Okay guys, today 1.7 hits and it will be A W E S O M E!
So, lately many people asked me how to troll people in FW effectively and I can tell you, it isn't easy. A simple bullet into the head of one of your fellow teammates might kill him, but you'll get banned. Now ... don't worry. I'll present you some simple methods which will allows you to be effective in FW without getting punished.
First Rule: Always use BPO because you chance of dying is extremly high.
Method 1: I'll catch a grenade for ya Okay, this is fairly simple to begin with. You see a teammate throw a grenade into the redberries. Follow it. Plain simple. Most likely the redberries will run away and despite range fire there is nothing to fear. Most times this will be a secure PUNISH for this teammate f*cker that killed you.
Method 2: More people, more fun Griefing presents a great opportunity for coordinated teamplay. Form a squad of griefers, catch those grenades together. Best thing you can do is run into a friendly orbital strike, because that's a solid 6x PUNISH for the MF that killed you. 6x PUNISH will get most people back to loyality 0 and banned for 24 h. That's what he gets for doing bullsh*t like this.
Method 3: Show me your skills You see a squad of proto guys in your team and they run together? Follow them! As soon as you encounter enemies start shooting them down to 1/2 armor, one after the other. (You are allowed to shoot 6-7 people down PER MATCH) Now those little f*ckers are able to show how get they are in their little proto suits. Stay back and watch them fight.
Method 4: See ya next game Make two alts and use them! Each of those alts is able to run a Frontline fit and can shoot people into 1/2 armor or straight up kill guys. You encountered some really nasty players? Maybe even a Thales Tar guy? Relog, join the side they played and straight up shoot them your opinion made of plasma into their head. They will understand. Be careful here and only use this to waste officers weapons of theirs.
Method 5: Stay down Simple. Terminate clones of your side like there is no tomorrow. Show those logistic players with needles what you think of them. Terminate every clone (your side and opponent side) and watch them suffer.
Method 6: No. See a friendly tanker recalling his tank? See a friendly tanker calling in his tanker under enemy fire? Give him a bullet into his head, he deserves it and will understand.
This is it for now. If there is time I will add advanced methods later on. I want to finish this post with a quote of my favourite character Han Solo from Star Wars: Live long and prosper.

griefing is the art of getting in the way of your oponent without being overtly agressive.
griefing is the ultimate passive agressive form of gameplay you can do :P |

Also remember, AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
When they send you mails or chat messages containing 1) racists or sexist content, 2) lots of spam messages or, and this one is the golden ticket to perma-ban griefing, 3) Real Life threats.
Now you must be rather careful with how you phrase any replies and _never_ move to any subject outside of in-game griefing. E.g. you can work up a player quite far with threats of continued griefing and in-game threats against their clone and honor, but always make sure it is clear the threat is against his clone.
A lot of people who do not know the lines in the sand that CCP has put down will often overreact after losing expensive stuff, etc. |

Well, but behind a character there is a person. I'll try to make a childish example: We are children and we are playing hide and seek, it's my turn to seek, someone in the other team decide to help me, he knows where are his teammates The first time is fun, the second time is fun, the third time is getting boring. For me that i have to seek and for the other team that hides. Multiply it for a decent amount of griefers....

back in my days of hide and seek, we just figured it out and starting hiding from both.....
im not kidding.
also being that guy who helps out the kid everyone named "IT" just because he was slow on his feet and couldnt catch anyone was kinda hilarious.
the third time we just kinda... ya know... adapted, and changed the game.
i spent my childhood in amungst a legion of children in a townhouse making up games for everyone to play. if you can think up some stupid way some kid tryed to ruin things, ive seen it and thought up a way to turn it back into fun. |

its all just a game in the end and your always free to change the win condition.
If you know things before they will happen... I suppose we have to grief the griefers

and yes, grief the grifers, that or accept that its a game, and when it happens clap along and enjoy it.
someones GOING to grief you, its inevitable, so make sure your ready to accept it gracefully and return the favor. |

I don't think ccp is ready for the not stop grief that comes from fps games that allow it. In mmo's it happens but is well spread out. You can go weeks or months without seeing any form of grief. In a fps, it's hard to find a match without griefing.

CCP runs EvE online...
a game where everything you do int he game is plagued by griefers.
you cant mine in high sec without being can flipped or scuicide ganked.
you cant mission run without ninja salvagers stealing all your ****
you cant FW without AWOXers using purple status to get close
you cant even go a day without either experiancing it or having to modify your gameplay to prevent it.
CCP is perhaps the MOST qualified to handle this... |

It is built into Eve that any player can do anything with no ill effects. If someone tries to grief in eve, you can retaliate with no downside. In dust, countering a griever causes ill effects. Team kill him, you lose LP, and can get banned yourself. The grief causer, done in the manner op mentioned becomes uncounterable. It is one sided, therefore already broken. Not to mention griefing takes time in eve to get enough sp to do it effectively, in dust, simply create a new email for another psn account.

you can begin your griefing carrer with zero skill points spent in EvE.....
and if you cant figure out a way to counter it by reading this, im going to LOVE the hate threads you start this week.

But EVE is unique. There is nothing like it. So if you want to play it you have to play it as it is.
DUST, on the other hand is one of dozens and dozens of FPS. So if you want to play one without griefing, you can take your pick.
So maybe CCP isn't qualified to handle this?
