The current state of PFC has been brought to the attention of Negative-Feedback.
It has been found that the current enforcement has become lacking due to a combination of a lack of resources and desire to deal with the unique challenges that PFC presents. Negative-Feedback has formed an exploratory committee to further investigate the state of Planet FIght Club and see what measures must be taken to bring PFC back to full operation. We appreciate the community's continued desire to work together to try and keep PFC operational, but it seems a firm hand may be needed to bring it back in step.
We ask for the current PFC land holders to mail "Kane Spero" in-game with their current concerns and thoughts as our investigation continues.

I have a question.
If swamp bought a district, could we pull in alliance members, their players are generally on the same level as swamp and as far as I know, the only beta vets we have are either directors and ceos or very few and far between.

first things first.. see how much of a cluster f%^k it has become.
far as I know most of the original rules are still roughly in place, although not strongly enforced and a lot of things going on hurting the entire concept of PFC
the inquiry has been launched and we need to allow some time to get a grasp of what's really going on.
the community asked, and we'll see where it goes from here.
no promises but at least you've piqued interest enough for the inquiry to be launched

I have seen people attacking with 300+ Clones
People bringing players from other Corps (Non-Alliance Members)
Using Clones for ISK generation
Never using their clones (Not fighting even once a week)
Using clones to attack districts from outside of PFC... and few more

Kain, might you take a look in the CPM forum and read my thread? I would like the insight of the CPM on the issue. Or just go to feedback/requests and have a look there, it's the Petition to bring back corp battles.

it sounds like CCP prefers to sit back and they literally hold side bets on the pass/fail odds of PFC
I agree the return of Corp Battles would solve all this, but that's more UI crap which would actually require some work.
I think they are prioritizing things much better now than before, and while im sure CBs are on the to-do list, theres a lot more gameplay related things they are addressing first
that and the bounce-house rental outside CCP headquarters has to be returned next week so they wanna get their money's worth out of that

One of the things we have seen as a problem is the extensive rule sets that have been created. Some rules are needed of course but this is New Eden and the hand holding should really be kept to a minimum.

Honestly, also talking to Bane here as well, nothing would make me happier than a return of some form of corp battles with iteration to remove some of the issues that were prevalent before.

If you need a hand restoring PFC, I'm more than happy to do so. As much as I say I hate PFC, I'd like to see it better. It helped my previous corp get better, and it may have saved my previous clans foothold in its dust wing.

Bear in mind, the two most powerful factions in EVE online have a complicated treaty between them, that basically amounts to PFC's no capture rule plus an agreement on ship usage that's pretty much the EVE equivalent of having a standard gear only fight. When you get right down to it, PFC's fully in the spirit of EVE Online.
(For those curious, it's the CFC and PL, and the agreements in play are OTEC and the BoTLRD Accords)

So once this is sorted we can do that? I'm asking because I don't want to get a district for our alliance members to use for training and find iv broken rules.
We'll use it everyday or every two days. Its better than attacking corps and inevitably loosing for training and then have to spend months grinding that isk back to carry on.
I used to think pfc was bs back when things were different but with the state pc is in, I think its a necessity.
