Very few people will acknowledge scouts, only cloaks, are UP because there's a history of nerf hammer being to the extreme. It's simply a matter to remove cloaks, scouts will be just fine without them.

They will then follow you and blow your brains out at close range. They make big mistakes usually. Not fitting for eWAR and running like an assault are the two main ones I noticed. Lack of situational awareness is a big one too. I followed one guy tonight just to see how long I could shadow him. I followed him clear across the map and he didn't turn around a single time... blew his brains out as he was approaching an objective lmao...

Suggestions: Do scouts really need two equipment slots? Do they really need a side arm as well as a light weapon? Do they really need grenades as well? I would suggest removing the bonuses to scanning and adding a bonus to scanning modules, so if people want to brick tank they trade it for scan dampening, precision and range.

For something to be overpowered, it needs to be effective with little effort. Scouts actually take a good deal of situational awareness and effort to be effective. It's just more common to see people put a lot of effort into a scout, because it's much easier to die otherwise. If people put as much thought into playing as heavies and mediums as they do scouts, they would be more effective too. I am your scan error.
