It didn't help last time and it won't help this time. Refunding points doesn't make the game any more interesting or fun. If they refund all SP the same posts begging for more respecs will be up in a month because they didn't understand what they were doing, CCP tweaked something, some thing is OP/UP, noobs don't have a chance and the classic-I want to have more fun with a different gun. It will not be more fun because the game needs content not a wasted effort to pacify QQers.

Im repeating myself to make myself clear: This game is still in beta, we would not see fixes on core mechanics still if it wasnt.
Big changes to the game in 1.6, even bigger in 1.7 than uprising 1.0.
CCP has confirmed respec mechanic on dust 514 round table at EVE vegas 2013.

It will not change anything about how people make choices and the game is constantly changing. It is not in Beta because the developers says its not. I say you are 14 but that doesn't make me right just like what you say doesn't make the game a beta. And how to get the opportunity to choose between every racial dropsuit in the game when the skills in the skill tree still are so specialized? Respecs until skill tree is revamped somehow. This game will NEVER stop changing, what don't you people understand. This is how CCP works and how the game is. You do understand that specialization means you specialize in something? Unfortunately, we'll have to listen to half the players complain that they can't be prototype in new suits and weapons on the very first day without a respec. Let's just ignore the fact that the drive to achieve something new is critical. Let's just give it to everyone without any effort. Everyone and their mother can theorycraft the best fitting in the game with HP mods, dmg mods and AR or ScR. So how does refunding SP change that? The problem isn't caused by the inalienably to change styles it is the instability of people to change their thinking on how a game should be. I understand that the skill tree is changing but it will still be vehicle related and probably similar to what we have now. You are telling me that a HAV pilot will stop being a pilot for a HAV? I am not saying that some SP needs to be refunded for skills that are removed but a total respec for everyone is junk. The skill requirements for vehicles will still be there and probably in the same type tree. Vehicle support is fun but doesn't pay and I went lots of matches 0/5 0WP while helping HAV pilots. I would love to have that SP back but if the skill isn't removed then I shouldn't get it back. Please don't misinterpret my hard line stances on respecs as not caring about pilots and vehicle because I tried for months to provide vehicle support with limited success. I spent time/ISK/SP doing something for nothing with nothing to show for it but a 0.75 KDR and a wall let missing millions. Not to mention all the SP I missed by not providing infantry logistics. Try playing three or four straight matches running full advanced gear and matching LAV and only making about 5 kills and getting nothing for support while lossing at least two LAVs and about 10-15 suits because I would fight for my pilot in the HAV an not let AV grenades take them down.
