Hey guys,
Apologies for the unscheduled downtime that Tranquility is experiencing tonight.
Our services have been the target of a DDoS attack this evening, and we're currently working on rectifying the situation and making sure that everything comes back online okay.
We apologize for the interruption in service, and we hope to have things back online soon.

Nobody deserves to have to put up with this on New Years Eve.
The people who did it though, are not out on new year's eve. Instead sat at home,
behind a computer, whereas they should be behind bars.
Will you be seeking these individuals out and bringing justice to the world?
If not I hope a goliath such as EA decide to slam down the hammer on them. |

i just came from watching about 5 hours of anime and i was looking to play DUST for a bit before i went back to watching anime.
i knew something was up when i saw 910 players on tranquility. thanks for the heads up.

As far as I am concerned anyone who attacks private or public interests with malicious intent via the digital or physical world with the intent of causing fear and or harm and promoting an agenda is a terrorist. In this case a cyber terrorist. And should be subject to the full penalty of the Local laws where the attacks are taking place and all relevant international law.

I'm glad that you feel my inability to spend New Year celebration with my friends and family is justified because you personally feel that the content we've delivered for DUST hasn't suited your personal tastes. Thanks for that.
