The Templar bows to the other two men apologetically, and rises, following the man out of the chapel and into one of the halls. Understandably he is suspicious of the man, and the Gallentean and Templar had clash on and off the battlefield many times. But as a Temple Knight it was his duty to protect the peace of any of his God's shrines.
Rather than decline and risk Sergamon's wrath it was better to hear him out.

"What can I do for you?" He asked curiously, maintaining a respectful distance between the two of them, helmet clasped at his waist , face bare save for the re-breather unit, and rising up to his full height, looking down on the man below with a certain imperious stare.

She jumped as the works, unmistakably of Matari origin, though not of her own dialect, sounded behind her.
She looked back towards the door. Junko was standing there, her face also unmistakably of Mataroi original, tattoo, and all she looked like a fine representation of her former people. She was shaking. What would the woman do to her? Would she try to convince her to run....or fight...or....or.... who knew what.
As she entered Satja bowed low, respectfully, unwilling to meet her eyes, be they kind, or cruel, or judging.
"Ashaltiasten Ms Junko.... h-how might I serv... I mean what can I do for you."
" whoa, whoa, whoa. calm down Satja" Junko said, raising her hands defensively. she walked a little closer, aware that she's probably Scaring her half to death. she unholstered the scrambler rifle she had on her back and set it against a wall, near the door. she made every attempt at calming satja down, when she remembered the book. " Breathe Satja, you look like you about to face god himself. I'm not gonna hurt ya, i just came by because you dropped this..." Reaching into her utility pouch on her right leg, she pulled out the leatherbound book, reaching out with it. "...and enough with the formalities, please. We are Sisters, you and I" Junko said with a smile. She used the term Sisters in Thukker custom, referring to another fellow Matari Female. she sat down, cross-legged, close to satja, but far enough that she could maintain her space.
She rose from the bow, noting the other matari woman had put down he arms and assumed a cross-legged position on the floor. She looked very different from the Minmatar Satja remembered..... but her own home had been am arid desert world, and as she knew well enough watching her master change, different climates bred different people.
She ran and hand the length of her right arm, her own sink was much darker, in part courtesy of the recent inclusion Brutor genetics in her genealogy, but more likely a result of the prolonged exposure to the arid desert climate of Iesa III.
Even so she was a little unsure of herself. Junko seemed nice enough, but immortals were capricious and whimsical, and more often than not...unstable.
Still she found herself sitting on her heels facing the woman, holding the duffel bag to her chest defensively. She reached out to clash the small leather-bound edition, returning it to one of the fold of her tunic.
Sisters, the word thrilled her as she had always wished for a sister, instead of the two brothers she had been "blessed" with. The very same brothers who made her youth miserable.
She took a deep breath, as Junko had suggested, it was cathartic. Slowly the nervousness fell away, the pair sat in a comfortable, companionable silence.
Such as it was she barely noticed as her raven hair slipped from her shoulder, falling across her back, revealing a section of the burns and heavy scarring.
It was exciting talking freely, or so she supposed, with an immortal, more over one of her former people, and to use her native language again..... to not feel like she was making herself a fool.... an exquisite feeling indeed.
"So....uh...Ms Junko.... may I ask what brought you here.... I mean...that I...well....I mean you don't really seem like much of a ....soldier..." She squeaked out the last word.... clasping a hand over her mouth with a mild blend of shock and curiosity, as though she was surprised at herself for asking, but curious nonetheless. |

Satja stared at the woman, lips parted, the whole affair sounded so exciting, so debonair. Roaming the stars aboard a ship, eking out a living here and there. She knew the feeling as her duty ensured that she was stationed aboard starships while Kador was on duty.
"And what did you transport? Where to? I mean...well" She asked, gushing. " It sounds wonderful....Have you seen those storm planets from space... so beautiful."
She briefly revisited the moment she had seen her homeworld from space, aboard one of a dozen slave ships, how Camden had asked them which of them wanted to come with him back to the empire, how she had gone, clasping her father's hand, with the glares of her brothers and mother like daggers.
She discarded the train of thought. It mean nothing to her now, she was happy as she was.

Junko liked conversing with Satja, it made the memories of the old days very nostalgic, and she let out a small sigh.
"ahh, everything. planetary goods, raw materials, salvaged ships, antiques, engine parts, passengers, the whole nine yards" Junko replied, using her fingers to count our the things she transported and hauled.
"..and every part of Min-Gal and Caldari space you could imagine.Had to, because you can't make a living by just working for one faction. i studied alot of languages as i could, trying to make a sense of the world i was about to fly into. helps when your crew could speak multiple languages, so that helped.
when i upgraded into the Mastodon class transports, i made a few passes into null-sec, but it was time-consuming. every single gate was bubbled, with caps stationed at every gate, just itching to blast whatever is there. and the cloaking module we had was very new, which caused a few problems with the ships electronics, ooh boy!
I tried to take a few contracts in amarr space, but you know... " Junko raised her hands up to her shoulders and shrugged .
"...me being matari and everything."
when she asked about the storm planets, she smiled slightly shaking her head.
"yeah, they are pretty. one of the crew members i had back then was an artist, and painted one of the storm planets we passed by while on leave, somewhere i think.... in keikaken? maybe. when we saw it we sent it to his family. on the back of the canvas we wrote all of our names in the back, as to say " your son is still kicking" " Junko said, she quietly laughed at the thought.
Satja Askarin wrote: " I love being able to travel the stars.... It's incredible..."
Junko smiled and nodded with Satja. "yeah it is... so long as nothing decides to make you a frozen popsicle" Junko joked.

The Templar's eyes narrow, as his face darkens slightly.
"Templar Ouryon wil suffice sir." A curt reply, he was prickly about the moniker some of the over zealous Templar Aspirant's had taken up as his title. He was nearing his the years where his experience and age would be respected, and time could not pass fast enough.
He glanced down at the man, noting the sincerity written on his face, something that served to both impress and irritate him at the same time.
"And should I....." He asked bitterly, decided that while this irritated his sensibilities, it was an understandable question the Gallentean asked, and not deserving of his wrath. "What would you do with her?"
He took as step back, putting some distance between his and Sergamon, hand's tightening around the helmet, taking a deep breath through the re breather unit. He was glad the Gallentean could only see half of his face, his mouth was set in a hard disapproving line.
"I thought your people were adverse to deal with slavers for any reason....." He paused, considering his position as Satja's master. "Why would you deal with me?"

That phrase caught his attention, but didn't coax a physical response, he opted to remain quiet, listening to what he had to say.
Noah wrote:GÇ£Some men can put all of their faith into a single ethereal being, others put their faith in themselves, believing that their own abilities will see them through.GÇ¥
GÇ£I find myself deep in the dark woods, I have strayed from the path, I fear the right road lost." Denak didn't think Noah for pondering of such things, and he was pleasantly surprised about that. His gloved index finger tapped against his knee, his head rising up slightly to gaze back at Noah for his finishing words. His helmet still had the dead and hostile look of the three slits and dark color. Beneath his visor, all that was displayed to him was the HUDless video feed from his suit sensors, opting them turned off when he wanted to focus.
Noah wrote:GÇ£DonGÇÖt doubt, have faith in yourself, and if you can not do that then put your faith in those that surround you.GÇ¥ As soon as Noah had finished, Denak in turn spoke up, sounding much less agitated and much more calm this time:
"Idama have a proverb: "What you see in yourself, is what you see in the world". In myself, I now see is bitterness, cynicism and an endless stream of death and rebirth, which I see in the world as well. I commend you for your optimism which I lack, and I wish you success."
With those words, he fell quiet again, deactivating his comms and sinking his head down to its previous position. Within the silent dropsuit, he began humming a low tune, a chant of sorts, although the only way an outsider could have heard it was if he got very close to Denak.

Laying on his back on an ammo box near the hangar was Ermac once again bored and stared up into the ceiling once more. He didn't know when he developed this strange behaviour, but it somehow helped him to ignore everything and made the time melt away like an ice cube next to an engine.
His thoughts where everywhere except for the mission which he tried to forecefully ignore. Like his memory when he saw the sky for the first time, he always knew that when he looks up that there would be a grey ceiling with lights on it,or maybe a glass roof where he could see hundreds of feet stepping on it.
But when he had his first monthly shift on dantumi 3's bogs and swamps, and he exited for the first time the transport shuttle which would come back after a month, was he terrified.
He thought he would fall into the sky when he saw that big blue ocean with white and grey tufts above him, but after a few hours of him just watching the way in front of him and his feet did he decide to take the risk and watch it for a few minutes and this took his fear away.
He saw the beginning of a lightning storm that came from the west and he only knew those from watching the planet from above, it was one of the most wonderful things he ever saw, till it hit them and it started to rain out of buckets for an entire week.
Still was it this moment that made him realize how much he doesn't know about the beauty of the galaxy around them all. There is also danger in beauty, this was one of the lesson that he learned from his fellow officers during his 1st month.
And this brought him back to the mission which terrified him, it was one thing to get out of a station to find a hidden smuggler hideout on the surface of it. But it was something different to get out into WS and board a ship from which they don't know what happend to it.
But he was also interested to find out what things they will encounter during this mission. His fascination and fear reminded him of his memory, he was afraid of the unknown but he still wanted to see it.
' Is that typical? I don't know but still I need to keep my eyes and ears open, it will be like back in the swamps. Never have a dull moment or someone or myself will be lost forever in the darkness.'
Are his thoughts as he watches the timer in his HUD showing the central New eden time and it was near the moment they planned to meet. Ermac stands up and stretches his back and leans himself in a standing position against the box.
'Well then let's see if the darkness is going to embrace us in a tight hug or a chrushing grip' Is the thought that travels through his head as he starts to wait for the others to arrive. |

GǣOptimism huhGǪGǥ A goofy grin was on his face. GǣThe madness of insisting that all is well when we are miserable. I hold out no hope that things will turn out well, only a certainty that they will make sense.Gǥ
Noah let out a snort; he was starting to get carried away. Under most circumstances he would never have given voice to those thoughts.
GÇ£Sorry about that, I tend to get lost in thought in places like this.GÇ¥ Noah gestured to their immediate surroundings. It could have been due to his surroundings, or perhaps it was the company.

**** Hanger T-13
Inside the hanger the techs and drones are finishing their final preparations, while equipment is being loaded onto the Pilgrim class force recon class cruiser. The cargo bay and much of the cruiser has been retrofitted into a troop transport and command center.
The sleek and elegant lines that traditionally represent ammar design and architecture are absent from the modified areas of the ship. Instead the design is very minimalist, lacking any unnecessary or extra features. In the area closest to the cargo doors are a dozen seats rather uncomfortable looking seats. The middle of the cargo hold had been turned into an armory; it is also where the extra clones are stored. Further back is the command center where the support personnel will be monitoring the drones and sensors.
Once everyone is loaded and aboard the cruiser will take off for W-space. |

The Templar looks down at Sergamon from behind guarded eyes.
It was no point explaining to him exactly what being a master meant to him, nor being a slave meant to Satja. In the end it was a cultural hurdle that, he supposed, would not easily be crossed without showing him exactly what it meant.
It was duty, and duty he had been give to fulfil, to tend to the spiritual acclimation of the Matari woman, as it was her duty to ensure he was combat ready at a moments notice. For both of them it was a lesson, that duty was its own rewards, no more was required, and no less demanded.
He relaxed somewhat, the man meant no ill will by asking. He probably assumed he was doing something noble, perhaps he was even sincere in what he had said.
Using his suits internal communications link he contacted Satja.
" Little one. Your presence is required.....I..."
He cut off suddenly as the announcement echoed back to him across the communications network.
"We have little time....make your arrangements report to me, and we shall board the cruiser. Understood?"

Satja waited patiently in an enraptured silence as Junko retold countless stories of her travels throughout New Eden aboard her vessel, she listened intently about the crew, everything form their little quirks to how they came to be aboard the ship, then on to the ship itself, and on to some of their cargo.
It sounded incredible..... it also sounded very familiar. A slight crackling at her ear was the first indication her personal communications were being contacted. All external sound was drowned out in a moment, before Kador's voice cut through the silence.
" Little one. Your presence is required.....I..."
He cut off abruptly, something on his end she suspected, and was vindicated when seconds later he continued speaking, his voice a stronger, less fatigued, filled with purpose.
"We have little time....make your arrangements report to me, and we shall board the cruiser. Understood?"
She rose from the floor, aware of Junko's eyes following her as she did.
"Understood Classiarii, on my way."
She turned to face the Matari woman, bowing low, in a respectful gesture, rising with a smile on her face, deep brown eyes flashing.
"Many apologies Junko, it was a pleasure to sit and talk with you...but I have matters to be attending. I would be appreciative if perhaps we might do this again at a later time."
With that she turned to leave, slinging the duffel bag over her shoulderleft shoulder, straightening her hair over her right. Internally she was a little conflicted. Mortified that she had been displaying the ugly scars she bore, but also pleased, and relieved that Junko had not commented on them.
She passed from the locker rooms, followed the corridor back towards the main briefing room, passing the swarm of drones, and a pair of technical officers dressed in drab whites and greys.
She stopped momentarily to ask one of them, a blonde man if he had seen the Templar. At first he looked concerned possibly for her safety but eventually explained that the he had seen a towering Amarrian soldier by the chapel. Thanking him she continued down a number of corridors until she could make out the towering form of Kador.
She presented herself before him wordlessly.

Galm looked up from his position on the railing, having spent several minutes now talking himself up in his head for the upcoming mission. He breathed deeply, thinking about the objective and the men he was soon to serve with. Every word Fae had spoken earlier about having confidence in each member of the team was true, but he was not yet convinced that each mercenary would live up to their potential as an effective soldier.
Denak and Kador were seasoned fighters, but he had yet to see the abilities of the others that surrounded him. Sure, he could access CONCORD dossiers and attempt to discern how many kills they had achieved versus their amount of deaths in approved burn zones, but that only said so much about their abilities as a mercenary. Galm for one, knew his own probably looked none too good itself. He could thank his previous blatant disregard for his own life for that smudge on his record, even if it was justified by the number of installations he had managed to take or how many front lines he had broken through. While he had since grown better about preserving himself in battle since he'd reunited with Niina, it would take some time to raise his average all-time ratio.
He laughed for a moment, entertained with the way he was analyzing statistics in his profession as if he were a part of a sports team. He supposed that was what baseliners must do, idolizing immortals as gladiators to be tracked, managed, and paid accordingly. Galm wondered to himself if somewhere out there in the universe there was a "fantasy squad' application on someone's datapad and if Galm was a member of anyone's selected team. He shock his head, chuckling slightly as he boarded the Pilgrim.
Quote: Inside the hanger the techs and drones are finishing their final preparations, while equipment is being loaded onto the Pilgrim class force recon class cruiser. The cargo bay and much of the cruiser has been retrofitted into a troop transport and command center.
The sleek and elegant lines that traditionally represent ammar design and architecture are absent from the modified areas of the ship. Instead the design is very minimalist, lacking any unnecessary or extra features. In the area closest to the cargo doors are a dozen rather uncomfortable looking seats. The middle of the cargo hold had been turned into an armory; it is also where the extra clones are stored. Further back is the command center where the support personnel will be monitoring the drones and sensors.
Once everyone is loaded and aboard the cruiser will take off for W-space.
Upon boarding the ship, Galm immediately hurries over to his combat clones to ensure they are all in correct order. Satisfied with their placement, he kisses his palm and places it over the front of one of his clone's helmets for luck. He turns away nodding, knowing he is ready for deployment. Seconds later he is buckling himself to the seat nearest the door, his rifle tucked under his chair but easily within reach.
"Right!" he cheers through his speakers, "Anyone gonna sit with me? Conversation will keep my mind off the possibility of that wormhole collapsing with us in it."
"On the Leviathan's back will our civilization be carried home and the taint of the Enemy purged from our souls."

Ermacs thoughts got interupted by the robotic voice telling them all to board the ship that he was close to he locked around and saw that Hawkeye was already on his way with a cap on his helmet which was a little to small for it but it still fitted.
Even though it looked ridicoulis could Ermac feel that a smile was creeping up towards his face.
' I have to correct myself. THIS will be the last laugh that im going to have in this mission' he thinks while Hawk moves towards him.
He liked Hawkeye he was strange but he was also reliable, a good Kirjuun who is not afraid to sometimes act first and then to think of his actions afterwards. Which is in Ermac eyes an ability that can help in many situations where people only talk but they don't wanna act. And the fact that he rescued him from getting choked by a nameless Scout was also a big plus.
As Ermac tries to grab his hands and answer his question can he feel how his box was slipping away from his back, he steps away and sees how a crane is moving it into the ship.
He recollects himself and shakes Hawks hand:" Of course im ready a better question would be if that ship and whatever brought it in this situation is ready for us." He says with a light chuckle.
" But I hope you have some experience when it comes to being in space, they even modified our suits for that purpose." he taps against his own helmet while he speaks, with a serious undertone in his voice:" I hope I don't have to educate you on how to use a Geiger Counter."
Ermac remembered something that he forgot to mention:" Oh yeah im not going to join the main team I go with Galm for the data. I hope you guys can handle this with the "hot shots" in our team"
Ermac also wanted to mention that he was a little afraid but he decided that he didn't needed to burden someone else with his worrys.
With that did he move inside the ship which his equipment scanner classified as a amarrian cruiser of the "pilgrim" class, it didn't look like it could pack a punch but it was enough for this mission.
He moved inside and saw how Galm also entered the Pilgrim and took a seat before Ermac could, and then did he make his offer for some small talk before his mission. Ermac decided against it they will have plenty of time inside that ship for talk, he takes a seat opposite of galms side but in the middle of the row and made himself comfy.
Which was a challenge in itself with his commando suit and the seats being just a metal plate that one has to tilt down to take a seat on it.
' Relaxation is a luxury during this mission' he thinks bitterly. |

Junko looked at satja when she recieved the messages. she noted her face turning somber, but not as sullen as before.
but when she bowed to Junko, she also observed her smiling, a genuine smile . as if she needed just someone to talk to, someone where she can be herself. after she heard Satja wanting to talk to her again, Junko smiled and bowed lightly as well.
"Dont mention it, find me at Cal-space and we can talk over a few beers, sis. It's nice meeting ya" Junko gave a small wink as she rose up, activated her Neocom and was suprised to hear the general timer down to 10 minutes, less than 10 to be exact.
matters aside, she quickly decided to compose a small message for satja,in an Old Thukker Dialect for her. a parting gift before deciding against it and grabbed her scrambler rifle. loading the magazine with practiced care and slinging it over her back, the maglock activating with a Click Thunck!
once the rifle was secure she grabbed her helmet and dashed off to the Hangar
HANGAR T-13
'hmm the pilgrim class cruiser. fitted with advanced cloaking modules, all the Ewar equipment we need, first i'll need to link up with the Support teams' Junko thought as she entered the modified Pilgrim. but when she noted the other members of her team, she remembered the Information she carried.
'crap, i need to distribute this intel' she thought quickly,as she entered the cargohold, where she saw hawk-eye,Galm, and Ermac chatting well about the mission at hand when she heard ermac say:
Ermac Vessly wrote:"Oh yeah, I'm not going to join the main team; I'll go with Galm for the data. I hope you guys can handle this with the "hot shots" in our team"
"in fat-suits?" Junko quipped, entering the conversation. She smiled and slightly shook her head with a slight chuckle. she unhooked her scrambler rifle and set it against her as shemade her way to a seat near the entrance.
"as far as i know, Jester, Myself and Denak are the fastest members of the squad as of right now, and since the Bridge to the yan jung structure is a long ways away, it'll take a scout with a cloaking module to get through our opposition" she said as she booted up her Neocom. "sorry to say this Ermac, but you'll be sticking with the "Hot shots" of our team until the navcom is hacked" Junko said with a mischievous smile

Ermac raised his eyebrow under his helmet, after that statement. She was right when it came to speed but that was not his problem, the problem that he had was a far more simple one.
Scouts are fast that was clear but they also easily die and they don't have the firepower to get through much and who knows if the enemy that they are going to face can be even tricked by cloaking.
He was not happy with that decision but he decided to not voice it out. But the next idiot who decides to make him angry would get his mechanical fist in his face and he hoped it's going to be one of the enemys and not a friendly.
' Speed my ass this is going to be a marathon and the guys who run fast at the beginning are known to fall down first and wheeze for air.' He thinks while he tries to swallow down his anger.
Still does it seem like that he needs to sit down and take it but, if anything fails is it not going to be his fault because he didn't make the plan.

Slowly but with purpose Noah made his way into the hall, his helmet tucked under his arm. With every step he took he cleared his mind of extraneous thoughts and focusing on the mission at hand. Noah retrieved his weapons from the rack locking his magsec to his thigh and the mass driver to his back. Each weapon made a satisfying click as the maglocks activated. He nodded slightly towards Kador and Sergamon before turning to Satja.
GÇ£IGÇÖm counting on you to get us through this alive.GÇ¥ His spoke firmly in a serious tone.
Noah did not mean to put any extra pressure onto the woman; he was simply stating what he believed to be true. They were going in partially blind and the support team would be playing a vital role in providing information. Without another word he headed towards the hanger.
**** Hanger T-13
As Noah boarded the cruiser he nodded at the others. He had to stifle a laugh when he saw the Techs hat sitting atop Hawk-eyeGÇÖs head. It was ill fitting and reminded Noah of an awkward fat child trying to cram his head into a hat that did not fit. Noah placed his helmet on the seat next to Galm.
GÇ£Nice hat, it suits you.GÇ¥
With that he moved further into the cargo hold, past the extra clones and towards the command center. Speaking fairly loudly as he approached it.
GÇ£Cross are we ready?GÇ¥
GǣGǪYeah, just aboutGǥ
She sounded preoccupied, like she was trying to perform multiple tasks at once. Noah walked into the command center leaning up against the metal door frame.
GÇ£Stupid drones are late.GÇ¥
Cross was running through a check list while running through the procedures with the captain of the cruiser. The drones she was referring to where the combat drones that they were assigned for the mission. There were a total of six drones; four of them were equipped with weapons while the other two were equipped for a support role. Every drone was carrying extra ammunition and equipment.
GÇ£You would think being robots they would be on time.GÇ¥
GÇ£You worry to much theyGÇÖll be here.GÇ¥
GÇ£And you donGÇÖt worry enough.GÇ¥
At that moment the six combat drones hovered into the hold, past the mercenaries, their green optics glowed faintly as they moved into their housing in the ceiling going into a passive mode. Unlike their worker bee brethren these drones were far larger, heavily armored and moved nearly silently.
GÇ£Do you have my knives by the way?GÇ¥
GÇ£YeahGÇ¥
She pulled two large knives out of a drawer and tossed them at him.
GÇ£ThanksGÇ¥
GÇ£I swear you wouldnGÇÖt be able to dress yourself if everything wasnGÇÖt automated here.GÇ¥
GÇ£Depends on the day.GÇ¥
Noah attached them to the small of his back. He called them knives but at 10 inches long they were more like a short sword. Unlike the Nova knives his were not powered, but he had learned that a decent blade could save his life. With his knives secured he turned to leave. Cross spoke up before he was out of earshot.
GÇ£How are you feeling about this mission?GÇ¥
Noah gave her an audible grunt; it was his way of verbally shrugging. Usually actions spoke louder than words but in full armor it was sometimes difficult to discern small actions making verbal communication vital.
GÇ£Great.GÇ¥
Noah resumed his short walk back to his seat. He honestly didnGÇÖt know how this mission was going to go. Noah didnGÇÖt know what they were walking into but he expected the worse.
Back with the others he grabbed his helmet, and put his mass driver in the rack below his chair and took his seat next to Galm. As he sat down he readjusted the Angel Cartel sash at his waist. It was something he did when he was slightly nervous. It was an old habit he had formed a lifetime ago.

Rather than his voice being projected through his speakers, it now transmitted directly over the ship's TacNet and barked inside the helmet of every mercenary in his fire team with a static pop.
"If I may?" he asked sincerely, pausing briefly as if waiting or any objections, "You're absolutely right about the scout suits. We need soldiers inside that ship who can slip in an out quickly and covertly, but we also can't rely too heavily on the abilities of a handful of cloaking mechanisms. If even one of those fail you could stir up a nest of gods know what without any offensive or defensive capabilities outside of your combat styles that are typically geared only towards anti-personnel combat. Our 'fat-suits' on the other hand have weight taken off the external frame. That makes us just as fast as any standard infantry unit while still maintaining mission capability over a broad range of possible contacts. We might not be infiltrators, but we make damn good suppression fighters if need be and you are going to need someone who can operate a swarm launcher or an anti-material rifle with enough ammunition to draw any threats away from the scout team. My suggestion? Only take one of us with you. It can be me or Ermac, I frankly don't care which as long as you feel comfortable with the level of support."
With that Galm leaned back in his chair, looking around at the other mercenaries that had begun taking their seats in the cruiser.

Junko listened sincerely ,taking in Glam's ideas and nodding to herself with what Galm said. once he was done
"which is why most of us will act as decoys to distract whatever is inside that ship. commando units will fan out and set off remote explosives at random locations. then lead them all away from our scout. once our scout is in the bridge, the rest of the team that is not among the decoy group with link up with the scout and begin hacking.
We will lose clones, as tough as it is for me to say that, but i'll be among the decoy group, it'll be my job to keep that group alive while the navcom is hacked. once done, we'll fallback to the noctis and rearm, then make our way back to the bridge and continue from there." Junko replied, interfacing with the same channel. she manuvered her Neocom to her notes and pulled them out. preparing to send the intel.
"there is another method, but for now we'll need to get a scan of the ship before we can use any game plan"
"which is why... its simply complicated"Junko's recording of her voice played, and then she switched to her team's comms with a smile.
" which is why I've decided to give you all something to chew on" she said as she pressed a button, sending her summary to her entire team.

After reading the mission objectives and details, was it clear for Ermac that his and Galms idea would have never worked, even with the firepower that they already possesed wouldn't that be enough to get through all the security drones and that the entire ship is a maze doesn't help at all.
He was never interested in the old civilisation, but this idea of having so many dead ends that the enemy just gives up sounded like a good idea. That is until said enemy has enough and just blasts his way through the ship with tons of breach bombs.
What also worried him was the prospect of not only having to fight a bunch of very tall and extremly dangerous security drones, but also serpentis pirates who want to make a lot of cash with the relics that are on board and they are not going to be happy to see them there. And who knows what other security measures that ship has.
' I should have asked for a raise when I had the opportunity....' .
With that in mind is he going through the intel again, finding the crew is going to be a lucky guess without any way to contact them via Comms.
The Gravimetric system sounds for him like something that doesn't like to get fluxed, that would be the most drastical but also shortest solution for it.
Now on the point of navigating that place, that still gave him a headache how are they going to tell the others where a dead end is and where not before they obtain the map?
He tries to read a specific part but he get's distracted by the Geiger Counter that he forgot to turn off.
' Damn couldn't they place it in a better part of my already full HUD? Im lucky that Jacques is not using his ammo as "war paint" again or that thing would go crazy.... Hey that could be an idea.'
"I have an idea." He says in a rather louder tone to get the attention of the others which was easy with the in built communicator in his suit.
He continues :" The ship is a damn maze and without communications is it going to be difficult to find each other. This is why I think that we should mark the way were someone went to make sure that the others, or someone who got lost can find his or her way back and that fast."
He makes a short pause and looks around ,hoping that everyone is still listening. "But it would also help the enemy to find us too, which is why I think that we should use something that only we can recognize as a marking."
With that does he tap on his helmet and speaks again:" We all have a Geiger Counter in our HUD, how about we use a specific radioactive material as the mark, and everytime we hear or see that the Counter reacts is that the way we have to go."
As he ends his explanation, shrugs Ermac with his shoulders and adds:" Well it's just an idea but I think it could work ya know?"
He leans back as far as possible in his seat and waits for the answer. |

Cruiser
With everyone aboard the Cruiser the cargo hull doors began to close. The hydraulic doors hissing closed, as it sealed its occupants inside. For some reason Noah could not help but imagine the cruiser as a tomb that was being sealed. Just as the door closed the ship lifted off of the hanger floor and proceeded to exit the hanger.
****
En Route to W-Space
The ship had been moving for about twenty minutes when a voice was heard over the mercenaries comm systems.
GÇ£Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,GÇ¥ The voice was bubbly and excited, clearly not a robot.
GÇ£My name is Cross and I will be your guide and the voice inside your head for the duration of this wonderful sight seeing excursion into W-Space.GÇ¥
GÇ£Now if you would please locate Mr. Jester he will be assisting me today.GÇ¥ The Matari woman seemed intent on continuing with the act.
Noah unbuckled himself and made his way further back, standing in the middle of the aisle so that the others could see him.
GÇ£Now on this excursion we will be traveling into unknown territory. To prevent you from traveling blindly you have been given access to a number of drones. Two dozen of them to be exact.GÇ¥
Noah opened up a large metal case and pulled out a metal ball about eight inches in diameter.
GÇ£These adorable little guys will be acting as our eyes and ears. They are active scanner drones that will be mapping out both ships.GÇ¥
As she spoke Noah activated the drone he was holding. It beeped to life with a small green light signaling it was on. The little ball floated happily at about head height. A few moments later he grabbed the floating drone. It responded with a dejected beep. Noah turned it off and put it back into its case.
GÇ£The drones you see behind my lovely assistant will be providing fire support as well as carrying your extra ammo. They can also be set to act as sentries.GÇ¥
Noah had taken a few steps backwards and was pointing up to the much larger drones resting in their housing above his head.
GÇ£I would like to say thank you to the lovely Junko for dispensing what information we do possess, it saves us on the time of having to explain a few things. The last thing that must be discussed is what to do in the case that the cargo hold you are currently in is breached. As we are in space we recommend hugging your knees, rocking back and forth, and praying to whatever god you believe in.GÇ¥
As she was speaking Noah demonstrated the suggested method. It was expertly done, possibly from past experience.
GÇ£We will be arriving at our destination in a few hours. Those of you that have paid for the tour will disembark at that time. We suggest you take that time to decide on how you will be spending your time. As a reminder we want to let you know that we are on a tight schedule. If you are not at the docks at the scheduled time you will be left behind and no refund will be given. We thank you for choosing the Worm Hole Party cruise. Your first and only choice in W-Space cruises.GÇ¥
Noah walked back to his seat, and rather ungracefully threw himself into it. The metal seat groaned in disdain as he did so. Noah stared up blankly at the ceiling for a few moments.
GÇ£Alright lets work this out, we donGÇÖt have a lot of time, and we need to prioritize our objectives. For the sake of time and efficiency I was thinking of splitting up into two teams. One squad will be responsible for the recovery of the artifact while the other will be responsible for the navvcomm.GÇ¥
He left it open for discussion and to determine how they were going to split up.
