Nothing wrong with cloaks. Just a slight animation tweak when your firing on a cloaked person that happens to make the cloak obscured and easy to escape with when you hit them. This would fix my biggest issue. I dont even care that shotguns can fire and cloak before the cloak wears off...its a shotgun, your dead anyway with those at point blank.

There is nothing to Fix, except for the bug that allows cloaked players to shoot while remaining cloaked. |

#1 would be a nice change. It would make cloak more about using it strategically instead of being able to cloak in and cloak out in succession. You would have to think about the best moment to deactivate it if it were to have a cooldown.

It's only been a couple of days I'm already finding the QQ irritating.
Just remove cloaks and change scout role bonus to either:
1) reduction to electronic and biotic mods.
2) profile reduction (possibly changing gal-scouts bonus to something else).
Good scouts wi carry on murdering people and all the people who feel they shouldn't need situational awareness lose their strawman to ***** about.

To be fair. I think there are two things that could be done
1) Flux grenades disrupt Cloaks 2) Shooting a cloaked individual DOES NOT deactivate the Cloak, HOWEVER makes them more visible. (Think Predator movies-- When the Predator takes damage his cloak goes kind of haywire a bit.)

the kill takes about 6-8 seconds if you are good and you're only cloaked for the first 2 at most.
speed up the decloak animation and all will be right with the world. if you're doing it right then you're shooting the in the back and they wont see you anyway...

I'd say, for my picks:
* Instant cloak deactivation * Fix the infinite cloak glitch (hacking something than swapping to a weapon so you can shoot while cloaked) * decrease visibility while slowly moving * decrease cloak time (80 seconds on a Basic model? What for?!)

Not necessary my friend, Its actually hard enough to stay completely still in a fight. Cloak users havent really mastered activating and completely being still. Also the idea of being still and being completely visible adds a level of tension to the meta that is quite enjoyable.
I was in this one fight that i was aware i would lose cause it was against a heavy. I cloaked up and JUST BARELY manage to flee. but he was still shooting wildly so I didn't have many options to escape without the possibility of his stray bullets killing me. I had no choice but to duck behind a crate and pray he didn't find me. The anxiety i experienced watching him coming RIGHT at me was something I hadn't experienced in a FPS for awhile. Also, the fact that he actually did walk right by me, allowing me to slip away and heal made me realize that this game just got more interesting.
