No, some people are just stubborn :) I disagree with your argument and I think you're wrong, that doesn't make me dumb, it doesn't make you dumb. how can you possibly disagree with our argument when you don't have the slightest clue what we are going on about about. Right, well we started out arguing about CCP doing a 180 on their BPO "policy", in which CCP Logibro stated that they weren't going to remove BPOs - https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=116404Hey all,
We just wanted to clarify statements made about the removal of BPOs.
We are in the process of removing BPOs from the market. We have already removed them from the in game market, and we will eventually be removing them from packs available on the PSN Store. We are not removing any existing BPOs from any player inventories and there are no plans to do so. BPOs are currently not functioning as intended so we are looking at the way they work in game.
Again, we would like to reiterate that they will not be removed from any inventoriesNow, one must assume that the OP thought that the 180 was due to the fact that when 1.7 is released it will be removing four BPOs - https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=15131164800 AUR Militia 180mm Reinforced Steel Plates Blueprint 4800 AUR Militia Shield Regenerator Blueprint 4800 AUR Militia Shield Resistance Amplifier 4800 AUR Militia Power Diagnostic System BlueprintThe OP would go on to complain that it was unfair that he was only being refunded the Aurum, he wanted either his money back for the aurum he spent, or an item of "equivalent value" (Which rereading that has just made me realize CCP should give the OP four Exile Rifle BPOs, right?) The gist of nearly every reply from the OP was about how it was unfair to be removing these four BPOs and that getting only Aurum for it back was an outrage, not only this he had a bone to pick with the Vets who purchased the BPOs at 30 Aurum. He also says something about CCP lying, when they clearly have not, they've removed four BPOs that don't fit into the system anymore and given you a refund. Your post mentioned several things, such as how CCP has the grounds to remove all BPOs, which has actually always been the case, if CCP wanted to remove all the BPOs they could just do it, there is no physical force stopping them and it's well within their rights to do so and just give you an aurum refund (read terms and ****), but they've approached it from a different way, rather than remove every BPO in the game, they'll remove the ones that don't fit with the game (see vehicle modules for details) and let you keep the ones that won't be changed. You then go on to say how CCP are deceitful, which I argued you were wrong about, because there is nothing from CCP about being deceitful; noun [mass noun] the action or practice of deceiving someone by concealing or misrepresenting the truth: a web of deceit hypocrisy and deceit were anathema to her [count noun]: a series of lies and deceitsCCP didn't hide the truth, they haven't made a series of posts lying about it nor have they mislead us in anyway about BPOs so again I disagree with your idea they were deceitful. Alright, TBBT time, soz guy, but yeah, I get your argument, I don't much care for your side of it nor do I agree with any of the points any of you have made at all, and Luca, refer to earlier post, kthx. Good points. The op just feels butthurt about it. Even though we all know its fair he feels entitled to ask for more....yes I believe in a post I made on the subject he stated that his time wasn't free. Oh my yes, you must pay for the pleasure of this fools time. He also stated the issues weren't just about bpos, its more about how he feels betrayed because logibro lied! Which of course he didn't, they have been shown this many times yet they cannot seem to hear with their heads so far up their own asses. Logic fails these crusaders. Exactly. Incidentally, Numnutz, are you on Dust right now? I'm about to get on.

which of course logibro did lie. how can you not possibly translate his post as anything but a lie about what has happened. is there not bpo's being removed from players inventory... yes or no. its a simple question anyone with 2 brain cells could answer but after reading some of these posts i may be wrong about that

F2P gamers have contributed nothing to DUST514 or CCP financially, and haven't help pay the cost of maintenance or updates that they fiercely defend, even when these updates directly hinder and negatively impact those who have supported the game, BPO and Pack buyers. Their opinions as such don't count when they say "I support BPO removals" because they never had them to start with and haven't contributed anything to the game, so they can go bathe with a toaster as far as I'm concerned.

CCP Atli when asked by Zion Shad about the state of BPOs
CCP Atli stated "They're not safe" in referencing to the last sources of BPOs being made available still.
Forums erupted a short bit
CCP Logibro on behalf of the community team (after hunting down CCP Saberwing and CCP Atli at eve vegas) put out the statement of re-interation.
Rewind to 1.5 the original vehicle patch CCP Wolfman was going about saying how they where going to need to remove modules, and noise as well as a few other things from the game to make vehicles work again. During about post 1.6 CCP Wolfman then posted a therad of all the new modules. Which did not for all intents and purposes not included the 4 module families including their BPO variants.
This also means that majority of these modules are unusable, on the simple grounds you will not even HAVE THE SKILL LEVELS REQUIRED to operate them any more as the skills are being removed entirely to exclude 3 of the modules. The fourth module the armor plate is nearly incapable of fitting proper on any vehicle without killing its function entirely.
CCP had to then consult legal, marketing, and sever bros on how to handle the entire 'respec' issue if and begin drafting a plan on what they were going to do once 1.7 hit. That plan is now public. so logibro lied? I don't think you understand that ccp chose to make them useless... why? also I'm ok with the removal if it really improves the game... time will tell... if it doesn't than they were all the more wrong for taking them from us.if they are right, great! but I still deserve an item of equal value. either a permant useful item like maybe a bpo of the new module, or a psn credit or a mark up in aur as great as the mark up those who paid 50 aur are getting..... This is a new twist. When have you said in ANY thread about this that you were ok with it if it makes the game better. I could ask you where the 180 came from, too. my issue has always been appropriate compensation, OR to leave them alone.... you guys against this movement just don't read the threads... And your statement counteracts that issue. There IS appropriate compensation, the Aurum that you bought (you didn't buy the BPO's, just the Aurum) with which you got the BPO's. It's a fair trade. Do you think I'd complain if they removed my Primordial suit? No, it's just militia. And my RAVEN suit is STD, and I still don't care.

you not caring is your own prerogative. denying everyone else theirs is not your right. if ccp wants people to spend on dust they need to work with us not against us

the problem is this is likely just the start of things to come. and if we let ccp off lightly then we will suffer later down the line. insignificant modules now and more important ones later. letting them off with a simple refund is not enough to let them get away with it

why cant they. if its an ingame item they can change anything they want. if they removed assault rifles from the game what would happen to bpo's based on them. this is the issue here. no matter the compensation ccp gives the fact remains all bpos are based on ingame isk items and removing any of these items would force a removal of the bpos they are based on. a simple compensation is not acceptable because some of these items have no aurum value. also some items in packs were also available on the market at some point.
i believe the toxin's were available on the market at 1 point. now that item has a aur value so they can remove it. lets say they had a pack only version of a toxin. while it is not a aur item in the pack there is /was an item exactly the same on the market at some point that did and nothing is stopping ccp from basing the value on that item and then removing it.
dren logistics - pack item sever logistics - same item just different name but market bought
now ccp has a comparison aur value to compensate you for it and snatch the suit from you

These items were bought with RL cash from SONY, not CCP. If they a're removed we can DEMAND a refund from SONY for PSN credit, and then SONY can go grip CCP by the balls and DEMAND to know why they are having to reimburse thousands, if not tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to consumers, and I think this will be the final nail in the coffin for DUST514. If SONY decides to pull the servers and ssupport for this game, it's FINISHED. And don't reply that people cant get refunds for the aurumn, Mercenary, Veteran and Elite packs because believe me it's already happened and has been done before.
