WTF WTF WTF So you're pissed off you couldn't solo a tank. That explains a lot. Actually he's pissed that the guy can teleport in and out of his vehicle as a crutch. That's been a problem for forever, and will likely stay a problem for a while.
The tanker was already obviously a bad for sticking around to have REs placed on him, grenades tossed and swarms being fired, nevermind that he gets rewarded for being bad by having a teleport with a ton of EHP in and out of the vehicle. It's a crutch that's the result of poor development and little more.

Right, which is one of the reasons tanks will always be OP, they are a suit over another suit. They can be dropped and then put back on. Tankers should be stuck in their "tank suit" until they die or reach a supply point, just like everbody else.

You are aware that this sinario is an AV scout vs a tank AND A PROTO HEAVY! If that isn't being "under heavy enemy pressure" I don't know what is!
Did the scout run away? NO! THE F***ING HEAVY DID! This was a 1v1 and scouts never run from a 1v1, they simply reposition themselves to take out the target (lose line of sight then flank around behind them for the kill) in which case they are not trying to recover (even if they have 0 armor) but are simply giving themselves an edge over there OP enemy.
Will we run away if it's 1v2? Sometimes but even then 1 tank vs 2 AV = tank better run or he's an idiot (or just OP).
This tanker had every advantage but both his gun game AND his tanking skills sucked and so he was forced to run his fat ass to the red line!

Teleporting is fine... INSTANTANEOUS teleporting is the issue. (If you're close enough, a pilot can hop out and kill you before you even get a target lock.)

Except dropsuits don't have 4000-5000 base HP, hardeners (which btw can be cycled allowing for permanent AV invulnerability), speeds of 20m/s, or the ability to be recalled at any location on the field. Also Shield tanks have passive reps just like dropsuits and armor reps are also passive just like dropsuits, so your point makes no sense.

yup you're right carlos do you guys think after i kill a tank with my mods i run and recall nope if my mods have to cool down then they have to cool on ly scrubs run a tank that at every little hit they run ivr had 5 real tankf fights whrn the enemy and i actually fought instead of him runnin |

Then how come tankers didn't use "tactics" before 1.7? They just whined about AV until it got nurfed like those type of players always do. That's not tactics?! That's CCP' s uncanny ability to create inbalance. The amount of things they have brought into this game to help the guys who don't have true tactics is unreal. They need to stop creating things without weaknesses. Vehicle operators should be in vehicle operator suits. Not any other suit. So if he jumps out he's a dead man. That's fair since if he's in the tank he's f****** invincible. Scrambler rifles have great dmg, but are semi auto with heat build up. Heavies have a lot of hp, but there slow. Scouts are fast with little hp. Balance. Tankers are fast, with massive hp, range, lots of dmg, can detect proxies, swarms and other AV weapons were nerfed, and if there tank is destroyed they can just jump out in a heavy?!? Unbalance. I bet CCP can't say balance with a straight face.

That's fair since if he's in the tank he's f****** invincible. Scrambler rifles have great dmg, but are semi auto with heat build up. Heavies have a lot of hp, but there slow. Scouts are fast with little hp. Balance. Tankers are fast, with massive hp, range, lots of dmg, can detect proxies, swarms and other AV weapons were nerfed, and if there tank is destroyed they can just jump out in a heavy?!? Unbalance. I bet CCP can't say balance with a straight face.
Tankers did before 1.7.
Back before 1.7 there was a highly skilled and knowledgible player base of HAV pilots who could do ridiculous things in the face of poor game mechanics and horribly powerful AV.
Now, post 1.7 vehicle apocalypse Tankers require no skill at all, anyone can do it, .0SP and 70k isk is all you need.
However even post 1.7 you still have a higher class of tanker would can wipe the floor with the newer, less experienced crowd.
Just ignore anyone who thinks 1.7 tanking is difficult or requiring skill.

He had a heavy and planned for the worst it seems and while you were occupied with killing him instead of his vehicle it gave the vehicle enough time to start clawing back its HP so then by the time you nearly kill him he just got back in and drop away
