This happened yesterday. Well to be more clear this type of thing happened for a good hour or two that I played ambush until finally there was a city map with actual cover.

The enemy did not get even one single kill. CCP this type of thing is certainly pushing new players away from the game. AV needs to be buffed. Spawns need to seriously be reworked. The only guy on the enemy team to receive any warpoints got 650 WP I assume from uplinks.
I just thought I would show this as it was the worst stomp I have ever seen in my year + of playing DUST 514. (Every member on my side above me was in a tank fyi)

Ridiculous. I think I was in that match. (Manus Peak?) I was on the stomping team but I had to quit because I had to get to work. Previous match it was the same. Carbon 7 and Duna corp on the same side spamming tanks.

Yep manus peak. Yes it was that way for a good hour or two. I was both against them and put with them. It made for boring games on both sides. Its ridiculous. |

I think there's no need to hammer point home any more - there's a drastic issue here, but until CCP break out of their self-imposed silence (or come back from holiday again).. then I think we can only guess as to what their suggested solution will be. |

This is why I stay away from ambush. This happens a lot, but you rarely get to see a picture to go along with it. Not a single kill, so imbalanced.

I have played ambush matches for about a year. Granted there have always been problems, most noteably with the poor spawn locations and systems. Regardless though it has never been as painful as it has been since 1.7 landed.
Only very occasionally now do you get decent good honest fights in ambush. This used to be the norm.
CCP Please can we can an infantry only ambush? OR please do something. |

Its not a hate thread. Its also certainly not specific to your corp or even DUNA and his corp (Even though he is notorious for this) it is a balance issue.
Come on dude look at that. 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , etc.... It is totally wrong and is losing CCP customers by the bucket load. (CCP has enough problems with dust as it is) |

So y'all played like old, bloated and mean spirited men who can only find pleasure in the abject failure of others. Makes sense, then, for you to roll around in tanks. Stack the odds so the only possible outcome is a crushing loss by the cranberries.
Now I have no love for the '72 'phins, but they didn't dominate the field that season due to superior talent/equipment, they went undefeated because they were a strong team that got lucky a few times (ask Syracuse if they'd rather be lucky or good after last night). |

Its embarrassing how low people have got. AV does need a buff. The lower end standard grade AV more so than the others but they ALL need some sort of buff. |

I'm sorry but that is nonsense. Even on Battlefield 3 on the smallest of maps with 64 players in deathmatch there is no spawn trapping like there is in DUST.
Spawns need to be put in better locations, they also need to spawn blues AWAY from red dots. Basically tweaks and a better spawn system would be all it would take. I do also believe map design is a bit of a problem in this regard. That is something CCP will have to learn about through their mistakes but it would not be a major problem, again just tweaks and changes.

IMO, while ambush has always been a little broken, it's way worse now. Part of it can be explained by tankbush, but the whole "smart spawn" (biggest troll mechanic evar) thing is just an abject failure in every possible respect.
There needs to be a small protected spawn area somewhere, maybe a moving MCC or something (that just drops you, you can't sit in it) to keep it from being instakill on spwaning like it often degenerates too.

This is what happens when there is NOTHING to do in DUST but run Pub's...
We Need private matches and PC 2.0 that the general DUST community can participate in to stop these pub stomps.. Otherwise bored people group up to be less bored and carnage ensues. |

fors ome reason yesterday it was a massacre after the other with stacked teams pitted against randoms, who I could tell were either traumatized or had no clue because they would constantly crouch and move like they were playing gearsofwort
but now I get to play spambushes where at first it looks like one side is gonna stomp the other hands down and then things change drastically 5 minutes into the match.
