Here is the real meaning.
We are the first gen clones.
We are writing on the walls, we are the failed experiment and the crazy ones. The forums are the walls, we are the clones and the PS3 game is just the first gen clones getting weeded out till the second gen (Legion) comes out. It has been the master plan all along.

I always thought that the 5 was a reference to the five major races (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar and Jovian)
The 1 was an evil entity that had been created in the collective conscience of the sleeping Jovians and had found out how to take control of people that had the implants that allowed the transfer of consciences.
and the 4 was a reference to how the Jovians were essentially slaves to this entity, but the four (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente and Minmatar) are still left to decide the future of the human race.
Also, Empress Jamyl's cloning process didn't go perfectly and she seems to have some sort of alternate personality lurking behind her mind. Is this the evil entity trying to take control of the Eve Universe using the Empress?
