how many districts does TSO have? TSO plan was to push NS and AE out of PCland and take their districts. So controlling x % of pcland and wanting to control x % of pcland is nothing different. Only perspective is different.

Was thinking about getting involved in EvE and buying a gaming PC.... So is eve fun? cause it was boring as sin when I tried a free 1 month trial like 6-7 years ago or whatevs.

For a computer noob, how much would it cost roughly to buy or build a gaming PC these days? its been so long

None of this is unexpected cause predictable people are predictable (i can actually finish my blog finally), the only surprise is it happened 2 weeks sooner than i thought, but i'll tack that up to a CPM advantage.

This was great fun while you guys CHOSE to pursue attacking RA, just happened to be...no one ever asked you to fight anyone's war...just had a mutual goal you decided on prior.

here's the kicker... all that time, NF is taking **** from tso on the eve side. As ive said before there were communication snafus from both sides, multiple times, things that also noted here were hashed out and we all moved on.
I can't personally shed definitive light on this...only that I am aware that communication in numerous instances put Tso's pilots in the wrong place at the wrong time sitting around doing nothing...and NF was well aware that Tso's was providing eve for a miniscule fee because they were interested in FIGHTS, not primarily isk.

Now I hear of crying over the isk... also laughable. sure the amount is laughable compared to eve isk.

But please, just for a second, look at it from our viewpoint. This is not a difficult thing to understand. Fiddle actually covered most bases.

We hire Tso's to provide eve support. no politics no nothing. Price is negotiated and we all go to work. Happy days.

some snags slow things, mostly communication issues, times, locations, not sent in a timely manner. Talks are made, tempers calmed, life back to normal.

Next, NF attacks a new tso member, whilst locking is prevalent across the board. Yes causes an issue (although seriously in all honesty.. I sent the attack, and only saw an 'online' district and jumped at it. nothing more).
ML had been in Tso's for 3 weeks when attacked, and the only issue was whether FA could defend ML [cubs clarified that was a non issue and we were all happy to go forward, Kane indicated he wanted to work with cookie towards a broader NAP of which details were never completed for reasons beyond my knowledge]

so we have a Pow-Wow cooler heads (after SoTa is bound and gagged) prevail and life once again goes on, with the exception of the super secret handshake backroom under the table deal between FA and NF finally comes to light....

now tso expects this NAP to apply to all of them.
This is the only blatant lie in this post i've read. Neither I, nor any rep from Tso's @ the pow wow asked for Tso's to fully NAP with NF. NF wanted to use the NAP so they wouldn't be paying for eve....which could have been worked out long term but as previously noted...kane said he would work with cookie...and we never heard another word.

in addition...the deal to pay tso's for eve side favored NF in the first place because it hinged on the money being paid weekly to the tune covering 10 battles...but as time wore on 10 battles were achieved in 2-3 days of the week...prompting Tso's to renegotiate the terms as well...again I'm just a dust toon so i dunno specifics, only that payment became an issue from NF's side because of the way it was setup.

Ok fine whatever no problem, but NF still pays Tso for support... so NF cant accept contracts against Tso, AND have to pay Tso for continued support... yea this is about the part of the story where you can start to see why we now are where we are..
So as previously stated FA was cool defending our alliance while our NAP was in place is NF wanted to flip some Tso's districts.

Anyhoo, yes NF has and remains in talks with many groups in New Eden. We are mercenaries and are always looking ahead and not just stuck spinning wheels in the present.

NF was well aware of a certain 'contract' offered to members of Tso for the eradication of AE (as well as a separate contract for successful NS removal).
A contract we ourselves despised because as I've always said I want RA in PC...pc will be stale without RA.

We made no mention of it, but after a couple weeks, it became quite apparent that NF was doing more than their fair share of working toward this contract that they knew nothing about (officially) and most certainly were not offered the added incentive (even a % of the contract) of being privy to said contract.

This was never a secret...more like envy..RA attacked me and I responded...someone approached me about a contract...well, NF is pissy about not being the ones to get it...and are bringing this up why? Justification? If you wanted all of it I'd have given it...I just wanted good fights without making dust a chore...but #tankspam blitzing all our districts is a chore..so no big deal...I established myself as competent as a merc corp a month after forming FA, and i'm quite obliged to ring again

No one asked NF to fight AE for Tso's. if they had NF should have asked for a price to fight them..you fought them for isk...which you made during the lock up selling their districts, also happened to make you guys super cool for standing up to the big empire on the block.

I got slapped down and called a trouble maker. It's now an on-going joke about my behavior during that meeting. And, as it turns out, I was ******* right. And it was for Tso benefit I made my voice known, and it was by Tso voices that I was told to shut up.

It's like I'm 16 again watching my old RTS community from the side lines. Accept this time I warned everyone.

I wipe my hands clean now of this thread and topic. As that was my frustration honestly over all this. I tried everything I could to keep Tso and NF happy with each other. I failed. And now I just hope I didn't lose my friends in Tso.

As a newbie to EvE myself I can say this - it's an incredible game. There's so much to explore and do - and you're given that sandbox feel right from the start on what you want to do. And if you can't decide - follow tutorials.

I can't believe I actually read every post up to here. +1 to me, that was a long read full of political whatthefuckery.

Also, I learned something today! Another +1 to me, its been a good day.

What I learned today is that I really couldn't care any less about the politics, I just want to fight, and get paid. I will run whatever role or suit I am required to run in whatever battle I get asked to join - This is what makes me happy.

Having friends in all of the above listed corps/alliances in this thread is great, and this really is the best part about the whole Dust/EvE thing. Mindsets switch from one minute to the next, friends be come enemies, the enemy of my enemy is my friend and the cycle continues.

I can't wait to get home from work and have 12 solid days off with a decent internet connection so I can actually be useful in the upcoming PC battles, rather than do my best with the limited, not so specialized suits I have to run to have a buffer to compensate for the huge lag I get from this job site camps incredibly broken internet.
