I find it hard to have any sympathy for Caldari and I have always detested Amarr. But as to the reason for the MinGal dominance, I would offer, as it has been offered before that the Duvoulle is the likely reason. While the RR is awesome, it doesn't do "everything" the same way the AR does. It has limitations and I would dare say in PC you don't want to find yourself limited as a result. And looking at it the other way, the CR has an advantage in CQC over the AR...thus, the Min love. Same with the HMG for Heavies. As a Heavy, the gun is more important than the suit, always has been. What does Caldari or Amarri have that the majority of players will want or need?

We have dedicated Caldari and Amarr faction runners in corporation The main reason to be honest is the amount of new players or players for a month or so are joining FW with no preference to whom they fight for. It was supposed to be a middle of the road challenge when you start getting a decent amount of Skill Points, ISK and Skill and knowledge of Maps in DUST. The average Caldari and Amarr FW runners doesn't know the maps... most for instance don't even understand they need to "hack" the objective and merely get there then stand around assuming it will change over. Most won't even invest into their win's where most Minmatar and Gallente are wearing ADV and Prototype. A lot actually have to do with the type of gear the LP store offer aswell. Most of the gear would benefit a new player more then a veteran, as you need a lot less skills to use the items is the main benefit to 80% of the stuff in the LP store(not a reduction in fitting cost). This would make most of the LP store items appeal to a new player as they can get into Prototype gear with a lot less skills. Even the Madrugar Federation edition requires no skills to use. A lot have to do with players that don't know any better because CCP doesn't explain their games to well, and the rest has to do with this being a free to play, and the average player we even get into DUST 514 is... special.. and will keep going back for the loss and blame everyone else. The rest has to do with Aim assist turning this game into (You have "X" health, I have "X" health, I have "X" damage, you have "X" damage... both our aim assists lock on... the person with inferior skills and gear looses.) so new players that work or have Aiming ability are not really a factor unless the vet is reloading.. Meh >.>

Almost every match I've ever been in has had coordinated squads of people in PRO gear on the enemy team. Get better. Honest Answer: Because I am a Matari at heart.
