Try not stacking armor plates if you want to jump over things, or not running a heavy suit.

As a scout, I can jump over pretty much whatever I want. It's a good advantage for light suits.

As les armor you have the more mobility you have. Dosen't meter what suite it is. Gallente heavies full plates can't jump 10cm.

Of course it's ******** that you can get stuck on something that should be as simple to traverse as bending your knee 90-¦ to pick up your foot.

I think I know what map this guy is talking about. It is the one that has a large complex with a massive artillery cannon at the center. If you use the CRU inside the complex you have a chance of spawning on top of this insurmountable fence that's a whopping one foot high. The only way to get off is by killing yourself or by spawning with a smaller suit then making a mad dash to the supply depot.

And where is our charge jump that takes more stamina for a proportionally increase jump height? Would solve this problem, might leave heavies panting though.

Think of it this way. The gravity of the planetoids our clones are stomping on have variable g-force indexes. However, our dropsuits automatically regulate our movements to simulate walking on a planet with only 1G pressing down on us. With this in mind, that 6-inch (12-13cm) is a tremendous amount of work for our suits to overcome, requiring the short hop. It is horribly inefficient, ma questa e la vita.

Think if they introduced low-gravity gameplay. Heavies hopping 10m/s instead stomping ~3m/s...

Jumping over some things can be an issue. Like when you are trying to NK someone that runs faster than you walk yet is much slower than you run. If you miss time your jump, all you are doing is saying, "Here I am!! Shoot me!!"

And yet I can't jump high enough to jump over a lazy LAV driver who is too lazy to even get out and gun me down.

Holy **** that would be awesome actually!

Similar to the Cloak, you activate the boots and get a jump based on the suit, stamina and the cycle time of the module.
