This isn't beta. Calling it beta doesn't make it beta. EVERYTHING OVER VERSION 1.0 is never going to be Beta.
It is either Alpha because they keep adding features (since by definition Beta is for ONLY FIXING BUGS) or it is Gold with maintenance. This cannot currently be considered Beta. Any employee at CCP that calls this Beta is literally a ******* idiot. It would be an insult to my life in IT and many other very skilled developers in both the game industry and outside of it. It would explain why there are so many issues with the game. The issues start with an incorrect understanding of SDLC similar models for Game Development.
I like to think they are in Gold/Master Production and running maintenance. That is typical for MMO's. |

I heard a rumour that CCP are stopping development of Dust on PS4 and are going to re-release it for the Raspberry Pi instead. It won't have the graphics capability to support shooting bullets though, so mercs will hit each other with lettuce leaves instead.

Nah, they gave that up awhile ago, CCP's new goals for DUST is to convert it to a point and click game using Facebook-« that only allows you to play certain amounts of games unless you invite friends.
