People who think them showering us with SP somehow negates the initial argument for respecs clearly do no understand nor grasp the initial argument for respecs in the first place

You can't make "informed" choices based on speculative theory. We know racial parity is coming up, but how soon? Should you not play while your heavy suit doesn't exist? Or your tank of choice? Should you run free gear and get eaten up to save sp for maybe whenever? We have racial pistols and rifles finally and base suits, but no heavy weapons or vehicles/turrets. Some specialized weapon types are still on the way. If you snipe you have one choice, the caldari sniper. Point being, it's just not fun to have to wait, some of us want to play now.
This is really what it breaks down to:
Whether you're focused on 'DUST 514 Theoretical' or 'DUST 514 Actual'

FoTM players are a product of bad balance, not respecs when big changes like these come through (read: changes, not additions)
Plus, you aren't going to purge anything by pissing people off. All you do is create more Planetside bombers and detract from what little positive momentum the community has behind it.
If CCP builds a stable foundation and only occasionally does slight % passes on base material, legitimate arguments for respecs die. Fact.

I'm just amusing myself in the interim.
I have plans for both scenarios, this decision will not make or break DUST, but it will cause a shift in the player - CCP relationship, for better or worse.

There's a difference between quitting, and taking an extended break.
Also, most people who would be that up in arms are currently or have been paying customers to this free game, so they tend to have more of an investment in how their SP is handled when CCP decides to just shake things up again.
Time will tell, patch is most likely on the 25th so we will know soon.
Also, I am now officially a group of people. We like sushi, chinese food, and exotic dancers. Please send them to us post haste so that we may be appeased.

Change is the only constant, do we make respecs also constant?
Small % balance passes on targeted issues have never been an argument for respecs.
That is not what this is about, because it's not just a couple little things being brushed over to smooth out balance. We've beaten this to death though in the proper thread, so, on that note
