As you have allowed players to respec a vehicle.
For the next update, the infantry players will they have this respec too?
You change the whole nature of the infantry by this new update.
I shall reopen this issue every day until an official response.

You can annoy them or you can wait for them to make a decision. Just about every day CCP Saberwing says that it is still being debated.

Assume Dropsuit Command, Dropsuit Upgrades, and Weaponry will all be respecced. Essentially everything that wasn't refunded in 1.7 will be returned to you in 1.8 (sans Corp skills)

If we don't get upgrades that's really not that much of a loss since essentially all of those skills would benefit whatever suit you specced into to some capacity.
I do however think that Weapons must be paired with Dropsuit Command, otherwise those wishing to spec out of heavies will essentially get screwed with weapons they can't use.

Suits and guns only doesn't even make sense. Dropsuit Command definitely needs a respec, and Dropsuit upgrades are directly dependent on what you are doing with Dropsuit Command plus slot layouts which have all changed. The tree that is least needing of a respec is Weaponry, but I can still see how you can argue that case.

I could live with suits and weapons.
Though if you could get me an Upgrade respec as well, I would definitely buy some more AUR

I bought the Amarr Assault specially for the SCR rifle. Now its loosing its heat sink and the bonus replaced by something i dont even want to mention since it makes me sick.
My Min scout was a necesity at the time where the Caldari / Amarr scouts where not available
.Same with heavy, if I needed to use a Forge Gun, i needed a Heavy.And there was only ONE...
The thing is many things are changing, FULL Fittings and Skill plans have been thown out of the window, same as me , many other players will Have effective fittings and strategies changed into useless cr*p.
Many players wont be very fond of this ,specially if they dont get to re ajust their SP to be effective again.
CCP just changing everything + adding stuff is basically unbalancing the game for most players, we do need the respec . SPECIALLY now with most/all Racial Variants out.
GIVE ME A RESPEC CCP.

TLDR - JUST DO A FULL RESPEC AND BE DONE WITH!
I say, release all of this, give everyone 1 full respec and be done with. I wouldn't normally ask but the changes are so drastic in some cases it is totally fair imho.
After that respecs can be discussed as a way to possibly make CCP more money through the use of aurum. Even then I would like them limited - in a similar fashion to how you can respec attributes in EVE (I know it is somewhat different but the general time constraints seem fair) |

But what about the heavy? Why do I get punished for having ONE suit to spec into to run my intended role?
