First off, I have posted this in the D-Uni forums for our members, but due to general interest, I'm going to open up this program to the rest of the community.
I haven't said anything to my superiors in the Uni so if I'm all of a sudden booted.....is is probably why
NOTICE: SAVE THE COMMANDO!!!!
So I've been thinking about this idea for awhile now and think its time to present it to the rest of the Uni.
So my idea:
The ARC program.
What does ARC mean? -Advanced Recon Commando.....kinda catchy right?
Why would I want to join this? -Because you have the commando suit and want to become one of the best commandos in the game!
What is the purpose of this "program"? -It's designed to show players how to effectively utilize the commando suit. Right now, the suit is rather gimped when in use rolling solo. But in a squad, it can be the difference between taking an objective, or losing one. It will help players utilize the suit to its max effectiveness in both squad ops and solo ops.
What do I need to join? -all you need is at least the basic commando frame and be willing to learn/use the commando suit.
Who should I contact if I want to help out or join? -well right now it's just me but I have a few players in mind who are (IMO) slightly better at using the commando than me and as such would be great teachers on this class.
When will this program be? -that's the best part, it'll be whenever you want it to be! I was thinking of setting up weekly 102 classes (we squad and go into a match) aswell as the occasional 101 class/lecture. If the number of people interested suits this than I was thinking about trying to get a full squad of commandos going whenever enough people are on.
I will post more information in the following days as I sort all the logistical issues out.
Best regards, Fire

Q & A notes:
Did a basic overview of the commando suit. -A variation of the heavy suit. -carries 2 light weapons (ie an assault rifle and a sniper), 1 equipment slot at basic level. -can be a force to reckon with, however it cannot take an assault suit in a 1v1 situation. -slow moving, large hitbox.
Went over some BASIC fittings & tips for fittings. -use weapons that complement each other. (Make 1 weapon do +Dmg to shields and then the other weapon do +Dmg to armour. Ie scrambler rifle and mass driver) -use weapons that can counteract each other. (1 long range weapon and 1 short/mid range weapon. Ie assault rifle and sniper) -I personally recommend using a "compact nanohive" as this can heal you and resupply you with ammo. -sniper & swarm launcher is a good combo for long range suppression of vehicles and infantry.
Tactics for squad ops: -bring up the rear of the squad. -lay down suppressive fire/cover fire for squad mates. -thin out the ranks of incoming enemies. -if you have a swarm launcher, you should be the one destroying enemy vehicles.
Tactics for solo ops: -keep your distance from the frontlines -if you do decides to move in, avoid CQC situations and stick to places with lots of cover (hills work fine on open plains) -stick with the majority of your team (unless you are being pub stomped.......in wich case, do as you wish without losing to much isk :p)
I will edit this post as more/new tactics reveal themselves

I thought I would do something fun with this post and create: "Fire's commando Fit of the week"
These fits will simply be ideas for you to try when using the commando suit. You can swap the weapons on them or completely change the fit :) Feel free to post your favourite commando fit and I'll add it into this post. So without further ado, my first fit of the week:
Commando A-1 GEK-38 Assault rifle NT-511 sniper rifle Compact nanohive
Next fit:
Commando A-1 CRD-9 Assault Scrambelr Rifle Basic Mass Driver Compact Nanohive
New fit :D
"Hunter" Commando A-1 Toxin AR (or any other AR) Shotgun Scanner
Tips: when using this suit, it's most effective to flank the enemy and then take them out. I recommend practicing using a scout suit with a shotgun to familiarize yourself with how to effectively flank and shotgun your enemy.
Fits from T'orq: Commando A-1 Gek-38 Assault Rifle Exo-5 Mass Driver K-2 Nanohive Or If you want to run cheap: Commando A-1 Scrambler Rifle/Assault Rifle Mass driver Nanohive
More from T'orq :p Commando A/1 Rail Rifle Mass Driver/Assault Rifle/Scrambler Rifle Remote Explosive
"Orion" Commando AK.0 Kaalakiota Rail Rifle Duvolle assault rifle Basic (or flux) active scanner (basic is all you really need :p) Enhanced light damage mod. Enhanced shield extender Enhanced armour repair
Commando A-1 Scrambler rifle Assault Rail rifle Compact nanohive (or scanner) NOTE: I haven't tried this fit yet but I have a feeling it's pretty effective :p)
Another from Thanjac :) Commando A/1 Scrambler Rifle Combat Rifle K-2 Nanohive
Enjoy :)

Alright this is the "events" post.
To promote awareness, imma start an event night that will run every Saturday around 0:00-1:00 eve time.
Here's how it'll work.
We will have a "commando night" were everyone uses commando suits, everyone will squad up and go and play 1 domination. player with the highest WP/death ratio will win an isk award.
Entrance is 50k isk per player and you must be a part of the channel "ARC Program D-Uni" in order to enter.
All entrances will be sent to my alt "Sir Arthur Moneybags" and held until a winner is determined.
If we have 6+ players, the winner from each squad will move on to a secondary match were they will be in a squad with all the winners from the other squads and they will play another domination and the player with highest kills will win all the isk that was sent to my alt.
First event is Saturday (6 days from now), hope to see you all there!!!
EDIT: to clarify things, there is no equipment restrictions (any proto gear can be used.....seeing as the average life span of a commando is literally 15 seconds, it would be a waste of isk to run proto more than once)

One of my favourite solo fits is:
Commando A-1 Scrambler rifle/rifle of your choice Shotgun Compact Nanohive
This fit is decent for CQC and medium ranged combat (depending on the rifle you fit) and is relatively self-sufficient. Alternatively, you could fit a sniper rifle instead of the shotgun if you prefer medium/long ranged combat.
If you are running in a squad with other commando's then you may want to organise your equipment around each other so you have a larger variety of options.
In regards to skill allocation, core skills are very important to a dedicated commando. The armour and shield upgrades help with survival and electronics/engineering let you fit better gear if you get higher tier suits.

Great initiative!
I would like to be an instructor for this program. My resume includes using the Commando from day 1 on July 2nd, 2013, founding the Commando Squadron channel, and being a member of the Commando 6.
Not sure if you want to interview me since you already know me, but if so I'm up for it.

And just to give some people more ideas, here are my two most used commando fits.
Commando A/1 Series Scrambler Rifle CRD-9 Assault Scrambler Rifle Wirykomi Triage Hive Basic Shield Energizer Basic Armor Plate
This is my frontline Commando suit. No need for armor reps when you are carrying the 70 hp/s Wirykomis with you, and also great for supporting fellow Commandos in the squad. Shield energizer helps get my shields up to as high as possible in the limited downtime between engagements on the frontlines. The combination of weapons allows me to effectively cover medium and short range engagements very flexibly with either choice.
Commando A/1 Series CRD-9 Assault Scrambler Rifle ELM-7 Laser Rifle Quantum Active Scanner Basic Light Damage Amplifier Enhanced Armor Repairer
This is my perimeter patrol Commando, working the other objectives. Obviously any patrol job is only made better by the use of active scanners, so there's that. I don't get as much armor as I am not subject to as much enemy firepower, and in exchange I get to carry a passive armor repairer. Also since I usually have more time between engagements I opt out of the energizer in favor of a damage mod. The combination of weapons gives me a wider range to effectively assault my targets, from medium-far to up close and personal. This comes with the trade off of less flexibility, as each weapon as a very specific role in the fit.

On a side note, the Caldari commando seems to be the one I will spec into, due to my love so the RR.

Before I make my choice, I will compare all the Stats and take the one that makes the most sense to me.
Here is my current Command'oh Fit
Command'oh A/1 Series Plasma Cannon RS-90 Combat Rifle Compact Nanohive Basic Shield Recharger Enhanced Armor Repairer
If you have the CPU switch the Recharger for an Energizer. You do take a small Shield penalty but get the extra Recharge Rate.

Idk how much faster the minmatar commando will be, people are making it sound like it's going to be scout fast, when in reality, it's only going to be slightly faster than the average commando.
Nice fit btw :p

I'm thinking the Minmatar Command'oh will be around the same speed (with Biotics) as a weighted down Logi (with no Biotics). I just really dig the medium range combat and having an AV option. The Slot Layouts are what scare me the most. If they all suck (more than likely) I'll skill into some other weapons to offset the crap that will surely be delivard.

When the rest of the he commandos come out (here's for hoping that it will be 1.8) I'm going to make a big push for this program and we should get a whole bunch of players.

Hey aero, I was thinking, once the other racial commandos arrive and the cloak arrives, we could probably do specific "branches " for the arc program (like one is AV dedicated and one is more assault oriented etc.)
Perhaps the AV division could be called "the juggernaut division" and the scout oriented division (the ones that use the cloak a lot) could be called "the shadow division"
Just a thought :p

Okay so first
http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac201/fireofprometheus624/image_zpsa21dc0ce.jpg
The original picture I found at the top of one of the pages on the website, I believe it was for one of those monthly emails when we got sentinels that this was up there.
Now, the enlarged pic of the Caldari scout
http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac201/fireofprometheus624/image_zpsca227557.jpg
I sent in a help ticket asking about this and got the usual run of the mill "we cannot comment on this"
And then a few days later, the picture was changed
EDIT:
http://dust514.com/news/2013/06/developing-game-mode-variations/
Second pick from the bottom, he's using an HMG, yet those are definitely not sentinel/amarr heavy hands looks like the Caldari medium hands, but that's just me

At first I thought that was just a Gal Assault, but the close up reveals it is definitely not. Still, it doesn't look like a scout in my honest opinion.
Who knows, maybe. CCP could of also changed the design yet again.

Who knows, maybe. CCP could of also changed the design yet again. Idk, but it is holding what looks like a rail rifle, and it's definitely not the medium Caldari frame....looks to thin to be heavy, therefore most likely a light frame,
Has a similar placing of lights on the helmet as that of the Caldari medium, has the regular steel grey of Caldari suits.....it just reminds me of Caldari.....
Did you check the last link?
EDIT: as for them changing it, I hope they don't....I rather like that version of a Caldari scout....
Should I repost this in GD?

To get back on topic, in regards to my scouting desires that would only be a slight diversion. By that, I mean I currently have a plan for my skill point investment in Commandos that would take 20 million, and another plan that will only take 10 million. Depending how much I want to dump into scouts will determine which plan I use, but man I'd love to take the 20 million route. For the most part I've always been a bit of an omni-soldier, but seeing as this is likely the last respec we will ever get it may be time to change that.
Hopefully with the Commando buffs plus new racial commandos we will get plenty of students for this group.

I will definitely spec into scouts, there is no doubt, however, depending on if I like the scouts, I may or may not go past basic (although I do think the Caldari scout(?) will look awesome in black

Perhaps we should also add a guide to skilling the Commando? Not sure about the other racial commandos and what new slot layouts we may all possibly get, but I can make one with the general idea. Would definitely like feedback from other Commandos, this will most likely go through some revisions. The skills listed within each segment are not in the order you should skill them, but the order they showed up in the fitting tool.

My planned fits for new Commando stats and slot layouts
Commando A-1 Laser Rifle Scrambler Rifle Militia Light Damage Mod Militia Armor Repairer Active Scanner
240 shield 562 armor 2.5 armor repair rate
Cost: 7,640 ISK
Commando A/1 ELM-7 Laser Rifle CRD-9 Assault Scrambler Rifle Enhanced Light Damage Mod Enhanced Armor Plate Enhanced Armor Repairer A-19 Stable Active Scanner
240 shield 683 armor 3.75 armor repair rate
Cost: 55,110 ISK
Commando Ak.0 ELM-7 Laser Rifle CRD-9 Assault Scrambler Rifle Complex Light Damage Mod Complex Armor Plate Complex Armor Repairer Complex Armor Repairer A-19 Stable Active Scanner
240 shield 711 armor 12.5 armor repair rate
Cost: 111,120 ISK
*HP values vary depending on your skills. All fits require some degree of SP into fitting skills.
I'm like it so far, definitely excited for 711 armor and 12.5 armor repair rate! The prices are still sort of steep past standard because of the cost of light weapons, though it's not noticeable in my protofit because I'm only using advanced weapons. It's quite noticeable on the advanced fit. I'm not too concerned though, these fits sound every bit worth the ISK.

Just remember to work out your fittings ahead of time before maxing fitting skills like Electronics, Engineering, Light Weapon Operations, and Fitting Optimizations. It is very improbably that you need all of these at level 5 to run your ideal fit.

260 armor 300 shield 13.76 HP/sec(armor) 32.8 HP/sec (shield) 4.25 m/sec (ground speed)

So I think I've got a solid commando ck 0 fit.
Kaalakiota rr Kaalakiota Sniper
Compact nanohive
Shield energizer (whatever level I have by the time 1.8 hits ^.^) 3x complex shield extenders 1 complex armour rep (or reactive plates)
Seems like a fast moving, long range monster and with all those shields, I'll be able to regen pretty fast (provided I survive the initial fight )
EDIT: forgot to add a shield energizer

I started using the Caldari Commando today and man am I loving the thing, went 26/8 one ambush. I feel like I am dying a tad more than I would like though and don't even know if I am using the Commando right, so I will probably send an application later today so you guys can teach me how to be a proper Commando.
Hope to talk to you guys soon.

A few tips that might help you out.
Pick weapons that both compliment your playstyle, but allow you to adapt to any situation as it pops up.
Keep to a range. You aren't designed to be a close range attacking unit, your best feature is your range and higher HP values.
Keep firing. The more bullets you put onto an enemy location the less likely they are to attempt to fight back.

Knowing this and this alone would have saved so many deaths yesterday..........
I was thinking RR and ARR would be a nice combo, but do you think there is something better than that that would work, like a combat rifle or something? I wanted to maximize the effectiveness of my bonus without using a sniper rifle so that was the only option really. |

As much as I like Caldari stuff, the Calmando feels too easy mode, except at close range. I don't know if it is the fact that I am used to running scout, or that I just like being better at close range, but I am probably going to ditch it.
I am not too sad as I made a few pointless skill investments that I do regret.
Could you maybe help me make a good Galmando? I want to be fast-ish with good close-quarters capabilities. I was thinking AR and Shotgun, which I heard was a bad weapon on the suit.
Is this absolutely true? Is there some way I could make this work? Or should I just skill into the Plasma Cannon like everyone else?
Any help would be appreciated. I would go Minmando (CoMindo?) but I know that is one of the most popular, and I hate going with anything too easy mode or overused........ |

Just ignore what I said, I was messing around on protofits and started thinking how effective it would be, and decided a longer-ranged approach with the Plasma Cannon would be better. I will make a fit with it and then get you guys to judge it. |

I typically run Logi now but I have a couple of Commandos set for if I wanna go front line.
First is a Gal Commando with a Burst AR and either a Plasma Cannon or a Shotgun (latter works well for Scout counter), tanked with an Enhanced Plate, Enhanced Rep (sometimes second plate), Basic Shield Extender (need to spec into higher) and the equipment varies from Rep Tools to Nano Hives to REs.
Second is a Cal Commando with a Sniper and a Rail Rifle, Basic Shield Extender, Enhanced Energiser and Enhanced Regulator carrying Allotek Nanohive (R) to work primarily as a sniping suit. |

Alright well it seems you have the jist of building a commando, my only suggestion is to make sure you have some type of rifle on every commando, this will help with virtually every situation.

Here is a solid gallente cqc commando: Gallente g-1 Assault rifle shotgun scanner enhanced armour rep basic/enhanced armour plates basic shield energizer alright little description: So the shield energizer is for the quick regen, this will make sure you have a quick regen between fights. The armour rep is to help regen all of that armour, and the plate is to keep you in the fight longer. use the scanner to pick up oponents and plan your attack accordingly, never take your opponent head on, sneak around and flank or take em by suprise. AR for ranged combat, shotty for taking the sneak attack or when its extreme cqc. Whew, hope this helps :)
Seems legit. I will protofit this up and see exactly how I can fit this down to the last PG.

Here are some fits for you, Fire. Hope they help.
Cheap Solo Spambush Fits
Note: The Combat Rifle does receive a damage bonus from the Minmatar Commando suit, but I generally perform poorly with burst-fire weapons. Hence, I use the Militia AR for these fits (also, I'm an RP'er...so I refuse to use Caldari or Amarr suits or weapons -- I only use uplinks and hives for the significant tactical advantage). The other Militia Gear is just in the interest of being cost-efficient.

Apologies.
You were just trashing someone who was sporting the Minmatar gear, and I know about you and your ego the size of the Amarrian Army you cherish so much.
I immediately assumed you were trashing him because he was Minmatar, not because he doesn't meet your "standards" for a commando.
I would trash you with an amazing Caldari Commando, but it is just far more superior than you so I thought I would kick it down a notch and sport the Gallente equivalent instead.(You are still going to get the trashing you deserve.)

Oh, ok. Sorry I misunderstood you once more.
I feel you are just sad though because you don't have a good shortened name for your race's Commando, where as we get Calmando, Galmando, and Minmando(CoMindo?).
Do you guys have any ideas for a really gimmicky basic Galmando with low skill requirements? I want to have a just for fun fit and I don't really know how to build an amazing normal fit in the first place....... |

To be perfectly honest, "Ginja" is the stupidest term ever. "Minja" works because it's the first three letters of their race, but the Gallente are not Ginlente. They're desperately trying to call themselves something cool but failing. The Amarr were at least able to come up with Samarri.
For commandos, Galmando and Calmando sound good. I also like Amando but could probably think of something better given time.

We Commandos are awesome!
Edit: You should try to recruit more people to the corp. I know that is what this thread is for but most newer players don't read the forums, I only started reading the forums after I was playing the game for over three months.
You should try to recruit every commando you see on the battlefield, not just rely on a thread full of random fits that may or may not be relevant to most people. |

That depends, what are your favorite weapons, and now that all commandos except caldari have a low slot at basic making them more durable. But all are more durable, you just have to decide if you want armor tank, shield tank, dual tank or armor & rep tank and what weapon u want bonuses for

What kinda sensitivity are you guys using w ps3 dual shocks? I had a great first few nights w calmando and RR but I seem to have trouble staying consistent while ADS.
Also curious about fitting variability as a calmando. Ive got full 5s in fitting skills as well as armor/shields but I feel I might be missing something, im nanocircuitry 3 and generally run a real standard fit w 2 or 3 complex extenders, a rep/regulator, and a hive of some kind and im wondering if there's a piece of equipment I should look in to.
I might be stuck in calassault mindset or just mediocre play since returning from long hiatus, cant keep myself out of trouble anymore. |

Thanjac is correct, if you want mobility, minmatar is your best option, as for weapons, combat rifle and mass drivers are the minmatar weaponry (just to save you some confusion :) )
Hope this helps :)

The Lion Command, the Witch Logi, and the Wardrobe Sentinel.
I've been reviewing the options for trying out a Minmatar Commando and the final decision phase is close at hand. Part of that analysis has been a caparison to my other Frames in use. HMG Sentinel and Combat Engineer Logi.
Section One: Skill Points (done) Just over 8 million skill points for Dropsuit Command & Light Weapons. Do-able considering it would still leave over 3 million skill points unallocated.
Section Two: CPU/PG Check (done) When compared to the Minmatar Logi the PG values cleared by removed equipment/modules cleared the gap between the Frames and had enough left over for a second weapon. Originally I was braced for having to spec into the hideously expensive Weapon Upgrades.
Section Three: Weapon's Review (done - sort of) Ever since the Mass Driver buff of 1.8 running them without Damage Mods is viable again on my Combat Engineer ALT. Taking a Commando (skill level 5) with one Complex Damage Module is looking very appealing with Time-To-Kill changes.
The Combat Rifle is a bit harder to pin down. In a Dust 514 newsletter they gave free AUR variants. While the sight was great they didn't have enough of a bullet hose effect for my style of play. Lately an Shayz video showed the Assault Combat Rifle in action. Less bullet-hose than the HMG I'm used to but magnificently tight groupings at range or hip-fire.
The only noticeable downsides is even with two enhanced plates the Combat Engineer is more than 0.5 m/s faster than the Commando so he can better position himself for Mass Driver shots. Short range fights may be an issue with the hit-box/buffer and lowered DPS compared to the Sentinel. So it may take time to adjust to maneuver for mid-short or longer range fire-fights.
Section Four: Fitting (done) Concept idea is a for a self sufficient slayer. Complex Armor Reps. Complex Damage to make a good deal even better. Precision Enhancer to catch Medium Frames with max dampening skill. Finally Nanohives to feed the Mass Driver & Combat Rifle, both weapons are known for voracious ammo consumption.
ISK costs summed is about 3k or 4k above the Combat Engineer but sill a comfortable 10k+ less than the Sentinel. Cheeping out on the nanohives and precision enhancer can take it around 3k under the Combat Engineer. Which could land it about 50k depending which hives are used. As long as any try-hard instincts are suppressed a manageable number.
Section Five: Combat Effectiveness (open) If you measure a Frames survivability by tank and mobility the Commando is weaker than my Support Logi. The Combat Engineer has over 100+ more armor, barely faster, and has a smaller hit-box. The commando wins on shield totals by over 100, but has worse shield regeneration characteristics in every single category. The only solid advantage held by the commando is with an extended break from taking DPS it can get that 100 extra shields faster than the armor rep can return the Logi's extra 100 armor back.
The Logi however can't switch to a Rifle to deal a higher DPS at all ranges. The Commando can better use the Assault Mass Driver to saturate an area or nail hostiles taking cover.
The Sentinel wins under 20 meters unless the Mass Driver damage is walked-the-corner in reverse. Easier done with the Logi since the Combat Engineer has Fluxes.
Calling the Commando a glass-cannon feels off. But it is looking a bit fragile and dependent on its bonuses. It might work really with an LAV for the old Chromosome Murder Taxi 1.0 except pushing the engagement ranges back instead of the regular in-your-face approach with the Sentinel. That and using the vehicle for cover.
Section Six: Fanfest (open) Less than four weeks until Fanfest 2014. CCP did major things at Fanfest 2013. Investing now may result in not having enough Skill Points if they pull a hat-trick and drop the other Heavy Weapons or some other irresistible candy.
I'm thinking of trolling DevHangout for advice. There's also the option of making the Honey Glazed Lamb offering to CCP Wolfman. If anyone knows what sacrificial offering is used to summon CCP Saberwing please let me know.

Minmatar, but my next Infantry build will be Gallente. I played Gal Logi and Assault prior to 1.8 so I'm familiar with Gallente traits, weapons, and styles.
So in terms of Commando coaching, Minmatar and Gallente. I have an alt that I plan to make a Calmando running RR/SR but that's months away.

So, i'm enjoying my Amarr Commando alt A LOT. So much so that I have decided that since my main has proto'ed everything he needs for Scout and almost has his Cores maxed I'm going to Commando him next. I'm just not sure if I'm going to make him Minmatar or Gallente Commando. Which is better for run and gun playstyle? I like the slot layout of the Gal Commando better(has passive armor regen and can dual stack Kincats if I wanted), but the Stamina regen of the Minmatar Commando is awesome. |

I would say the Minnando, mainly you can dish out the damage but be able to get away quicker. But if you wanted to put kin cats on, I would not do minmatar, gallente would be better because of that innate armor rep.

How does Min Commando fare using its only low slow as a KinCat vs a Repper? Pretty much the only thing stopping me from wanting to snag it is the lack of low slot for ADV suits(which I mostly run instead of proto gear because i'm a poor bastard). I kind of wish it had been given 2 lows instead of 2 highs at ADV level. |

A KinCat will give you amazing speed. Useful for when you know enemies wont fight back.
A repper will keep you going in any occasion.

Sup fellow Calmmando here with an idea for AV fits.
Fit one minmatar commando with a proto swarm with Prof. 5 and something to defend yourself from incoming infantry ( CR would be the best choice here) and then put as many complex light weapon damage mods that you can on the suit and you get one hell of a AV armor damage dealer with the explosion damage bonus.
Team up with a gallente commando "Whale" (seriously they look like stranded whales or not?) who has a prof. 5 PLC and again put as many complex light weapon damage mods on that suit and you get an effective way to melt the shields of a caldari tank and the swarm Minmando takes care of the armor.
it's a little situational but it should help if the enemy tries to stomp a match with HAV's and LAV's.
I hope im not copying some others fit idea from a former post that I didn't read. |

To be honest, right now the best counter to a tank, is a tank.....as much as I hate to say that.

This.
I always run a reaper currently...once I get my proto suit I'll run a repper and in my second slot either a kincat or a plate depending on my assignment.
Kincats do indeed make you crazy fast though.

Well you are using a weapon that get's the damage boost so yeah it makes an impact plus with a complex damage mod could it become even better. And with the mentality of many people using a scout suit with shotguns are you even very effective if you are quick enough, because do you not only have more range than a cloak shotty has but you also can tank the shotgun shots because you are an armor tank which the shotgun get's a penalty for.
But you will have a bad time with CR's or RR's who stay away from your effective range because AR's are still only short range weapons.
