I Saved A Balac Sniper Today...

Atiim Living Like Larry Schwag 2662	Posted - 2013.12.28 03:21:00 - [1] - Quote I was sniping with my Thale in Caldari FW today, and somebody decided to pull out the Balac N-17 Sniper Rifle (or whatever it's called lol). Then I saw an RDV coming, so I looked to see if it was friendly or not, and it was. But because I was bored, I decided to watch him for a bit. He was driving up the hill to where the sniper was, and I kept watching him. The guy popped out and started shooting the guy. So you know what I did? Popped 'em clean off the mountain. The sniper had almost no health left, and then he left the match. I wanted to send him so mail, but I didn't catch the guy's name. Why do people hate snipers so much? Considering how the Balac Sniper Rifle is one of the rarest Officer weapon this game has to offer, I would be appreciative if somebody was to bring this into battle. Not try to teamkill them. We finally deployed in the MinFW Match! \o/

Those assholes ruined that map for anyone trying to win a match since day:1 The idea of limiting HAVs on the battlefield has been tossed around... why not sniper rifles? 2 or 3 is about all a winning team should have to support. Because, while too many tanks is somewhat unfair... too many sniper rifles, is just dumb and will make your side lose. Sorry, you dont get any game-level help to protect you from stupid teammates.

Especially on that map. Really, anytime it's an objective based mode snipers are just useless, chickenshit KDR whores. I have a Scanner and Squad communication, I don't need to rely on somebody sitting on an inaccessible tower or terrain glitching near the blue MCC telling me how to handle ground troops as if the voice of God entered my headset. I actually love to snipe but I don't do it because I know I am not actually contributing to the team. Or I use it under 50m, Musketeer style. All this while simultaneously sniping into an objective to prevent hackers, protecting as many team mates I can (I feel a little twinge of regret if I fail to save them in time even if just a blue), avenging the fallen, or putting the hurt on protos and heavies TLDR We're useful, you just won't admit it Also side point "sitting on an inaccessible tower" How'd did we get on an inaccessible tower? You look at it the wrong way. Imagine the grief that could have been caused had that sniper rifle been lost (It also increases said value of anyone else's)! Personally I am indifferent to the EVE level of greif-age that goes on.

The ideal situation would be to force snipers out of the redline so we can outmanoeuvre them (At great risk and expense of time crossing the ground to get to them) so we can turn the tables on them in a balanced game mechanic which doesn't allow players to essentially be untouchable while they kill the opposition with impunity. Not try to teamkill them. im afraid he still lost that sniper rifle... im pretty sure that quitting a match early causes you to lose whatever fit you were currently in. im not 100% sure, but i swear ive losts suits ive tried to save by quitting before.

That is why we hate snipers so what do you do about commandos using sniper rifles and rail rifles?

I run sniper on the occasion to help my team and yes I use a Thale and you can bet your sorry A** I am very good with it. I am have been orbitaled so many times do to me sniping the other team, I laugh for all it proves is I have gotten under there skin and they cant stop me by any other means TANK514 another sign of cancer in the game
