He offered to pay you back AND punish/talk to him. You asked for a reply from SVER and you got one. Allow him to attempt to make it right on his end and settle it like adults. It's a win-win. If he does it again, commence with the death sentence, as it is justifiable at that point.

I'll speak with him. As a pilot, nothing grinds my years more than teammates stealing my stuff. I personally try to have some sense of honor while flying. I don't steal ships, I don't crash into them with militia ds, I dont call in RDVs. I'll see what I can do to cease his douchbaggery, but he is his own person, and I can't baby him.
That being said, i think you may be over reacting. You said it yourself, it's not the money, it's the principle. Well, sorry to say that that principle is the golden rule in New Eden. Team killing, theft, spying, ganking, griefing, etc are to be expected. So harden up, don't fly what you can't afford to lose, and trust no one.
Again, I'm sorry to hear of his actions and will try to curb such behavior in the future.

No, it's not ok, Skip and karma can be a ***** and you would be justifiable in hunting him down, but do it individually and keep it between you and him. Involving both corps can have an adverse effect on everyone involved, costing both parties ISK and creating animosity towards each other.
He stole YOUR ship. He is messaging only YOU. No need to involve others. You are in a position of leadership in your corp and should represent it well. Your juniors will take note.
Talk to his superiors. Let them pay you for that injustice. Let them talk to him. He is one member and one member is not usually indicative of the whole. See him in FW? Shoot his ass as payment, multiple times if needed but keep it between the two of you.

STB is no joke. I'm just trying to help prevent a TK war that your corp will be forced to fight for you, even if they don't want to. Hell, some may not even know WHY they are getting TK'd in the first place. STB has loads of ISK to compensate their players because of PC gain, so it is easier for them. Its a 15 second lock on a dropship. If you don't want money back for it, then don't complain. Right now your whining on the forums calling out an entire corp for the actions of one member. Now if that one member had did something like awoxed another corp then that's one thing. But in this case He stole your vehicle which, in case you didn't remember, has a 15 second locked timer on it. If you got crushed by the DS then that's your fault. If you sat around thinking nobody would take it, then that too is your fault.
Principles? What principles? Its a game centered around the idea that were all mercenaries. People will do whatever they please. Just because one persons ideals doesn't match up with yours doesn't put them in the wrong, it just makes you insensitive for not realizing this fact in the first place and not preparing for this sort of thing to happen.

Skippy, I feel you, your a good player and I know it. We've all had our dropships stolen every once in awhile. I had a 1.5 mil incubus jacked by one of my students because I was lagging. He took off, and I watched him get obliterated by a rail tank in less than 10 seconds......I was pi$$ed naturally like most pilots would be.....worst part was, I had about 6 mil isk when this happened so I could barely afford a new ship.
My advice, take it with a grain of salt and adapt. I only call in a dropship when no blue dots are present and at the start of a match, I call in a jeep and drive off to a safe deployment zone.

Ok you're getting a little self-righteous now. It's not ok to take stuff and just pay it back, but that's maybe why there was also mention of reprimand with repayment. Maybe you would've even gotten another, more sincere apology, but now you seem like you just want attention because someone in a big important corp took your dropship. Did you lose the match or win it? Was his use of the dropship contributive to the win or loss? Maybe you should just deal with it, or have killed him in the match if you were so mad, but now you're just dragging it out to get your 15 minutes on the Dust forums.
And the actual definition of Karma is not you getting revenge for your dropship stolen one match, appropriating a religious concept you don't seem to have a full grasp of to make a silly point is kinda crappy.
In closing, your complaints don't matter and you probably would've crashed the dropship anyway. |

SVER True Blood exists since MAG on the PS3, in MAG the Squad APC was "LOCKED" to the Squad so that ONLY squad members could use vehicle. In otherwords, don't blame the guy, it's CCPs FAULT, all they have to do is add the vehicle "Lock" Option.
This idea was taken from PLANETSIDE (The First one), All CCP had to do was make Vehicles in general bound to Squad use ONLY - Unless the Driver/Pilot wishes to open the vehicle to allow him/her to transport other Team members. In Planetside your vehicle is Locked to anyone apart from the Driver/Pilot. The Driver/Pilot can also open Slots/Seats/Spaces on the vehicle to Squad use ONLY or even Team use in general. Futhermore in PLANETSIDE the Driver/Pilot which calls in their vehicle can also KICK/REMOVE people from their vehicle.
CCP you have alot to learn and PLANETSIDE , PLANETSIDE 2 comes close to the PS4, Officially Early Next Year - 1st Quarter.
NB CCP I do not wish to have a forced AUR Refund for the BPOs Removed in 1.7, I wish to have items of the same level, a fair exchange a BPO for a BPO based upon what their old market value was at the time of purchase, nothing more nothing less.
