I have plans for both scenarios, this decision will not make or break DUST, but it will cause a shift in the player - CCP relationship, for better or worse. Also, most people who would be that up in arms are currently or have been paying customers to this free game, so they tend to have more of an investment in how their SP is handled when CCP decides to just shake things up again. Kinda in the way you go along with demands for pizza, but not a helicopter, when a failed bank robber is holding hostages. not sure if troll or just a tunnelvision scrub. scout was weakened for no reason several times due to core mechanic changes. first speed was lowered accross the board long time ago because CCP could not fix hit detection properly without bandaids, aim assist got introcuded and super 360 degree scanners got released. pile of SP made unviable by CCPs lack of common sense. so what, I adapted and skilled into minmatar logi with mass driver to be a fast hacking support. I dumped alot of SP into equipment and other stuff. mass driver got weaker and I skilled into CR. and what happens in 1.8? equipment gains a nerf accross the board and you receive a specialization bonus for the suit for only one type of equipment. to add more insult into this they will also change my minmatar hacking logi. the suit I skilled into will not longer be available. so in short, I did everything right, I decided to skill into something and specialized, I lived with my choices and adapted on every change but CCP systematically makes my choices null and void and ruins it on every occassion with their bad decisions. every patch there is some kind of core mechanic that is changed affecting what I skilled into. this is not how EVE is supposed to work but on CCP Shanghais part it is all fine as long as kids throw money of their parents at this lobby shooter. so if CCP really wants to succeed, maybe they can stop doing poor decision nonstop and apply some common sense? enough is enough.

Small % balance passes on targeted issues have never been an argument for respecs. That is not what this is about, because it's not just a couple little things being brushed over to smooth out balance.
