well to start out it is a scout so it gets all that the class provides: speed, low sig, high precision, 50% longer base scan range, the smallest hitbox and can cloak viably. it has the same slot layout as a Gal scout with more CPU allowing for more divers fits and has higher base armor.
it's not out of the realm of possibility for it to get under the raider of a cal scouts p scan. one complex damp and a cloak lets it beat a triple precision cal.
you can show me all the charts and graphs you want, but you're under selling the stamina bonus. max kin cats and feroscale plates work like a charm for me.
IDK it's whatever you can make out of it. out of all the scouts it is the best for straight combat combat. think of it as a slightly weaker assault with two equipment slots.

5% ScP is useless *and* unnecessary. It doesn't define the scouts role like it does with the min scout which is an assassin first and an infiltrator second.
The dampening bonus and a scan range on the gallente scout make it an infiltrator capable of picking its fights.
The precision and range on the cal scout make it an anti-scout.
Stam, Stan recharge and ScP rof make the amarr scout what? A confused little hunchback?
Part of what needs to be done with scouts is that they *need* their stamina/recharge nerfed (especially the min scout, which could still have the lowest recharge at say 7-8 seconds but without much total stamina).

What I'm saying is either drop the stamina pool or the recharge bonus while keeping the other then giving it another bonus such as resistance or a weapon ROF bonus since it seems the Amarr scout is simply a light assault.

What I am saying is that comparatively to the other scout suits, the Amarr Scout is complete and utter terribad garbage TRASH.

range is an alright bonus
maybe a bonus to rep modules (but its not a ewar bonus)
maybe a bonus to armor (again not ewar and would provoke tanking)

I like the Amarr Scout, Kincats a armor rep and two damage mods in the highs. Stealth death dealing machine with the srambler riffle. Just don't run in a group and keep on running... the key is to keep on running and never stop.

Amarr bonus: 10% bonus to repair and HP value of reactive armor plates per level.
Reactive plate stats with level 5 amarr scout skill (without lvl 5 armor plates skill): STD - 37.5 hp // 1.5 hp/s ENH - 60 hp // 1.5 hp/s CPLX - 90 hp // 3 hp/s

Since it is apparent the Amarr scout is really an assault suit in disguise, my proposed bonus is a weapon ROF bonus.
Well I see why this bonus seems underwhelming but its not THAT bad. Sure you won't be able to run faster (or reach any position faster by default) but there still uses for a high stamina.
Even if you are slower than other scouts you can run longer and jump more often which can be quite useful. Also the suit itself is not that bad.
You have a similar flexibility like the gallente suit. But all in all I would agree that a better bonus could be in place, I would like something that emphases on the amarr philosophy.
Instead of the stamina bonus for me acceptable would be: 2 % more rof to ScP or 2% more damage to ScP (or laser based sidearms) 5 % CPU/PG reduction to plates 2% armor plate efficacy |

Hmm as active tanking is more of a gallente thing I am not sure if this is a good way to buff the amarr but may be a bonus to ferroscales? This would allow to have moderate tank with acceptable speed... |

How about they keep their current bonus, minmatar lose a massive chunk out of their ridiculous stamina recharge that is entirely unnecessary (if CCP want min scouts to be able to endlessly melee and/or jump, they should just reduce the stamina reqs on those things), and here's my little bonus buff for amarr... lower scan profile for all deployed equipment.
Okay, so only really useful for sneaky uplink placement but also could be good for snipers or just hiding a cheeky nanohive near an enemy point or for supplying snipers without giving their positions away.
Dedicated sidearm scout - Watch out for that headshot
