In particular, the more than likely removal of the "+1 to clip size of Minmatar Explosive Weapons". I understand why you would want to change that, in particular with the buff the Mass Driver is getting, but, could we instead change it to "+1 to ammo capacity of Minmatar Explosive Weapons per level"? Please? Pretty please with lamb kebab on top. Oh, what if I use some math, could that sway the discussion, then fine, I'll try the big city math stuffs.

As can be gleamed, the Mass Driver gains the least ammo for maxed out Ammo Capacity, with all 3 variants gaining less than a clip, with only one other weapon Variant gaining less than a full clip (Specialist Shotgun). For 932,760 SP, the Mass Driver gains very little. However, if this was augmented by the Minmatar Assault Bonus, the numbers would drastically improve-
Mass Driver (Vanilla/Breach) Min Assault Lvl 5 23 rounds/ 6 round clip/ 3.833 clips 28 rounds/ 6 round clip/ 4.667 clips +.8337 clips, but from pure base (0 SP: +1.667)
Mass Driver (Assault) Min Assault Lvl 5 32 rounds/ 8 round clip/ 4 clips 37 rounds/ 8 round clip/ 4.625 clips +.625 clips, but from pure base (0 SP: +1.25 clips)
While some might see this as OP, what with the damage buff, I feel the 3,420,120 SP required to get 1.25-1.667 clip increase should balance this out.
Thoughts community? I would enjoy some feedback, debate, telling me how wrong I am. I do realize the rifles are having some changes coming to them, but, I'm using what I know for sure right now. If anyone sees any errors, please bring them to my attention before I consider putting this in feedback.

No I want that bonus, is good for my Min fit. If Amarr get to keep heat reduction we should get to have mag size bonus.
Also give caldarri gallante better bonuses.

I don't understand your complaints, the Assault bonus was for projectile and explosive weapons, that only includes combat rifles, SMG, and Mass drivers...and flaylocks.
What is the new bonus to be?

There is a good chance that the buff to mass drivers also includes a buff to the ammo capacity also. It is one of the most obvious things CCP could do.

First, OK as most people said it only applies to projectiles and explosives. Second... NO! Seriously why do you want it changed? The minmatar assault has been one of the worse suits in the game since it came out. We have the lowest HP and that is compensated by being marginally faster, which wait, every other suit can get back because they have more than two lows! We finally get some good news of why to spec into minassault and it takes a few seconds for people to want it changed. What would be the advantages of having more ammo really? We want clip size! I've been spraying people with hundred round clips for a long time and you've never complained, why start now?
I appreciate all your maths but what I appreciate more is the first good news in minmatar assault history, other than being created for cannon fodder that is. |

Technically by the Model Amarrian dropsuits are UP too, being significantly slower, for a mere 30 HP gain at base level.

There mighttttt be a buff to the clip to albeit probably a smaller than the former min bonus. It is a good reason to want to remove the bonus to Min Assault if there is a buff coming, balance the MD itself not on the back of a suit.

I do not want more ammo. I already have a Quantum Nanohive fitting setup, along with that there is the ammo skill that gives you more ammo. Buff that skill instead.
Minmatar suits are hit and run. We need to have a bonus that allows for more hit, which is what the Explosive Weapon clip bonus will provide.
I swear, everytime we get something nice...

You do realize that they stated somewhere (I'll hunt for it) that due to the DAMAGE BUFF they were strongly considering removing the +1 to clip size? No, for someone on the forums as much as you, that's pathetic.
