I was sniping with my Thale in Caldari FW today, and somebody decided to pull out the Balac N-17 Sniper Rifle (or whatever it's called lol).
Then I saw an RDV coming, so I looked to see if it was friendly or not, and it was. But because I was bored, I decided to watch him for a bit. He was driving up the hill to where the sniper was, and I kept watching him.
The guy popped out and started shooting the guy. So you know what I did? Popped 'em clean off the mountain. The sniper had almost no health left, and then he left the match.
I wanted to send him so mail, but I didn't catch the guy's name. 
Why do people hate snipers so much?
Considering how the Balac Sniper Rifle is one of the rarest Officer weapon this game has to offer, I would be appreciative if somebody was to bring this into battle. Not try to teamkill them.

The idea of limiting HAVs on the battlefield has been tossed around... why not sniper rifles?
2 or 3 is about all a winning team should have to support.
Are you implying that he (or snipers in general) are useless?
I fail to see how 50 kills, relaying intel to my squad, and weakening the enemy front for the ground troops is considered useless.

He already said no when I asked for them, so I doubt he'd give them to you.

Anyone who holds a Balac SR in their inventory deserves a cookie. And the ones who are able to use it deserve a batch of cookies.

Well, I just assumed that.
