If they refund all SP the same posts begging for more respecs will be up in a month because they didn't understand what they were doing, CCP tweaked something, some thing is OP/UP, noobs don't have a chance and the classic-I want to have more fun with a different gun. It will not be more fun because the game needs content not a wasted effort to pacify QQers.

Im repeating myself to make myself clear: This game is still in beta, we would not see fixes on core mechanics still if it wasnt.
Big changes to the game in 1.6, even bigger in 1.7 than uprising 1.0.
CCP has confirmed respec mechanic on dust 514 round table at EVE vegas 2013.

For starters all vehicles will be revamped entirely. AV is getting nerfed as well, meaning that some people might want that SP elsewhere. The AV changes might not warrant a respec by itself, but coupled with the vehicle revamp it's just best with a full respec. Some people say that only SP invested into vehicles should be refunded. I seriously fail to see how that even makes remotely sense. Vehicles will be quite different after these changes and some people might want to skill into them. Without a full respec they can't. Yes, choices should have consequences, but these people spent their SP at a time where vehicles were different than they will be now. Another thing is, why should vehicle pilots get the option to skill out of vehicles when infantry people can't skill into vehicles? This wouldn't make any sense. The only way it would was if vehicle pilots weren't allowed to spend their refunded SP anywhere but in vehicles. Again, choices have consequences, so once a vehicle pilot always a vehicle pilot, except for the fact that vehicles will be in a very different state and vehicle pilots might not have skilled into them in the first place knowing this. To sum it up, vehicles especially, but other things as well such as AV, will be in a different state than before and the "choices have consequences" can't be applied in this situation. This game will NEVER stop changing, what don't you people understand. This is how CCP works and how the game is. You do understand that specialization means you specialize in something?
