But it does amuse me that these people to whom I refer are unable to kill me with their vehicles (or have no faith in their ability to do so) and use an infantry tactic instead. We ended in a stalemate; neither of us could kill the other without inherent risk. We departed, me making my way to the inner complex to reinforce a squadmate tanker countertanking a railgun. Then a JLAV comes from behind and dispatches me. It was the stalemate tanker. He sent me gloat mail afterwards; I dismissed it saying that he had no guts to take ME out with a STD tank when I only had MILITIA. Now I do approve of JLAV because of the uselessness of traditional AV; I have used JLAV countless times. Though when a self-proclaimed tanker can't do his job (tank vs tank) and he would rather play an easier way out, I award him no mancard.

Tanks are too OP right now with no balance on the horizon, at least Jihad LAVS give an actual counter. Yes HAVs are scrub right now, they are complete easy mode since AV was nerfed into near uselessness. I find it funny that tankers complain about people hoping into JLAVS but they can't be bothered to hop out of the tank.

I usually end up destroying the JLAV a few more times and then they simply give up. There was one game where this one person kept trying to JLAV me the whole game, but I'd always get him. I think I'm honestly going to miss JLAVs. They are a true test to a pilot's battlefield awareness. I've only been blown up several times, and I felt no rage. Even if there was some rage, it was just momentarily. Getting soloed in one clip by proto AV pre 1.7 would've made me rage a lot more. There was even this one JLAV which I ended up helping in blowing me up. I managed to get a lucky missile hit on the driver and killed him out of the seat and the LAV rolled to a stop right in front of me. I decided to blow it up on the spot, but unbeknownst to me, I ended up blowing up a JLAV right in front of me which made me blow up in turn haha! Oh and there was another JLAV that circled me multiple times before blowing me up. Initially, it came towards me dead on, but appeared to swerve at the last moment and avoided me. I thought "OK, must be some terrible driver that doesn't want to be blown up." I only thought this even more as he circled me as close as possible and I thought that he was avoiding my missile turret so he wouldn't die. If the simple Sound priority and proximity would make sense in DUST 514 for anything other then weapon sounds... So say you could hear a LAV with full engine whined at a reasonable distance.... Yet a dropship will take over all sound priority 500m in the air and away from you as the LAV is 100m Away.... Footsteps have this problem... They just get drowned out by sounds that have more priority... devoid of proximity to where you actually are.

ISK efficient tactic should do less damage....bwahahaha says the guy in the red line with a rail tank....bwhahahaha. At least a JLAV has to cross the battlefield. We can pickle that.
