I'll support it in the sense that I'll probably stick around the forums and try to help shape it. I don't know if I'll get to play it, though (not a PC gamer). That is unless they continue to lock themselves away like they did with Dust. |

Support. You'd only be shooting this game or Legion's chance at a re-release on a current gen console if you continue the backlash. PS3 technology is dated and Sony plans on only having games developed on it for the next 1-2 years or so, which should give people plenty of time to transition to the PS4. More games and features will be released for the consoles as well as possible price drops on consoles.

CCP saw they couldn't compete their wishes on the PS3 or any PS product and that together with their wishes regarding merging their entire univers they saw the PC as a platform more fit for dust. People gotta get their objective glasses on and see what they would have done in this situation.
This also means ccp gotta do bigger things with legion than dust. Can't be to hard..... |

It was never in question that Dust had to evolve for it to survive. It's not like EVE on a PC where it can upgrade as technology does, but now it can be. The problem remains in the ethical department. Them milking the money out of us right before this thing, not announcing it sooner, announcing it at fanfest, ******* the people who flew to fanfest over, ******* our years of hard work over, lying to us, not bringing anything new for Dust 514. Add that on top of all the idiocies they had before this mess.
But on top of that, I support legion. Whether I'll play it is a different question.

Even if I wanted to buy a gaming rig to play Legion, based solely on the way CCP handled this over the last 6 months, I would never buy or support ANYTHING CCP does from this point on. I would go so far as to try and talk any people I know out of giving them even a moments passing thought.

Logically this was the next step, eventually we were going to have to buy into new platforms, either the PS4 or the PC, and looking objectively at the two platforms and bearing in mind I have been for the entirety of the gaming time a console supporter, the correct choice is the PC.
Fortunately for me I have both my laptop and PS3 at the end of their life times, I could with relative ease have a gaming PC built for me, and still choose to purchase a PS4..... so I think, only think, that I will transition to Legion, and continue to support CCP, provising they make some serious advances and considerations for their players.
However currently I cannot support CCP for the absolutely atrocious treatment of their player base. fans, etc.
Still that doesn't mean I am not intensely bitter about the underhanded way CCP scammed us out of our money in the last few months with booster events, with promises of Fanfest being our answer to all of DUST's problems, all the while advancing characters that were in all likelihood were to be shoved to the side and forgotten by upset fans.

Does the phrase "We have been sold a bill of goods" mean anything to you. You've been given some vague statements about what might or might not be from a company that just had two projects that fell through and did it about as badly as it could be done.
You talk about Legion like it is something that exists and we just have to decide if we will play it or not. It is a pipe dream and a distraction to focus the player base on what might be instead of what is.
You can take that as a yes or a no, I don't care.
Because, that's why.

I support legion since it is FTP and looks good. but I wont be playing until a PS4 release, and to be honest because of this there is no reason to play dust. im console gamer really. please release ps4 controller support for PC and im happy.
