I don't know if someone mentioned this earlier in this thread but your calculations are wrong.
To get EHP values, you take HP / damage multiplier. So for shields, it's shield HP / .8 (didn't explosives do 130% to armor and 70% to shield?)

So by your logic, if I have 50% resistance and 100 HP being affected by it, my EHP will be 200?
That doesn't seem right bro
If I get hit with 100 damage, and I resist 50% of that damage, I will take 50 damage. |

Just one point to make. Swarms will rarely ever be able to lock-on to you now that their range is being slashed in half. Just wanted people to keep that in mind while debating the subject

You're looking at it two different ways there. You could look at 50% resistance as either increasing your hp or decreasing enemy damage. If you consider it as increasing your HP, you could take 200 damage before dying, measuring the damage by what the weapon is putting out.
You could also look at it as leaving your HP alone and reducing the damage done to you. If you look at it this way, a weapon that would normally do 100 damage a shot would do 50 damage a shot now, and it would take two shots of the lowered 50 damage to deplete your 100 HP. |

Well now my thoughts, they have given my python exactly what it needed and what I asked for,a couple hundred more HP. Extracting troops from hot LZ's might actually be possible now. I don't believe that ADS will be op either, seems about the right amount of HP. I can't really say which ADS is better out of the two, as I only fly caldari. Though I have always thought that the incubus is better suited for support than its caldari counterpart. Since its armor tanked those high slots could be used for cru or tactical equipment (scanners?) Where as the python has to use its highs for its tank. Though we are speaking ADS I'm sure most incubus pilots fit AB and shields. Food for thought though. I'm very much looking forward to 1.7 now |

Yeah, they both lost a slot, but don't forget that fitting side turrets will now be optional, so that saves a lot of pg/cpu for more intense modules (aka hardeners) |

theres not much room for any interesting fitting variability in DS anymore unless they're going to add advance versions soon with more slots.
ADS both lost 1 high and 1 low slot, lost HP compared to std and may have less pg.cpu? |

Trust me, ive used it and i suck with it, but ive seen many ADS Pilots go 15/0 WITH scattered Ion cannons I HOPE they get better, if they dont, ill have to kill infantry without the ROF Bonus And Also Incubus Can Fit DMG Mods without sacrificing Tank, which will be a deadly combo with small railguns and MIGHT Compensate the lack of ROF from Missile Turrets

1: True 2: Rails are Hybrid with a 10% bonus to Shields 3: Rails have 24 Shots per Mag, Missiles only 8 4: They will use the Normal Accuracy of regular missiles not of accelerated turrets because it would be too power full = not as accurate as rails 5: Both are ADS and both should have almost the same agility. The extra plates will be canceled by the Armor Composition Skill 6: Agree 7: Passive Reps? 8: But they dont rep that much shields 9: It has the smell of his enemies tears
