i hope they do in time because players that have left the game wont even come back to take part in the event unless a respec is confirmed...

I just read that a RESPEC is definitely, possibly, probably, most likely, maybe or maybe not confirmed or denied.

They gave us a heavy SP gain event,and now they're giving us the chance to earn 1 million SP.
So,I would assume 2+2=No respec
But because they recognise the changes are dramatic,they are willing to give us an SP cushion to fall back on.

Im for full respec, but without their responce it whole be only hzpotetical.
About day i really dont think they are "longsighted" like this, but hope still dying last

Consider the push to get the new suits and weapons out.
There are other vehicles and weapons on the way that will not make it into 1.8.
If they continue to finish those projects as a priority, then a total respec later would make the most sense.
Look at tanks now, they are going to be balanced again. Don't you think the vehicle community will want a respec when the new Amarr and Minmatart tanks and balance passes hit?
CCP is notoriously stingy with respecs so it doesn't make sense to assume they would hand out two in a short span of time.
Not that I am against them doing that, it just doesn't seem likely that they will.

Give me a respec and I'll invest all my points into a Minmatar Basic Light Frame, Flaylock Pistols, Plasma Canons, and Rep Tools.
I will then laugh at all the FotM arguments as I gracefully take my 11th place spot in pub domination matches! BRING IT ON!!!! |

I took a break maybe a month ago. I browse the forums every so often to see when 1.8 hits. If we don't get a sp refund or respec I doubt I ever come back.

Boyo now they implement few thibgies and "later" the balance for HAV, that "later" will be another quarter/half/soon of year.

There have been like 3 sp events, plus another one announced and you've gotten 3 months of passive & active since this event has been announced. Read between the lines - you're not getting a respec. |

I'm fairly certain that ccp knows whether or not it's happening, but are being mute about it to avoid the backlash. Confirmation, even negative would be greatly appreciated so I could plan. I have been saving sp but would like to spend said sp because I am a bad saver. |

But vehicle users would have minmitar and amarr vehicles already unlocked since the skill for tanks unlocks both tanks. Meaning when the new tanks drop, they already have em.

Yes, we are all aware that you pro-respec'ers are trying to destroy DUST.
But CCP kinda wants this game to succeed, so they give out these bonus SP. Kinda in the way you go along with demands for pizza, but not a helicopter, when a failed bank robber is holding hostages. |

You can't make "informed" choices based on speculative theory. We know racial parity is coming up, but how soon? Should you not play while your heavy suit doesn't exist? Or your tank of choice? Should you run free gear and get eaten up to save sp for maybe whenever? We have racial pistols and rifles finally and base suits, but no heavy weapons or vehicles/turrets. Some specialized weapon types are still on the way. If you snipe you have one choice, the caldari sniper. Point being, it's just not fun to have to wait, some of us want to play now. |

Hmm like heavy for example, dont sped money on amarr heavy if i wanted to be a heavy and there basicaly wasnt any other choise?!
By your definition i should wait two years for implementation and till that time played something else?!
