is for Python pilots? I think it is much higher than most other fits. If you think that KDR shouldn't determine price do you agree that price shouldn't determine KDR? So why the buff to shields again?

Literally never seen that happen during my game.3 easy shots from my ishukone can drop any ADS dead unless it's a super tanked incubis with terrible repair rate.

HAHA who says im going to fly vs ANOTHER dropship, im not that skilled. If there are enemy dropships i use AV, if there are not,then i use the ADS. XD
( i still suck heavily but i managed to kill 3 dudes and 2 uplinks and scare the **** out of a tank in day 1 XD)
PS:Rail turrets hurt.

Scouts? Yes, they need a price increase to pay for that speed increase.
The top of every leaderboard I've played the past few weeks has almost consistently been Scouts... in the top 4 slots.

You can get out from AVs with afterburner. No big deal.

500 shields will have minimal effect on survivability. And though the best pilots can easily go 30/0, I don't see people manage it often. I'd be surprised if the average kills across the board are higher than 20, as for deaths, most of us run ground after we lose one ADS in a match so it probably goes up significantly.
I concur that price should not determine KDR though. I'd love to see CCP statistics on ADS kills versus deaths, but they'd only be able to track ADS destruction most likely, not whether the pilot was killed in it.
