Junko entered the conference room, dressed in casual attire, with her pilots wristcomp firm on her right hand. before she entered, she lightly grasped the bone on her tribal necklace and took a deep breath.
"event horizon" she said and walked inside, immediately recognizing Denak.
"how do you do?" she said to him and pulled up a chair a seat away from denak, she went over the intel they gave her eariler when she was in the shuttle, and pulled out a small notebook, and began planning out a route.
Quote:'easiest place would have to be in the top section of the wreck, large hole, easy access. extra tanks of oxygen needed to refill the corridors again. could take a few from Jun-mai, but i think she's not up for another WH op.
Large ship, power most likely out, large distance needed to traverse. could use Trojan modules, insert allies in key locations. risky, possibility of drone intervention.
Modified heavy-class dropship, caldari variant resistant to drones in this section of WH space. fast insertion, fast exfil. no, need crew, more expenses, maybe jacob, rataaki, and oman can join?'
hmmm i need some tea around here" junko said to herself, as she once again looked out towards the other teammates, once again looking at denak. for some reason, she asked bluntly.
"that special op did a number on you, didn't it?" |

Denak Kalamari wrote:Denak was mostly focused on scanning his surroundings, observing as more and more mercenaries exited the shuttle and gathered around the conference room while leaning against a wall. Some faces looked familiar, others not so much, he had plenty of time to get to know them during deployment in any case. He was soon distracted though when he heard Junko address him. He politely bowed his head in greeting, keeping his arms tucked behind his back as he spoke:
"I'm good. I trust contracts have been good for you as well?"
As Denak gave a brief glance of the conference room, Sergamon's behavior caught his attention, especially when he was acting like he was about to be attacked, and definitely hiding a gun under his black robes. He gave a silent sigh to the man, uttering out a dismissive: "Amateur". Soon his attention was grabbed by Junko again when she spoke. In response he gave a nonchalant shrug, lifting a hand up to scratch his bearded chin.
"It was hectic at times, but nothing I can't handle."
"hmm... mental recovery and all that jazz eh? I've been mostly hauling cargo, to and from Cal-space. you wouldnt believe the amount of planetary goods needed to bring the damaged sections of Malkalen Station back up to speed, much less the minerals needed to actually make the repairs. but Ishukone pays good, better than some of the contracts I've taken as a merc" Junko replied.
in the back of her mind, she could sense a bit of mental anguish coming from Denak, but chose to wave it off as post-battle stress.
back to her own notes, and looking over the mission intel, she then asked one more question: "this mission...what do you think of it; simple smash and grab? or something other than turning rouge drones into scrap?"

Denak Kalamari wrote: "I've grown to to expect nothing to go as planned when going on these kinds of deployments", was his simple reply, inhaling with a slight sigh. .
"even then, a little planning goes a long way, huh." Junko replied, lightly shrugging her shoulders. she wanted to lighten the guy up, thinking of giving a friendly pat in the back 'just relax, things will go well' she wanted to say
but she was in a room full of mercs, contract killers, templars, statesmen, soldiers, snipers, assassins etc; act as professional as she makes out of it, even if somehow, a dropship logistics pilot wouldn't belong.
She was about to turn back to her notes and resume until she heard Galm's remarks.
Galm Fae wrote: "So... Tanks not doing it for you anymore? I mean... I'm sure you'll do just fine once we get in the ship. No big open spaces for you to **** yourself in. Then again, it's W space. Anything can happen out there."
she knew adamance, she heard of him throughout of their circles, argued, debated, never fought against or with the templar, but she, like all the other mercs, respected the man and his skill. she knew of the man's exploits with the special contract, and wished she could've done something, even if he hails from the very race she is supposed to hate. that thinking was normal for being a trader before she became who she was now.
in her notes: she scribbled a small personal message for herself and then reactivated her comp, this time hailing one of her contacts:
"Kyo? hey its me, listen im cashing in that favor you owe me; I need some info on the yan jung, yes the ancient bastards from Gal space.. everything; drones, structure layouts, basic information from your contacts. I got a mission for a smash and grab type mission, i need as many layouts of their architecture as possible."

Sergamon take litle pause and continues "But some of you are strangers to others, and i personally like to know the people whom i work with"
Sergamon continue" I can start,You can call me Draco and i am your friendly assault/HAV driver"
Junko looked at to the man who introduced himself and smiled, quitely putting away her notebook and turning down her wrist comp. 'Finally, someone friendly enough to introduce themselves' she thought as she waved out in response. she then stood up and smiled, scanning the room for other mercs.
"hello there: My name is Junko. Dropship Pilot, Logistics Specialist. I'm either flying a Myron or Saving some poor bastard's Clone from failing, something which i've gotten good at.
I'm also a trader as well. that usually means Contacts, and thats Information on the big hauls, Wanted goods and necessities, information on Wormhole spaces, pirate faction sites, relics you name it. i hope to use that information to make our lives a little easier if we are going to be doing this mission together. "oh man, this mission has going to be unpredictable as all hell" Junko said to herself as she followed the blue lights to the stasis pods. where she saw Denak strip himself of his clothing and step inside the pod. then Ermac and Adamance repeated as they did, as she walked towards a pod she felt the urge to glance at the woman who accompanied Adamance, puzzled by something even she knew not to speak about.
"he'll be fine" Junko said to herself as she passed by the woman as she began stripping herself of her clothing, first the shirt, then the boots and pants until she lay with plain dark red underwear with only her tribal necklace left. her body was toned, athletic, only as much as a leisure clone can go, but it would mean nothing.
she briefly remembered her previous body, the one she had before she became immortal, covered in the scars from the Thukker trials. to see herself in this clone, free from those scars meant like a loss of discipline. it might be why she adopted this reckless personality of hers.
'if only the elders would see me now, they would flip' she thought as she folded up her clothes and placed them in a locker next to the pod along with her wrist computer, which she unhooked from her arm, that chill feeling going up her arm as the small beads of sweat on her arm made contact with the air.
as she stepped inside,a drone entered with her and began strapping her to the pod, attaching wires and nodes to monitor her body as the mission would proceed. "Ma'am, i would like to ask that you remove any accessories you have before proceeding" the drone asked in a metallic, emotionless tone.
Junko looked at the drone for awhile and then half-smirked, half smiled. "no thank you tentacles, now hands off the merchandise." Junko replied as the neural jack was plugged in, and the drone quietly exited the pod before i closed shut and the pod began filling up with stasis fluid. she had a mind to look at the pod entrance, looking out towards the room as the machines attempted to transfer her consciousness.
it was all she could to smile mischievously before her vision blurred to dark as her mind was starting to transfer.

4 months, three weeks and 2 days have passed since she last used a combat clone. her leisure clone, Her body had limiters that prevented her strength and her agility from being harnessed too recklessly. but she had used her mind to the fullest though, taking on assignments and hauling cargo as efficient as the capsuleers would, planning her next move, or developing her plans as she went.
what a life she had. Trader before merc, pilot before soldier. Human before... Immortal.
as she spent her time in the pod, her mind undergoing the transfer. she felt a sense of loss, again.
'this is scary' junko thought, her mind still in the place where the great caravan would proceed, to make way for her to reach paradise.
then she felt a pull, it wasn't like someone pulling her, she had no body.
it was a call, the other side needed her; and she went.
INITIALIZING CORE SYSTEMS..
ACTIVATING HEADS UP DISPLAY...
Junko briefly remembered her dropsuits always went without the helmet. call it a force of habit, but as her combat clones the same as her leisure, with the exception of her light tan skin. the hairstyle was the same; red-brown hair cut short, couple inches above her shoulder.
'heh, what a sight it'll be ' Junko thought as she saw the remainder of her boot up sequence.
BOOTING LOGISTICS DIAGNOSIS SYSTEMS ALL SYSTEMS INITIALIZED, DISENGAGING MAGNETIC LOCKS.
Junko opened her eyes, her vision a blur as she blinked; trying to make sense of her surroundings. a small figure approached her, and began speaking to her.
but she couldn't see clearly yet, she couldn't hear. "...allri...?" was the only thing she could make out,she tried to speak but this time she spoke in her native tongue.
"daijo.." and then her body seemingly crumpled to the floor.
---
"we got a problem with Junko's combat clone, abort start up sequence! initiate diagnosics check! GET ME A MEDICAL DRONE!" the technician yelled. immediately two drones tried to pick her body up, then more medical drones arrived, scanning her body for any faults within her body.
"Junko, or subject J51-7 is having trouble adjusting to this clone's biorhythm, give her time and she'll adjust." one of the drones replied, they flipped her on her back and monitored her body as Junko began gasping heavily for air.
---
'cmon J, get up' she thought, he willed her body to answer her, but it refused to perform what she had wanted. somehow she knew this would happen. 4 months of non combat would do that to her. but slowly she began moving her fingers through the Logistics Mk/1 suit. slowly her hands responded, then her arms and feet. as she regained control of her legs, the medical drone swooped up to her face and scanned her eyes.
"J51-7 are you feeling better?" the drone asked. This time her eyes can see as perfect as she once saw them across lay the pods and she could see the sillouette of a female body suspended in fluid, her body. her ears could hear the distant footsteps of denak as he walked into the armory down the corridor.
and she can speak now. her lips curled into a smirk and then opened.
"I feel good" was her simple reply as she slowly got up, allowing the technician to prod her dropsuit for any abnormalities. when he could find none, he tapped her shoulder and gave her a thumbs up. Junko Nodded and then began walking to the armory, not before she tucked her helmet underneath her right arm. |

"Hey, wait up. Junko, is it?"
Junko stopped while en route to the armory and turned around, to see Roy walking up to Her. initially she was suprised, but didn't let it show on her face and just waited for Roy to catch up to her. he didn't stop walking so she continued as he was .
"yup, the one and only" Junko replied, keeping her pace up with roy's.
'well there's another suprise right there, another merc wants to chit-chat' junko thought. her guess was right, when Roy began asking a question.
"So uh...What was that back there? You alrigh'?" Roy asked.
"hmm? oh, yeah..." Junko nodded, remembering her brief period of being in her current body.
"...that was something on my end, i haven't transferred to my combat clones since... 3-4 months ago? i've been using my other body to complete my contracts since hauling cargo and piloting dropships are somehwat less risky than shooting people in the face. but to be honest, i can't get used to the fact that I'm immortal, despite me being in this state for a long while, i guess" Junko answered, glancing at a techie as they turned another corner.
despite the feeling that they were moving as normal, Junko felt a sense of speed as she was walking. everything seemed slower now, more sluggish. obviously this was going to be a problem for her.
'Combat rifle definitely out of the question' She thought. since the rifle had been released, she would keep one next to her seat while she'd be piloting dropships. kept her safe, and the recoil she would be intuitively used to.
She might need to pack a scrambler rifle, but in the back of her head, she would imagine Adamance hounding at her for using "a tool of God" |

Roy Ventus wrote:"Ahh. I thought so. I've seen newbies go through the same thing where they'll try to stand up and end up falling like a trying baby."
Junko smiled and then nodded as she thought of it again.
"i guess thats the way it is then" letting out a good chuckle over it, then she noticed that Roy's features changed. it was different. a rare trait to see from a clone merc from all her travels.
Roy paused in thought, thinking about what she meant by not getting used to being immortal. His eyes crossed to the left, then back to Junko, then again to the left. He had the face of someone who had something to say. It was very different compared to his spastastic, Gallente-bred speakeasy way of communicating. So different that he actually disliked it from time to time.
Roy Ventus wrote: "Well maybe the immortal life isn't for you? Not to discourage you but, like, when I'm in skin...the skin of a clone, it doesn't feel like a real battle. It all feels like a dream or an accurate illusion. That's why I crack jokes and cling onto my humor. To liven it up. You know, make it spicy. That's why I bring a lot of energy and put my fiber into this way of life. Maybe after this, you might want to consider another life, if not approaching immortal-hood differently. Maybe just stick to cargo running or actually trying something completely different."
"ahh you dont think i can handle this eh?" Junko jokingly asked, with a hint of sarcasm and smiles. "well, i'll tell you what if you catch me at a bar with my buddies after this, bring all the alcohol you can bring; i'll make you so ****-faced that you won't tell the difference between a Caldari broad and a Gallentean Sweetheart" Junko sneered, chuckling as she pointed at roy's chest.
Roy Ventus wrote: "But don't get caught up on all of those feelings while we're on the job. You'll do worse if you don't put your all into it but I'm sure you know that." He smiled.
"And if you do slip up, I'll have your back. I mean. It's not like we're B-F-F's or whatever." He laughed as he wiped a tear from his right eye, rubbing it as if he just got finished bawling.
"It's just that we might suffer from a fate worse than death."
"awww, someone has gotten a case of feelings" Junko teased. she unholstered her repair tool that came from roy and held it up for him to see. " Im Thukker, i Don't go down easy. but don't worry, if you go down, i'll give you special attention" she said with a wink.
Finally reaching the armory, Roy gave Junko a pat on her back. "Let's gear up."
she nodded and split ways. the small talk helped to regain her confidence and she made it show with her walking, she passed by a drone who was monitoring a weapons cache and stoped in front of it.
"Junko, J51-7 requesting the following gear:
K-2 nanohives Nanite injector, Combat class Codebreaker modules, install these on my current and other clones."
"processing request. what weapon would you also equip?"
'hmmm, im taking it easy with this clone for a while, so i'll need something accurate... Rail rifle? no, i need firepower when i need it, not when a charge is needed. Assault rifle? reliable, but takes too many nanites to replenish ammunition Combat rifle? maybe, when i need more bullets downrange, i'll use them after this clone is done Scrambler rifle? perfect for me now, maybe later i'll exchange for the Combat rifle'
"...Viziam Scrambler rifle. but attach the boundless combat rifles to my other two clones, will ya?" she responded. the drone made a series of chirps and then moved on.
"will do, J51-7"

' well, i'll do my equipment check near the ship' Junko said to herself, looking around, she could sense a grand sort of hostility between some of the more hardened members of her team. she wanted to chat with them if at least for a while, but now it wasn't the time.
Instead, she sent a small message via NeoCOM to all the current members of her squad it read:
Kill yourselves or fight together. but regardless of which option you pick it's going to be my role as a logistics operator to keep you guys alive. Never cared much for the grudges you held but truth be told, its getting out of hand. i know im not capable to proving my worth to you guys yet, but at least know i'll do my job as best i can, despite my initial setbacks.
so just liven up, enjoy the scenery while we got the chance.
im heading out of the armory, towards the hangar and having a chat with the people responsible for getting us to where we need to go, see if they need help with pre-flight checks, miscellaneous goods and so on. if you want to help, you know where to find me. |

"hmm.. ok, serpentis like to do their ops in this reigon after all. Cap, what can you tell me about the drone in this reigon" Junko pointed out in a holographic map of new eden of the wormhole that the pilot was supposed to drop them off in. the map again zoomed in until that half-scanned yan jung battleship came into view, like the maps the drones sent her on her wristcomp.
an Intelligence officer replied, "i can answer that, the drones in this section of Wormhole space are much more tougher in terms of armor strength and durability. there are weaknesses , as this armor is somehow electromagnetically based, much like reactive armor plating module on your suits." the officer replied with confidence.
"can an EMP disable the armor?" Junko asked to the officer, a female gallentean with brown hair wrapped in a bun.
the officer shook her head: "its not that simple, all drones are sentient, but the armor plating is linked with a main processing computer. It's believed that the Yan jung battleship automatically distributes and re-distributes power to the nessecary drones when times of emergency. the Noctis salvage team figured this out, and was able to install the yan jung's drones around its perimeter for secuirty."
'wow, imagine if we can get drones to do the heavy lifting for us' Junko thought, she wrote down more notes onto her wristcomp.
"now, the Yan jung are masters of gravity-based technology, correct?" Junko asked another question to the officer, but she shook her head.
"that much we do know, but it'll be hard to tell, maybe one the of engin.."
"ohh yes, the Y,J's capable of that and soo much more, lass" a gruff voice came from behind Junko. she turned and was suprised to see a man who towered over the rest, matching up to Junko's combat clone in height. He passed her and gave a Datapad to once of the officers in the main hangar analyzing the the information they had and more.
once he was done the man turned to Face Junko, who had a look of genuine suprise. " Kijii da name, 'ead Engineer for the op" the man proudly said, who laid out his hand.
"Junko, pleasure to meet you" she replied back, taking the man's hand with her's and shaking lightly.after a brief second the man motioned for junko to follow him, at the same time he grabbed another datapad from a nearby table and scanned through its contents.
"for an immortal, you seem pretty friendly J" Kijii said, glancing at junko.
"yeah, its kind of a weird thing among us Immortals "Junko lightly chuckled. Kijii gave out a hearty laugh, giving a good slap to junko's shoulder.
"i know how they act. its all fun n' games untill there be a mortal who can take one on inna fight... and lived to tell me tale, lass. used to be the engineer overseeing the clone transfer. many complaints from that front, i'd reckon" Kijii smiled fondly at the memories.
"so your corp outsources contracts to many mercs then huh?" Junko asked. Kijii nodded, scruffing his beard slightly.
"yeah, first to just mortal mercs, i think we started handing out contracts to immortals... hmm a few months afta Cal-prime, i'd say. but of all the ones we 'ad, we neva had one this important." Kijii finshed, looking to his left and tapping a nearby engineer.
"Systems al' ready lad?"
"Yeah, just about. control is going to launch an announcement in a few minutes."
"good, good"
As the two turned a corner, right into hangar T-13, the hangar was buzzing with activity. Engineer's and tech specialists roamed about, making the last finishing touches as Cargo-class MTAC's hauled and dropped off supplies from other operations. other ships of varying styles, designs and sizes slowly flew overhead the hangar, exiting what looks to be the station bay section.
"well this is where we part ways for now, take dis Junko. its the most recent information on da Y,J. it'll help out with de mission, and if possible; save the crew of the noctis. i know you types will only care about the mission, but at least try. it'll mean alot for the lads workin here" kijii said, handing Junko the datapad.
"Thanks kijii, i'll be sure to stop by and enjoy a beer from time to time" Junko said, giving a light smile and a nod. "ahh, the lasses in this area would love you for that, J" Kijii gave out another hearty laugh, then he nodded and walked away, leaving Junko at the Hangar.
'i think the other's are done with their grudge right about now, might be best to stop by and check... no they might already be done with it' Junko thought. She took a seat at a nearby bench and began reading through the Datapad, her wrist-comp in the process of copying and redistributing the new info.

He paused.
"With your overly fast paced attitude, we would be going in there half ready unsure if our stuff will work. Besides, it's not my call that we are still waiting, that's up to our employers. Take it up with them."
A drone hovers by, fidgeting with it's appendages.
"Drones may be disabled in countless ways, but people can be killed in an even greater variety of ways. The drones, at least, are disposable enough that we can send waves of them in to scout the place. By comparison, we only have one scout unit of our own."
Hawkeye gestures to the drone to approach.
"See that there? That little guy floating about next to us? Ask it for the map. It's incomplete, but it's what we have. Once we're on-site, we can talk about making a complete map, till then, get of your bloody high horse!"
Junko was by the door when she heard Hawk-eye arguing with sergamon. she couldn' help but smile and clap her hands.
"that's something i would've said myself." she strode along and patted Hawk eye and Sergamon on the shoulders. with a light push, she gently pushed the two mercs away from each other.
"...and given our situation, there's really not alot we can do, except prepare for the worst Sergamon" Junko said. letting out a small sigh, she reached for a utility pouch and pulled out the Datapad Kijii gave her, and showed it to both mercs.
"this Datapad contains ALL of the necessary information we need in order to at least have a fighting chance at retrieving the artifact and help the crew of the Noctis, but i'll need time to organize it into information that can give us a game plan,a strategy and most imporantly, a way out of that hellhole. i'll send out the intel to all our teammates once we are en route to the Yan jung relic."
"Whats more important; had i not decided to talk with the command crew and all the intelligence officers and engineering specialists, we would've geared up, headed straight to the yan jung relic, and would be slaughtered within a fraction of a second, with no guarantees that we can transfer back to our bodies."
Then, her tone got serious as she stared at sergamon, with a subtle annoyed expression on her face.
"so you want to do this mission now? ok then, i just got word that the engineer's need someone for an outside maintenence op, straight out the air lock, you want in?"
Junko waited a few seconds before answering for sergamon
"thats a good boy, now pipe down, i need to tell the others about this information, i'll see ya around hawk-eye" Junko said, with a slight smile. she slid the datapad back at the utility pouch, grabbed her helmet and left, searching for the rest of the team. a technician was busy walking with a stuff full of goods and Junko decided to flag him down.

"why did the techie led me back to the hangar for god sakes." Junko said, rubbing her gloved hand against her forehead, again following the lights back to the armory when she heard a small thump! Turning the corner, she saw what looked to be like the woman that was alongside Adamance during the briefing. but she looked frightened, scared.
with a interesting turn of events, she bumped into the wall and scurried off. rounding the corner, she nearly crashed into Junko as she darted away. "Oi! watch yourself!" Junko nonchalantly said without thinking. then she began thinking..
"huh... what was her name again... satj-sajt.... Satja?" Junko asked herself. she raked her brain, searching for something that would identify her.
Then she laid eyes on a small book, right where she saw Satja bumped herself in the wall.
"Hey! lady! you dropped your...." Junko stopped midsentece as she picked up the leatherbound book. at first she couldn't make out what the symbols meant, but then she said to herself silently;
"The Pax Amarria?" Junko asked herself. now her head stopped thinking about the information she wanted to give to Adamance, Denak and the others; her curiostiy peaked and she turned around to where satja bumped into her.
"that explains alot" Junko said to herself, she slid the pax amarria into one of her utility pouches and started walking.
'if i had to guess;.... the conference room' Junko thought as she made her way across the maze of corridors, poking her head in some rooms, passing by others. she wanted to ask the other techies if she saw a Matari woman running somewhere, but she decided against it.
After a few minutes, she stood at the doorway to the conference room. she wanted to go inside and look around but she had second guesses. 'this might be where she can feel safe, a port in the storm' she thought. finally she decided to go in. Junko though it would be best to converse with her this time in her native,Thukker tongue. it had similarities to the common Matari dialect, but it was what she knew, aside from the Sebiestor Dialect.
she waved her hand on the open monitor and the door slid open. she set aside her helmet, laying it on the ground and poked her head in.

She was shaking. What would the woman do to her? Would she try to convince her to run....or fight...or....or.... who knew what.
As she entered Satja bowed low, respectfully, unwilling to meet her eyes, be they kind, or cruel, or judging.
"Ashaltiasten Ms Junko.... h-how might I serv... I mean what can I do for you."
" whoa, whoa, whoa. calm down Satja" Junko said, raising her hands defensively. she walked a little closer, aware that she's probably Scaring her half to death. she unholstered the scrambler rifle she had on her back and set it against a wall, near the door. she made every attempt at calming satja down, when she remembered the book.
" Breathe Satja, you look like you about to face god himself. I'm not gonna hurt ya, i just came by because you dropped this..." Reaching into her utility pouch on her right leg, she pulled out the leatherbound book, reaching out with it.
"...and enough with the formalities, please. We are Sisters, you and I" Junko said with a smile. She used the term Sisters in Thukker custom, referring to another fellow Matari Female. she sat down, cross-legged, close to satja, but far enough that she could maintain her space.

Sisters, the word thrilled her as she had always wished for a sister, instead of the two brothers she had been "blessed" with. The very same brothers who made her youth miserable.
She took a deep breath, as Junko had suggested, it was cathartic. Slowly the nervousness fell away, the pair sat in a comfortable, companionable silence.
Such as it was she barely noticed as her raven hair slipped from her shoulder, falling across her back, revealing a section of the burns and heavy scarring.
It was exciting talking freely, or so she supposed, with an immortal, more over one of her former people, and to use her native language again..... to not feel like she was making herself a fool.... an exquisite feeling indeed.
"So....uh...Ms Junko.... may I ask what brought you here.... I mean...that I...well....I mean you don't really seem like much of a ....soldier..." She squeaked out the last word.... clasping a hand over her mouth with a mild blend of shock and curiosity, as though she was surprised at herself for asking, but curious nonetheless.
Junko knew the question before Satja even finished saying "here" but she allowed Satja to continue, right up until the end, when she clasped a hand over her mouth. 'hard question to ask, even harder to answer without spilling the beans' Junko thought. but she covered up her thoughts with a soft chuckle.
"good observation Satja. your right, Before i was a Soldier, i was a pilot." She said, in her dialect. Junko then opened her arms out for a small fraction of a second.
"big cargo ships, the mammoth-class to be precise. T.F S'eterra, that was the name of my Ship. but i wasn't a capsuleer, oh no i was the captain of that ship. a good crew as well, from every single background you can imagine.

Satja stared at the woman, lips parted, the whole affair sounded so exciting, so debonair. Roaming the stars aboard a ship, eking out a living here and there. She knew the feeling as her duty ensured that she was stationed aboard starships while Kador was on duty.
"And what did you transport? Where to? I mean...well" She asked, gushing. " It sounds wonderful....Have you seen those storm planets from space... so beautiful."
She briefly revisited the moment she had seen her homeworld from space, aboard one of a dozen slave ships, how Camden had asked them which of them wanted to come with him back to the empire, how she had gone, clasping her father's hand, with the glares of her brothers and mother like daggers.
She discarded the train of thought. It mean nothing to her now, she was happy as she was.
Junko liked conversing with Satja, it made the memories of the old days very nostalgic, and she let out a small sigh.
"ahh, everything. planetary goods, raw materials, salvaged ships, antiques, engine parts, passengers, the whole nine yards" Junko replied, using her fingers to count our the things she transported and hauled.
"..and every part of Min-Gal and Caldari space you could imagine.Had to, because you can't make a living by just working for one faction. i studied alot of languages as i could, trying to make a sense of the world i was about to fly into. helps when your crew could speak multiple languages, so that helped.
when i upgraded into the Mastodon class transports, i made a few passes into null-sec, but it was time-consuming. every single gate was bubbled, with caps stationed at every gate, just itching to blast whatever is there. and the cloaking module we had was very new, which caused a few problems with the ships electronics, ooh boy!
I tried to take a few contracts in amarr space, but you know... " Junko raised her hands up to her shoulders and shrugged .
"...me being matari and everything."
when she asked about the storm planets, she smiled slightly shaking her head.
"yeah, they are pretty. one of the crew members i had back then was an artist, and painted one of the storm planets we passed by while on leave, somewhere i think.... in keikaken? maybe. when we saw it we sent it to his family. on the back of the canvas we wrote all of our names in the back, as to say " your son is still kicking" " Junko said, she quietly laughed at the thought.
Satja Askarin wrote: " I love being able to travel the stars.... It's incredible..."
Junko smiled and nodded with Satja. "yeah it is... so long as nothing decides to make you a frozen popsicle" Junko joked.

Satja Askarin wrote: "Understood Classiarii, on my way."
She turned to face the Matari woman, bowing low, in a respectful gesture, rising with a smile on her face, deep brown eyes flashing.
"Many apologies Junko, it was a pleasure to sit and talk with you...but I have matters to be attending. I would be appreciative if perhaps we might do this again at a later time."
Junko looked at satja when she recieved the messages. she noted her face turning somber, but not as sullen as before.
but when she bowed to Junko, she also observed her smiling, a genuine smile . as if she needed just someone to talk to, someone where she can be herself. after she heard Satja wanting to talk to her again, Junko smiled and bowed lightly as well.
"Dont mention it, find me at Cal-space and we can talk over a few beers, sis. It's nice meeting ya" Junko gave a small wink as she rose up, activated her Neocom and was suprised to hear the general timer down to 10 minutes, less than 10 to be exact.
matters aside, she quickly decided to compose a small message for satja,in an Old Thukker Dialect for her. a parting gift before deciding against it and grabbed her scrambler rifle. loading the magazine with practiced care and slinging it over her back, the maglock activating with a Click Thunck!
once the rifle was secure she grabbed her helmet and dashed off to the Hangar
HANGAR T-13
'hmm the pilgrim class cruiser. fitted with advanced cloaking modules, all the Ewar equipment we need, first i'll need to link up with the Support teams' Junko thought as she entered the modified Pilgrim. but when she noted the other members of her team, she remembered the Information she carried.
'crap, i need to distribute this intel' she thought quickly,as she entered the cargohold, where she saw hawk-eye,Galm, and Ermac chatting well about the mission at hand when she heard ermac say:
Ermac Vessly wrote:"Oh yeah, I'm not going to join the main team; I'll go with Galm for the data. I hope you guys can handle this with the "hot shots" in our team"
"in fat-suits?" Junko quipped, entering the conversation. She smiled and slightly shook her head with a slight chuckle. she unhooked her scrambler rifle and set it against her as shemade her way to a seat near the entrance.
"as far as i know, Jester, Myself and Denak are the fastest members of the squad as of right now, and since the Bridge to the yan jung structure is a long ways away, it'll take a scout with a cloaking module to get through our opposition" she said as she booted up her Neocom. "sorry to say this Ermac, but you'll be sticking with the "Hot shots" of our team until the navcom is hacked" Junko said with a mischievous smile

"If I may?" he asked sincerely, pausing briefly as if waiting or any objections, "You're absolutely right about the scout suits. We need soldiers inside that ship who can slip in an out quickly and covertly, but we also can't rely too heavily on the abilities of a handful of cloaking mechanisms. If even one of those fail you could stir up a nest of gods know what without any offensive or defensive capabilities outside of your combat styles that are typically geared only towards anti-personnel combat. Our 'fat-suits' on the other hand have weight taken off the external frame. That makes us just as fast as any standard infantry unit while still maintaining mission capability over a broad range of possible contacts. We might not be infiltrators, but we make damn good suppression fighters if need be and you are going to need someone who can operate a swarm launcher or an anti-material rifle with enough ammunition to draw any threats away from the scout team.
My suggestion? Only take one of us with you. It can be me or Ermac, I frankly don't care which as long as you feel comfortable with the level of support."
Junko listened sincerely ,taking in Glam's ideas and nodding to herself with what Galm said. once he was done
"which is why most of us will act as decoys to distract whatever is inside that ship. commando units will fan out and set off remote explosives at random locations. then lead them all away from our scout. once our scout is in the bridge, the rest of the team that is not among the decoy group with link up with the scout and begin hacking.
We will lose clones, as tough as it is for me to say that, but i'll be among the decoy group, it'll be my job to keep that group alive while the navcom is hacked. once done, we'll fallback to the noctis and rearm, then make our way back to the bridge and continue from there." Junko replied, interfacing with the same channel. she manuvered her Neocom to her notes and pulled them out. preparing to send the intel.
"there is another method, but for now we'll need to get a scan of the ship before we can use any game plan"
"which is why... its simply complicated"Junko's recording of her voice played, and then she switched to her team's comms with a smile.
" which is why I've decided to give you all something to chew on" she said as she pressed a button, sending her summary to her entire team.
