This is why nearly every scout has gone and got a Sentinel proto suit. We have to protect ourselves from the morons on the forums who would rather nerf.. Then buff things. Or want to Nerf a class while buffing a class and think their won't be direct unintended consequences.

In general I believe if the skills are drastically changed of a certain suit one deserves a respec. i skilled in the Cal scout for its precision to pick up the good Gal scout players. Read players not suit. If this changes, I dont have the suit I put my sp in so a respec is in place. Same goes for Amarr logi players, they skilled into that suit because it has a sidearm. Take that away and they dont have what the specifically skilled into, so a respec is in place. Lets not hate on suits, try to be realistic about it.

I think everytime someone says FOTM in a post (after mine of course) they should get hit in the face with a 2x4. What do people expect? If something is good you are a damn fool for not specing into it.

Best Assault scout is Amarr and Gal hands down , stamina and stacking compared to not being able to tank at all and having to sacrifice so much from one's self to be functional because trying to just flat out assault , will leave you flat out dead . You have to place rangers , amps and dampeners on that suit to be efficient unless your using proto and still even so . You just can't slug it out in a Cal scout and if you do your using SG's and CR's and that says a lot right there . A lot specked into that role to see and that's it but it seems like that's a problem to most but it's not a problem to dampen to be invisible and still be able to self-rep and tank some what and choose rangers so you can see if you choose to use Gal and Amarr or kin cats if you want to sprint fast . You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

This change is only going to be good for the Amarr and Gal scouts. The Amarr scout is going to be a worse 'OP' suit for everyone above 18db because it has better base stats that the Cal (except that pimpass shield regen) and more lows to stack dampeners, plates, range amps, kinkats, etc. This will put the Gal scout back in the invisible with only 2 complex dampeners instead of the 3 it would need to get away from the Cal because the Amarr only has two highs. Mark my words, your going to miss having the Cal scout hunters around, because now nothing is going to keep the Gal Scout in check, and the Amarr is going to be worse to deal with for everyone else. I don't mind balancing because this game needs it. It just needs to be balanced appropriately so there isn't this endless cycle we have now.
