When I buy a specific model of a car, I still can keep using it, even after the car company doesn't make that specific model anymore. I can still go out and drive it. When Dust closes down, I will be left with ZERO, my Aurum used in boosters and everything will mean NO-TH-ING. All of the money I put into it will simply be "gone". I can see the handwriting on the wall, and I should've seen it a long time ago when it took CCP 3 months to put out 1.8 and another fricken month to fix the skills/forge gun bug. Always the last person to leave. Always the one cleaning up people's messes.

There's a difference between a console game with a full singleplayer campaign eventually getting old and a new one being announced, and a MMO that pulls a "BUY ORIGIN PACKS FOR THE EVENT YOU'RE GOING TO TOTALLY LOVE THE NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS WE'RE MAKING FOR ITS FUTURE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS" and then pulling a bait and switch where they basically just say 'you're not getting any new content, we're dropping support for the platform that you invested your time and money into and we probably won't be able to transfer any of the stuff you currently have to the other platform". Mass Effect 3 I only spent $20-30 as i recall, and I pretty much consider it money well spent. DUST 514 I've spent $60. Thank you so much CCP for teaching me that microtransactions are a mistake. Yup, why would you pull the plug on Dust514 by releasing this information so early. If this was the plan, you hide it as long as possible to prevent a mass exodus from Dust as to prolong your $$ gains. CCP knew dust would react negatively to this information, but how are you not upset?
