Sometimes i find that it works really well, i do use it for hit and run, but then other times i find that i die before theres a chance to get to cover and again the real issue is it's weakness in a squad a gallente sentinel with a couple of logibros is bloody hard to put down but a caldari doesn't get that benefit, i think another high slot would be nice but it would be met with another high slit for gallente, maybe more hp on shield extenders? Nice to know that others find the caldari sentinel worthwhile though.

The caldari heavy has the highest regen rate out of all dropsuits in the game. Use 1 complex recharger and 1 energiser and you get over 70HP/s back which is alot. It is very good if you dont have logi support who follows you around to rep ya. It is very good aswell for defending objectives cause when you get shot you just have to hide for a few secs and pop back out and start fighting again. You have to remember that other heavies either need a logi to work or they have to stack armor repairs which have extreme low repair rates. For example a Gallente heavy will have only marginal more HP then the caldari when he is using 2 plates and 2 reppers.

It's a high SP suit. Just like a Min Heavy. To make them shine requires skills that many heavies could have ignored until 1.8.
Shields are a more extensive SP sink than armor. My Cal Heavy has one shield extender, two energizers, one recharger, and a regulator.
Anyway long story short, it's a great suit with the right skills. Think about using a Burst HMG and plenty of cover to deal high damage in short bursts.

Thanks thor, it's good advice already level 5 for everything except regulators, don't have proto suit yet, was unsure if it would be qorth it glad to say it looks like it will be but istill think that it's weaker in squad and not helpful for logies. |

Folks keep hitting the 1 second depleted delay, which would be fantastic if it worked. (not saying we should balance around a bug, just putting it out there) Currently if you take any armor damage default delay kicks in (yes it's tested, use yer search function.) |
