Linky? Not because i don't believe you, but I would like to see what was said.
JJ may have been unintended but that does not mean that the sticky was. I can't really see how RE became accidentally sticky.
Really if the become unable to stick to vehicles I will be very disappointed, not because of tossing them on my own vehicle, but because it RE are perhaps the most effective form of AV we have. Sticking them on an Red HAV is effective, as well as a serious challenge (unless the driver is completely oblivious). Effectively this is the only form of AV that is working well (unless you include JJ, that **** works great).

I don't even use them but, that is just stupid.
Just remove anything that may be used as AV.
Put HAV parking on every objective.
Implement Proto vehicles, and make them cheaper than a MLT ScP.

If 1.8 is ****** enough, I'm going to enjoy a 1-2 month break away from this game, I've been putting off other games to enjoy this one. It's not like PC is going to get much better any time soon, and I don't think they've added a new game mode for this path or probably the next two, so yeah....if they take away the sticky RE's and proxy mine sticky effect, then I have no use for this game in its current form. |

Just because we are very powerful now doesn't mean the pendulum has to switch and tanks get completely annihilated balance does not mean run infantry see tank swap to swarm instapop go back to infantry.

BTW, attaching them is not the problem, they will lose a great part of their AV effectiveness if CCP delete that part.

Pretty sure that's not true. The bug they were referring to caused RE's that were stuck to a jeep to become glued to a wall as it drove by or bumped into it.

Ontop of being able to use the Engineer's RPG's on AV, we can run up to tanks and stick them with C4 or Jihad LAV in Battlefield 4. Also, we can hot drop them onto enemy HAV's using the light assault's jets to fly in and above them in Planetside 2. It'd be sad if this game took away this feature because RE's are more effective at what it does when they stick. It'll be one less option this game has to counter AV that other FPS do. Bad move imo. |

I hope its not true, even though it most often leads to a death, one of my great amusements in Dust at the moment is having tanks drive off from my little scout like they are fleeing satan himself.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.
