Okay, I'm getting pretty sick of this forum meme of "brick scouts nerfed themselves". They're not stupid or gimped, they just fill a very different role than ewar scouts. If you can't see that, you're blind. Yes, ewar scouts are basically the hard counter to bricked scouts, but that's the price they pay for being the ultimate assassin of heavies. Brick scouts are the heavy/medium hunters. Full ewar scouts are much less effective at bringing down, say, a tanked proto Gal sentinel- it'll take 3 SG hits minimum, possibly 4, and the HMG only needs to connect for less than half a second to shred them. In contrast, brick scouts still have plenty of ewar compared to their heavier enemies, but can soak a few stray HMG shots, giving them a much better chance of bringing down big targets, especially ones with a modicum of aim and reaction speed. The best, of course, is to strike a balance- my personal favorite is a 4x extender Cal scout with one damp and one range amp. Nerdier than thou

Just knowing where the brick tank scout, or assault, or heavy doesn't mean the scout can engage. EWAR scouts lose in all the above battles unless they can completely flank the enemy. Even then you have to kill them within 2 secs or they will turn around and destroy your measly 300hp. EWAR scouts are great but let's not act like they are the fist breaking through fortifications.

If all skills are equal a Calscout will not be able to see a GalScout regardless of how many Cpx Precision Enhancers are on. It takes 1 Cpx Profile Dampener + Cloak and Gal Scout are under EVERYONE's Radar (Including active scanners). 2 Cpx Profile Dampeners and the cloak becomes irrelevant, Gal Scout will not pop up on scans. Period. Everyone else is fair game to the CalScout (excepting other scouts who must either fill their lows with PD or cloak to avoid CalScout Scans). The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field: One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

I can see up to 80~ meters away on these suits running 2x Complex Range Amplifiers. Other Scouts it is iffy. I rely more on my eyes to spot other cloaked scouts(as it should be).
