The idea is it is fast(er) and excels at CQC, while having mediocre armour repair to allow it to go through multiple fights.

If it feels easy mode, you are using it for its main role

EDIT: alright well, gallente commandos are probably the best cqc commandos.

Here is a solid gallente cqc commando:

basic/enhanced armour plates
basic shield energizer

alright little description:
So the shield energizer is for the quick regen, this will make sure you have a quick regen between fights. The armour rep is to help regen all of that armour, and the plate is to keep you in the fight longer. use the scanner to pick up oponents and plan your attack accordingly, never take your opponent head on, sneak around and flank or take em by suprise. AR for ranged combat, shotty for taking the sneak attack or when its extreme cqc.

Sorry but Commando's have dignity..... We are all Commando's...not divided by race, dropsuit, or weaponry. Brothers in arms, bringers of justice....just like us Amarr.

Let's also not make this about slavery and the Amarr..... Aero and I could talk anyone under the table on the subject.

Thanjac and I go way back...... practically taught me to Commando alongside Aero and Fire. He runs Amarr FW with us from time to time.

I'm not talking about trashing anyone I'm talking about what Scouts like to do calling themselves Minja, Ginja, etc......

My advice, model most of your gallente fits (module wise) after the suit I told you about earlier, swap weapons as you wish, and experiment with different tiers of modules....or be a daredevil and mix and match all sorts of modules and weapons :p

To be perfectly honest, "Ginja" is the stupidest term ever. "Minja" works because it's the first three letters of their race, but the Gallente are not Ginlente. They're desperately trying to call themselves something cool but failing. The Amarr were at least able to come up with Samarri.

For commandos, Galmando and Calmando sound good. I also like Amando but could probably think of something better given time.

I hate all you Commando's......what reduced you to this?

If one was interested in creating a new character that specializes in Commando what dropsuit would be considered the best fit for someone who solo's 99% of the time and has to be self reliant?
