The anti Caldari Scout wagon. People are starting to hate heavies and it's not your fault!
It's Caldari Scouts providing super scanning powers to you, basically turning you into a fat scout(TM)
So turn the spot light to where it belongs, the Caldari scout.

I'd rather have reasonable discussions about balance, and the myriad of factors that influence it; rather than look for a scapegoat.
Yeah. This minotaur is weird, because normally, we are attracted to wagons.

I've tried. People listened, but Rattati basically ignored it.
I think his stance was "let's see how the range nerf goes first" because they want to see how small changes affect Dust over time.

HMG is actually fine, at best mag and heat build up need some changes. Otherwise.... well its a goddamn HMG! It should be powerful.

They just need to tone down the heavys turn speed, then they may be balanced. Maybe an exception for minheavies.

Why is everyone saying this.
Were none of you around before when scouts just ran straight past heavies and shot them in the back? Turn speed is not the way to balance. Why? because we have controller and kb/m in this game. A turn speed reduction only further increases the advantage of kb/m + scout and breaks this so called balance even worse.
Some increased damage fall off would be a good start imho. This would also make the assault hmg a more viable variation as right now it really does not out distance the hmg enough to make it worth switching too.

Not the point,Im just saying the minmatar have the fastest dropsuits so wouldnt it make sense if the minmatar heavys didnt get penalised by it?

So you are arbitrarily deciding that one single dropsuit of one single class should be exempt of penalties because of the fallacious statement "Minmatar are fast".
The might be fast but they aren't the fastest.
Each class should be built like each class is designed to be played, not based of racial stereo types.

But the Amarr are considered the slowest, yet display the capacity to build things that are faster then something the Minmatar might design.
Don't you think all the factions would have the capacity to build a Sentinel with a turning speed on par with the Minmatar.
More over how do you justify that as a fair gameplay mechanic?

Nerf to turning speed was already tried, and it sucked, which is why CCP removed it. The HMG is in a good place right now. Maybe, if anything, a very slight reduction to effective range. That's it.
Why is everybody acting lately like HMG is god-mode? It's not, by any stretch of the imagination. Did the forums just run out of things to ***** about, so now it's heavies again?

Slaves don't get combat worthy suits hence CCP's design decision to make Min suits significantly worse than the others.
