I support it if a team other then CCP Shanghai are working on it, or atleast Shanghai not being the lead developers of it.
UNLESS they can prove in the next few months they can be good developers by listening to the CPM, announcing plans for dust for the next few months.
The people that think dust was going to become anything on ps3 after the last 2 years are ignorant. |

There is now obviously a touch of bad blood between those staying and those leaving, as we all know, but those who stay as well as those who come to the game in the future would do well to know and remember what has happened here this weekend. Unfortunately, those of us leaving will be unable tell of our plight far into the future, and that responsibility falls on the shoulders of those who stay. We all know what the other guy went through in game, from build to build, we all know the highs, we all know the lows. We all met people we absolutely hated, and people who would become close friends. Many of us are from MAG, and many of us are waiting for the home we MAG vets deserve. Some thought they had found it, some still think they have. All I would ask is that our story isn't forgotten, isn't smeared with propoganda and turned into some kind of war that some won and some lost. Because nobody won this weekend. If Legion goes on to be a massive success and everything Dust wasn't, this weekend is still an awful black mark in the games history.
I would at least like to see the biomass thread linked in somehow to the OP. I understand not wanting to put words in peoples mouths, but the information is relevant to this thread. As i've said, we can't preserve our story, only those who stay can.
Because we haven't forgot what America wants. An overpriced piece of sh°t that goes fast and gets you a lot of p°ssy.

Assuming there will be Asset transfer (or equivalent exchange) from Dust (specifically BPO's and rare items) - I support Legion.
I do sincerely hope that they release a Ps4 version too so all the console-only players are taken care of in the best way possible, since it has been them who have put it with "Dust Beta Testing" for the last few years.
-however-
I, like many, feel that CCP have handled this incredibly badly. The way it announced has been appalling and I feel extremely let down by CCP as a company - not because they are moving from Ps3 - but because of the insensitivity they have shown towards a very loyal fanbase.
Therefore, I am deeply torn.
I have played EvE since 2004 - just after it was launched, I joined Dust because I supported CCP and love the EvE universe and wanted to experience another aspect of it (even though I'm a terrible merc, it's been fun), and I was enticed by the idea of two different games linked by economy and battles etc.
After this though, I'm honestly unsure whether I can continue to support (pay for, talk about, spend time playing) CCP games (Legion, EvE, Valkyrie). Since this does seem to be unusually insensitive and badly handled (even for CCP).

They have no idea what they are doing. The restricted hardware of PS3 explains only a small part of the problems we had in DUST 514. Remember how often bugs and network or FPS issues have been re-introduced after being fixed in earlier patches? Remember the many game-breaking mechanics they came up with last-minute? Balancing issues that haven't been fixed for months. How dull and boring the game modes became?
Porting the game to PC, will change nothing in the lack of software engineering skills of CCP Shanghai and the many bad game design decisions they like to make.
So, don't get your hopes up, PC gamers. Again we hear all the same tantalizing visions and the bold promises, they are going to break. Legion is just the next sad chapter in this tragedy of a game development.

I support it but the way CCP handled it was f*cked up.
If you have an established playerbase and you don't even bother to ensure their achievements will be recognised in the next game then you're pretty sh*t at managing your community. |

I love the idea, but they need to give us something tangible, they need to stop using the word "if"
They have to decide what they're going to do, if they want to build Legion, go fully towards Legion, develop it as much as they can and do a combined release on PC and Ps4, they have to release on Ps4 the same time they do the PC.

they should just hurry up because seeing the game I play on a daily basis on life support is very depressing

I'm going to go ahead and support Project Legion. CCP's decision to use the PC as the platform for EVE mercenaries is only logical and makes sense in every way. That said, I'm still smarting from the way they handled it's reveal.
I support the obvious abuse of flawed game mechanics to force CCP to fix them. Nothing else seems to work.
