They have huge built in speed advantages, stealth built in, 2 equipment slots allows them to compete in the logi realm.
Use a shotgun with a cloak and you can sneak up on almost anyone.
The scout is the best suit in the game way better than assaults or heavies. |

Yes commandos seem to have a good place. Still a scout is gonna instance GiB a command in most situations except sniping or long range gunning. |

Here's an interesting thought.
Give all scout suits a built in basic cloak, and then remove the extra pg/CPU used to fit that basic cloak, along with the extra equipment slot.
Calmanndo user with nova knives: Because someone has to do it.

Hello, a scout is supposed to have these advantages over other suit types. They're supposed to be the get in 'n get out type, and if needed improvise on the go.

Now the trend is to run in two or threes. When your buddy decloaks i n front of the guy your other two flank behind and pop.
None of which shows up on the poor saps radar. It was fun for awhile now it just seems cheap. |

That is perfect. I usually use only one anyway cause I'm so used to using one. But proto suits should have two. Just proto.
Very simple, if you fit a cloak, take away the ability to fit a shotgun. BOOM! No more f@gs and sh!ttons of crying QQ mothereffers!

Get rid of the Cloak, the extra equip, and give me back my old dampening bonus.
It's bogus that I have to run 2x-3x Damp Min Scout just to survive in PC. I'd like to run some speed or hack, but I'm forced to run nothing but DAMP DAMP DAMP

Cloaks are good to covering open ground.
Shotguns are good at very short distances.
The synergy between the two isnt that great considering radar is only 10m for most so you wouldn't see another medium suit on your six until it was too late either.
Cloaks are good for avoiding other scouts, and allowing a delayed annoucned alpha shot. They aren't great for a sustained fight but that works for most scouts.
2 equipment slots allows scouts to be scouts. Uplinks, nanohives, REs are all tools of the trade. A lot of scouting isn't just shooting plebs in the back ya know.

my minmitar logi kills lots of scouts... and I can have up to 4 slots making me a better logi... and more ehp....and ive never seen a skilled heavy with logi in tow get killed by a scout.... |

The only nerf scouts need is to CPU turned down and for cloaks to not be gamebreaking good anymore.
The shotgun should be stupid deadly, it has a range of like 6 feet. Don't get caught in CQC and if you do learn to keep your back to the wall or to a friend. |

The Amarr scout bonus is like the old Amarr sentinel bonus. No one needed 25% reduction to overheat damage on a heavy;_;

I'm going to guess that you see gallente and caldari.How about stop being a wimp,the problem is not using enhancers,advance works and throw in a complex to be sure.2 is a to all you need to see them.Of course I only use one advance,if they use dampers add another one instead of you regular fitting.You bad gamer,ps all I see is caldari with combat rifle.
