So CPM Kane Spero now rules over Molden Heath in Dust, tell me how CCP doesn't see this as a conflict of interests? CPM's get advanced Intel about the future of the game the rest of us do not get. Yet CCP doesn't see it as a problem that somehow Kane has effectively become king of Molden Health. You can no longer own a district in Molden heath if Kane doesn't want you to. He controls the best corps in the game AE, TP, NS, ERA and others. He can get them to take any district in the game. If doesn't get your district the first time he can keep you locked down until he finally beats you. Now his plans are to keep, farm and hold all of Molden Heath except PFC (Oddeluf) and Thunder-dome (Bosena) which will net him and his friends in excess of 2 Billion ISK a Day(DUST ISK)
Now the average player doesn't know the details of the road map for Dust 514, if we did I suppose it would kind of like being able to see the first 4 numbers of the next lottery. There is no way this information has not helped Kane Spero do what he did. NTM somehow make corps like Ancient Exiles, Team Players, and Nyain San do his bidding, all the while somehow making it seem like they are in charge. |

I found it interesting that 1 week before the changes to PC were posted by CCP, members of Spero's corp were advertising in general chat to sell districts for 200 mil. Even offering to teach people how to lock them after they had purchased.
I'm not saying he breached the NDA, just saying i found it interesting. |

Well, he is a player as well as a CPM, so-
Wait, what intel did he get that impacted his decision making? Serious question. And on a sidenote, I don't think CCP is bothered by elite corporations teaming up with each other. I could be wrong but history says that CCP wants the players to make the changes instead of them intervening, unless it was something dirty involved.

Did you see Mittens get kicked off the CSM when his coalition was controlling nearly all of null-sec? What you do in the game has nothing to do with you in reality.

I think the second post covers that, the selling off of districts before the PC changes was most likely due to insider information which he received, due to knowing that CCP is making changes to make it harder / less profitable to defend / lock districts. It is what it is, its not my top concern at any rate.
The blueing up is entirely due to the fact that PC became harder to block people out of it with the changes, so instead of getting challenged / losing districts, they have opted to blue up as a line of defense instead since they couldn't depend on the old mechanics to protect them to the same extent.
@OP
Kane isn't breaking any rules so I'd think you'd have a hard case to get some one kicked off based on that alone.

This class of CPMs we've had for DUST have been a joke as far as the position. But perhaps it is because they are put in an impossible position.
Is it a conflict of interest? Of course.
People in the large alliances get all the patch notes and information about any update well in advance from leaked CPM preparation. They don't tell you this because: 1. It breaks the rules of the game. 2. They don't want others to have any advantage as well.
Why do you think Nyain San has millions of SP wrapped up in FoTMs the very day they are released? When I was in the large alliances, I was told exact information about the upcoming dropsuits, the mauler event, etc... It was factual and 100% accurate every time, because it came directly from the source.
Is Kane Spero on of these leaks? Probably, but it can't be proven by CCP. I'm sure most of the CPMs leak information since the playerbase is so knitted together.
What surprises me about Kane Spero, is how he managed to be a CPM, in charge of PFC, MH, run a DUST-EvE plex service, become the richest player in the game, etc... That took a lot of planning and manipulating on his part, and the community went along with it.
Is he a bad person? Who knows, who cares. Is he a good player? Not in DUST 514 is he any good, not even as an FC. But he found his way to the top, and will do whatever it takes to stay there. Everyone in New Eden is nothing but a resource to him.
My personal dealing with him, he has been nothing but polite, professional, and man of his word.
I ain't got time for dat sh!t

I am not looking to get anyone "kicked off" But looking to change the way CCP can just grant some people overwhelming power over the game, which in this case breaks PC once again. Now PC has a king and you are only allowed to live on 2 planets, if you are not among his elite. |

Yeah it kind of did make it bad then. Jenza used her advanced knowledge to give her alliance an advantage. Not quite as large a problem as this is, but still gave one person an advantage no one else had.

At the end of the day- On his death bed, I hope this isn't the sum of all his achievements. You;d have to waste a whole lot of youth to put this much effort into a game.
Hope he never has to fully realize that

Jenza also made it her mission to hunt down Dust 514 footage to have it removed from the internet. Not because of anything other than "If I can't do it, no one can".. yep. She wasn't technically wrong, but she is also the same person you don't invite to birthday parties. Or any parties.

I think your concern is not without merit, its very possible that the mechanical problems in PC can be a ticking time bomb, but there is still the implicit elephant in the room.
You are giving us:
Postulate 1: CPM Insider Information is Powerful Postulate 2: It is being used by CPMs to dominate/abuse New Eden
Result: Not good for the health of game
Solution: ........
While the solution isn't stated, it would obviously be to break one of the two postulates, which is innately understood by everyone in the thread.
Interestingly enough, CPMs are being left out of more and more information about several of changes being introduced to Dust.

Ok, so trash his name in forum daily. See that he isn't voted in... Yea he owns half of the dust corps, so thst likely won't happen, well better luck next time. Unless you somehow get a few youtubers to agree with you, the majority (myself included) doesn't know about this stuff, doesn't care either.
I pick up the controller, play a few games solo until I get bored and stop playing. If spero wants to be king ****, he can if he wants to put effort into it.
Maybe you should e-mail CCP and not post in a forum they don't often check. |

Also, the only issue I see, is the amount of isk being generated. I mean... Isn't the amount of isk we (DNS) are generating on EVE levels? Surely that'd be kinda broken once the open market comes out...
