This is because the shield regen is quite dismal atm (of course this is disregarding racial weapon bonus) Why is gallente 2. And with shield recharger how would these shake down? And how would these shake down if you ran rr and shotty? The armour tanks are top because they can take some hits and live(plus with a compact hive or logi, they are unstoppable)...the shield tanks are last because the shield recharge is brutal, however, if you setup each commando properly, you can easily take out every other commando.
EDIT: if you have each one a shield recharger and played to each suits weapon bonuses I would say
1.Amarr 2.Caldari (slightly worse than the amarr commando) 3.Minmatar 4.Gallente

Yeah I stay at a distance anyway. 10% to the RR is hard for me to ignore. I think I'm going to try it out with calmando. Once those skill points are plugged in though there is no going back

Had an awesome Dual with a galmando.
We spotted each other way out and we started raking each other shields down. We both started moving towards each other realizing we needed to get closer and better footing.
We lost sight of each other as we started weaving through buildings and other obstacles. I gained elevation as he lost some
I watched him pick off a teammate as I also defended myself against a red berry. Un phased we started to charge each other. We both whipped out shotguns at almost the same time.
As we both unloaded our shotties. We both reload. And take shots one at a time reloading one she'll after each shot while we both circle each other. My teammate stood by without interfering as I landed the kill shot.
Teammate said. "That was ******* rad" before running off.
I'm having so much fun with this game lately I can't imagine it going away

I found a Kin Kat tanked Galmando the other day. I was trying to rep him with my logi and he left me in the dust even when I sprinted after him

ive done 46/11/5 with proto cal cmdo, RR and ARR
i can pull 20/3 in just a std cal cmdo suit with RR and tactical sniper rifle. i love it, just keep range. |

I have lvl 5 amarr commando.
But I love the Proto Imperial Amarr Commando better. (2 light weapons, 1 side arm, a glitch or bug) I equip a proto specialist shotgun, adv smg, and proto assault scrambler rifle.
If that gets fixed, my favourite will be ISK proto armar commando with proto assault scrambler rifle and proto specialist shotgun.
Edit: With prot dmg mod and commando skills with lvl 3 reload and proficency skills. |

I'm more afraid of your minmatar fit. I started to run the gallente commando recently and people underestimate even a GEK. A MD would tear me up though so I'll have to say you would scare me haha |

Funny that I use one. They are the worst, 100 percent.
Minny mandoes are really tough to take down because of that damp ACR and kincats make them crazy quick. I can only beat them if they whip out any other weapon besides the CR or if my PLC round hits close to home(I run Gal Commando btw)

There actually isn't a commando that immediately makes me think 'Oh ****' more than any of the others. They all seem to have some decent features to them. I like it. It's probably one of the more balanced classes.

I run Caldari with a Balac's and an ACR. Imperial Commando AK.0 though. 2 light weapons and a sidearm in the description. Hilarious, really.
It's a shame I don't miss. Your proto suit looked nice.
