How emotionally and psychologically depraved people must be to DDoS the servers to a F2P game on New Year's EvE?

CCP Falcon wrote: I'm glad that you feel my inability to spend New Year celebration with my friends and family is justified because you personally feel that the content we've delivered for DUST hasn't suited your personal tastes. Thanks for that.
In other news, we're working as fast as we can to get things back on track for you guys.
Sorry for the disruption to your gameplay.

Man, I don't know how these DEVs do it. I would've snapped by now.
Unless, a DEV did finally crack, and is the one responsible for the DDoS attack.

Crimson Cerberes wrote: Did you really just say that? To a customer no less? About doing your job?
If CCP is any type of professional organisation, responses like that warrant a write-up. That is not good PR.
Please Don't

Crimson Cerberes wrote:Listen ladies and gents, this is the grown up world where if you take a job that requires on-call work, you deal with it and don't go crying to your customers. Your right, this is the real world.
And in the real world, people call you out on idoitic and childish actions that you make.
Crimson Cerberes wrote:I don't see all of you brown nosers crying about paramedics/firefighters/police officers/ military personnel having to do much harder work, most always because of someone else's actions. Those situations are usually life-or-death situations that require immidiate attention. Somebody has to perform that job. CCP is doing so out of thier kindness and generosity (not saying that the paramedics/firefighters/police officers/millitary personnel aren't doing it for the same reason).
Also, I'd love to see you talk to a Military Solider like that. I'd pay a good buck or two to see what happens next.
Crimson Cerberes wrote:I also am pretty sure talking to YOUR customers in this way is not acceptable IN ANY industry. No customer wants to hear an employee ***** about how hard they have it, and no company in the world wants one of their employees crying about their job to their customers.
This game is Free-To-Play. Simply participating does not make you a customer. And I'm sorry that CCP Falcon said something to you that didn't involve giving you a bib and some Apple Juice to sip on.
He said something, and you didn't like it. HTFU. He's not here to pamper you.

oops, am i QQing here? didn't mean to oh I am well aware. But DUST is truly a love/hate thing for me. No other game comes close. So after a 3 month break it has been fun to play again. Loving the Rail Rifle all in all I can and should only be grateful. RAIL RIFLE MASTER RACE
Most hated person since Lueko and Checkmate
