I may be wrong, but a good portion of us who get the newsletter are reading the forums as well. News I great, but keep it to major key areas such as looking for ideas, future of DUST514, and maybe even an advice article that may help such as tanking 101 or sniping 101. Just a short article would suffice.
As far as free stuff give options and make us choose one. A few Templars, black eagles, or some other suit (numbers vary depending on suit), or maybe the choice between uplinks, nanohives, repair tools, and scanners (again amount of items can depend on the item). Keep in mind you would only be able to redeem one, you just have options. |

How about a time frame as to when Dust514 will get stats at the level of EVE Online, the true game from CCP? Maybe an interview with a CCP Dev on the usefulness of stats to their players.
Stats would allow us to see which of the recent weapons released with a hack/patch are OP and should be included in our FOTM.

If the new events coming for Feb - March (the heavy one) was supposed to be in a newsletter, then I didn't get that one. Also checked the 'other' email account I switched from. Both spam folders are empty. Seems to be hit or miss here...

I agree. An article and some stats on how Dust has impacted Eve. How do Eve players feel about Dust and its players so far. Does Dust feel like part of New Eden or foreign. Or do Eve pilots transport them from planet to planet. How does Planetary Conquest and System ownership work together for both games.
Just something that helps connect players of both games so that it will feel like one universe. It can be an article every month or every 3 month ( 4 times a year).

i'd also liek to see th eQuafe assault moved to Gallente Assault and also be nice to see a Black Eagle Federal Assault in th eLP store.
in all fairness though the free stuff in emails have been pretty good so far i cant reaqlly complain.
when it comes to pirate/factional stuff though i'd rather htem wait and start introducing specialized ones as they have in EVE with Navy and Pirate factions having significant improvements over standard suits but make each suit cost sat 500lp's fromt he store and pirate factin ones require thier respective races LPs so Sansha Scout suit would require 500lp from each caldari and amarr LP store. these could be brought into lore friendly by having the two races obtaining the suits/equipment as salvage from joint engagements with the pirate factions but also give them the extra perks as the ships do and also same skill reqs. a proto Angel Cartel suit require both lv5 in gallente and minmatar suits. but gets the built in bonus as well as skill bonus from each races suit.

Excellent communication in this thread, really cool to see.
Some things I would like to see in the newsletter:
- A link to some DUST 514 fiction
- MO4R Artwork
- A "scratch ticket" that has a few different prizes, really easy to win ones like a little ISK or some suits, then a few really cool prizes like some AUR, a weeks active booster, maybe just a couple grand prizes such as a BPO of some sorts
- More surveys
- Community spotlights

- Map Stats: Where do mercs die the most on a particular map? Could be interesting to see the hotspots on a map
- Community Q&A: Pick a good question from the community (something of moderate difficulty/complexity) and have Dev comment on it for the next newsletter

I was taking a shower before going to the gym when a great idea hit me. Why dont you add stats of kills made with CR, RR, FG or any other weapons that everyone is speaking about. Like after Asakai and all the great battles of EVE there is always a dev log made about it after, would be great to show us how it is done in Dust. It will also be a benchmark to compare against 1.8 and show us you do your "homework".

So...changing my email in account settings worked, but it's definitely out of sync, given what my account settings is telling me Email B is what I'm signed up with. Either way, just wanted to give feedback. I'm not complaining, happy to have a newsletter!!
now I'm back to no newsletters again. I checked both emails, all tabs and both junk/spam folders. nada. *sigh*
